The Burgholzhof observation tower is an approximately 27 meter high observation tower in the Burgholzhof district of Bad Cannstatt. The listed tower offers a comprehensive view of Stuttgart-East, Bad Cannstatt, the Hallschlag and the Neckar valley to Esslingen am Neckar from the platform. Unfortunately it is only open on Saturdays and Sundays, which is something you need to keep in mind when visiting.

Great view of Stuttgart.

I discovered the tower on a hike through the vineyards from the Pragsattel towards Münster. The few stairs up are rewarded with a great 360 degree view. On the weekends, clubs often run outside. Then there are delicious home-baked cakes (also vegan), coffee, various drinks, etc. with a great view. There is a toilet in the tower staircase (note opening times).

The Tower is open from may - sept. during the weekends. It has a great history and also a great view over c Canstatt/Stuttgart and the wineyards. Across the tower is a parking area(free). Enjoy the view there but also enjoy a long walk by the wineyards. There is lao a Bus station.

Wonderful view over the whole of Stuttgart, during the day and also in the evening. There is a parking space opposite the vineyard for around 30 vehicles, but it is no longer free of charge.

The tower was closed at the time of my visit, but I knew this in advance. So unfortunately I can't say anything about the view from the tower. Also because the vines are so well stocked, the view down to Stuttgart wasn't that good. If you continue towards the hospital, past the Skylounge, you will have the opportunity to look for a shady spot under the trees. I was able to take at least the last two pictures there and so you can get an idea of ​​what the view from the tower can be like :)

Well-preserved tower in the style of an old castle with tuff stone inlays, nicely built. There is even a toilet inside the tower. I was there on a Saturday and it was very empty. Climbing up is worth it when the weather is good, there is a wonderful view of all the hills.

Mein Gott, esta maravioso. The sight is worth driving to see it. A lot of stairs to climb and if you have breathing problems don't try it 🙃. The view was a bit hazy from the tower but it started clearing up. The imbiss that was there had some great brockwurst and different 🥧 slices it was worth splurging myself. Pictures don't see everything our wonderful and great eyeballs see so it really gets the eyes excited. You probably won't like it so don't go just stay home watching TV or lounging on the couch.

Really worth the trek especially on a beautiful clear day. The views are wonderful.

This historic site has excellent views overlooking Stuttgart. It has a parking lot across the street, walking trails nearby and a restaurant next door.
