Wer Lust auf Tierpark hat, sollte den kleinen Tierpark besuchen. Ein Rundgang ohne Kinder dauert ca. 2-3 Stunden. Eintritt ist mit 6,40€ absolut in Ordnung für Erwachsene. Wer Kinder hat, kann wahrscheinlich den ganzen Tag dort verbringen. Es gibt drei tolle Spielplätze, einen Bauernhof und einen Streichelzoo. Es ist übrigens möglich eine Hütte für einen Kindergeburtstag zu mieten. Da kann man bestimmt tolle Sachen den Tag machen. Uuund es gibt einen Schnullerbaum... ganz interessante Sache 🤪 Die Gehege sind mal richtig modern und liebevoll gestaltet mit viel Auslauf bzw. Ausflug, dann jedoch gibt es das ein oder andere Gehege, da denk ich, das da ein wenig mehr Auslauf nötig wäre und irgendwie fehlt da das dekorative, abwechslungsreiche Geschick aus anderen Gehegen. Wir waren das erste Mal dort und hätten uns an den Orientierungstafeln die Angabe des Standortes gewünscht. Das war immer ein wenig Rätsel raten. Bedingt durch Corona ist die ein oder andere Anlaufstelle geschlossen. Das ist auch völlig in Ordnung. Am (ich nenne es mal Vogelgang) hätten wir uns gewüscht dass die Artenbeschreibung vorrübergehend auch von außen lesbar ist. Das hat ein wenig optimierungsbedarf. Erwartet hätten wir im Gesamten nicht solch eine schöne Anlage, welche an einem kleinen See vorbei führt.

This place has my heart. For several reasons - 1. Affordable (budget friendly) 2. Decent selection of animals considering this is a city zoo 3. Option to play with goats, pony and feed certain animals (alpacas) 4. Family friendly place 5. Very well designed :)

This park was one of the first ones I visited when I moved to Germany. It's easy to find, well laid out, stroller and wheelchair friendly, great for kids and the animals seem very well cared for. I love the variety of animals you can see. You do need to book a ticket in advance of going. Pre covid they had a little Cafe you can buy items from but it is currently closed. You can buy little bags of seed and feed the animals as well. It also has a few play structures for kids.

You can only pay in cash (7€/adult), and unfortunately no discount for federal volunteers (which is the case to many museums & other tourist attractions in Europe). The map the ticket seller gave us was not up-to-date, therefore we couldn't find the animals according to it. There is alpacas there, which according to the map, is to the right of the entrance, but actually was somewhere else. There were free bathrooms inside, to the right direction of the entrance.

A rather small and local zoo with a nice variaty of animals. Very nice atmosphere. We were a couple with no kids and we still had a lot of fun, for kids this would be even better. The only downside - everything is in german, but still worth a visit.

Wir sind stolze Besitzer der Jahreskarte und regelmäßig mit unserem kleinen Mann hier. Er liebt alles am Tierpark. Zuerst Ziegen & Enten füttern, dann auf den großen tollen Spielplätzen toben und Picknick auf der Bank. Zwischendurch immer wieder Tiere bestaunen. Da fliegen die Stunden nur so dahin. Alles ist immer sehr sauber und gepflegt, die fleißigen Mitarbeiter sind ständig unterwegs. Parkplätze gibt es auch noch gratis - aus unserer Sicht geht es nicht besser. Absolute Empfehlung und lockere 5 Sterne für den Aachener Tierpark.

Etwas außerhalb gelegen. Es gibt hier einige Parkplätze. Wir sind zu Fuß gekommen, das ging auch sehr gut. Sehr günstiger Eintritt. Der Park ist zwar auch nicht groß, aber ich finde, da könnte man sogar echt noch mehr nehmen 🤗 Eine wirklich schön gepflegte Anlage. Bis auf die zahlreichen Kinder, irgendwie mehr als woanders hatte ich den Eindruck 😅, ist es dort angenehm ruhig und es wirkt mehr wie ein gemütlicher Spaziergang als wie ein Tierpark. Zu den Gehegegrößen kann ich als Laie gar nichts sagen, aber grundsätzlich ist glaube ich jedes Gehege irgendwie zu klein 🤗 aber die Tiere schienen mir hier nicht nervös zu sein oder auch die Großtiere nicht dauerhaft von links nach rechts zu laufen. Nur die Erdmännchen schienen schreckhafter zu sein als ich sie sonst so aus anderen Zoos kenne. Die Kinder waren aber auch wirklich extrem laut (es waren zahlreiche Gruppen von Kindern da). Keine Ahnung ob es damit zusammenhing. Die Kleinen Imbisse waren nicht geöffnet (mittags, Ende Mai). Alles sehr einfach gehalten aber wunderbar. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!!!

Great environment, it was very pleasant and calm. There was a big diversity of animals and they were all very cute and photogenic. The location is also good. You can easily spend most of your day there, it is definitely worth it! We didn't, but we saw people feeding the goats so I think you have to ask for the food when buying the tickets. Cute but expensive plushies.

The cheapest zoo around. But of course not as big as the Antwerp or Cologne Zoo ! As a result, there are not many kinds of animals! But a nice place to spend time with children 👍

Had a great afternoon here, surprisingly close to the centre of Aachen and extremely easy to find. Free parking is also available to visitors. Great variety of animals which are obviously well looked after. Plenty of staff attending to their needs throughout the day. Particular highlight was the goat enclosure which you can go inside and meet the young goat kids! Definitely worth a visit!

Cheap prices but a lot of animals that they advertised where not even there

Great place to take little kids, the zoo has a lot of local animals but also a nice but limited variety of exotic animals. We went on a public holiday but we felt that it wasn't too crowded for the animals or our little one to be overwhelmed. It's a well kept zoo where you can feed some animals with fodder you buy at the entrance. You can get refreshments either at the entrance or at the small cafe. We enjoyed the day and spent probably a good two hours, maybe more if we had used one of the many play yards, which all come with seating and sometimes tables too. We particularly enjoyed the animals that you can go touch and feel. The signage in the park could have been a bit better to find our bearings but you'll never get lost. That's for sure. Also the price at 15€ for two adults is super reasonable. Can very much recommend!

Not a lot of animals but there are some. Habitat sizes are very random. Big animals get a small cage but small animals get a huge one. A lot of protection, which makes it hard to see the animals and gives a bit of a prison feeling. Fun to check out once if youre in Aachen. I think its more fun for the kids tough

Don't go to the covid test site in front of the entrance! covid pass is not required to enter the zoo. I am not sure why people in the line for testing whom we asked confirmed to us so. Anyway, a nicely designed and sized zoo with mixed of "median rare" animals and farm animals. A lot of playground stuff scatter, so kids are not bored.

Exceptionally nice zoo for the little ones. Not too big, not too much, just enough of everything. Nice enclosures, cool playgrounds, plenty of interesting animals without going over the top. Can definitely recommend!

Really great to visit. Their animals are really well treated. There multiple places where you can just sit comfortably and watch. Especially on good days, always a great time. My favourite animals are the small red pandas there.

I must confess that I've never been to a zoo before so my rating will be bloated by the sharp edge of novelty. This quaint establishment has a surprisingly adequate number of animals and one can spend a couple of enjoyable hours before he can say that he has seen everything. The enclosures are built on top of a natural landscape that makes you forget that it is a zoo at all.

Good price, it was fun for our son who is 2,5. Highlight of the day was feeding the goats. Things that could be better are trash cans in the toilets so you can get rid of the changed diaper. And the warm food form the restaurant should be warmer. And coulb be fresh some things get warmed in the microwave they could be fresh of should get more time in the microwave

Ein sehr schöner, übersichtlich gestalteter Tierpark. Wundervolles Gelände, das mit Baumbeständen, liebevoll ausgeführten Skulpturen, See, großzügigen Anlagen für die zahlreichen unterschiedlichen Tierarten, vielfältigen Programm, besticht.

Unser letzter Tierparkbesuch liegt bestimmt schon zehn Jahre zurück. Nun waren wir endlich noch mal hier und haben einen sehr schönen Tag mit unserem Patenkind verbracht. Direkt vor der Türe sind viele kostenlose Parkplätze. An einem Mittwoch war zum Glück überhaupt nicht viel los und wir konnten uns alle Tiere ganz gemütlich angucken und auch die Spielplätze voll auskosten. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und auch bei den Fütterungszeiten gab es viel zu sehen. Leider kann man nur an der Kasse etwas zu Essen/ Trinken kaufen, da ansonsten alle Kioske geschlossen haben, also am besten viel Proviant mitbringen. (April 2023)

Es ist ein toller Park, es gibt soviel zu sehen und entdecken, für Kinder ein kleines Paradies! Viele Spielplätze und genügend Bänke um Pausen zu machen und die Tiere beobachten zu können! Ein Kiosk sorgt für Verpflegung, von Eis bis Bockwurst für jeden etwas dabei!

Beautiful little zoo with lots of small animal and bird exhibits. They also sell bags of food which you can give to goats, sheep, and ducks at a few places around the park. It may take a few hours to see everything as there are pens on the far side of the small lake in the middle. Very good wheelchair access.

Nice place to bring your kids. There's an area where you can feed and pet goats. It's easy to spend a few hours in here and it's affordable. The minus point is for the lack of food options inside. The snack bar only serves a microwaved frikadelle and sausages and bad coffee. It looks like a place in the DDR where there wasn't enough food to serve.

Ein wirklich schöner Tierpark, der sich um seine Tiere sehr bemüht. Die Käfige und Gehege sind in einem sehr guten Zustand. Zudem ist es hier möglich, auch Kleintiere für den privaten Zweck zu erwerben. Kleiner Geheimtipp: Hier können gesunde Degus gekauft werden. Ein schöner Ausflug für die ganze Familie. Eine klare Empfehlung für einen sonnigen Tag.

Sehr schöner Tierpark. Viele Spielgeräte für Kinder. Damit haben sie sich wirklich viel Mühe gegeben. Für Groß und ganz klein. Preise auch in Ordnung. Sehr schöner See. Ziegen kann man auch füttern.

Der Tierpack an sich ist toll, doch die Wegführung ist echt mühsam. Das könnte man einfacher machen, siehe andere Parks. So viele Leute waren ständig am suchen auf den Schildern, wo .... wo .... sind wie und so ..... Es ist ein kleiner Park dennoch schön für einen Spaziergang.

Nicht zu großer Tierpark im Randgebiet von Aachen. Das Areal hat einige Steigungen die aber gut mit Kinderwagen zu bewältigen sind. Es sind mehrere Spielplätze im Park verteilt. Es gibt auch eine Snackbar. Am besten hat uns das Pinguinbecken gefallen.

Ich war jetzt schon zum 2x hier . Und es ist immer wieder schön die Tiere zu sehen . Die Ruhe und Entspannung dabei zu genießen. Es sind sehr viele Sitz Gelegenheiten hier und auch Piknik Ecken, gibt es zahlreiche . Für die Kinder, sind dort mehrere Spiel Plätze . Es kommt jeder,der dort ist oder war, auf seine Kosten. Komme aus ,der schönen Dom Stadt Köln aber ich muss immer ,wieder hier hin . Leute fahrt auch mal hin wenn ihr noch nicht dort wart. Es lohnt sich auch vom Preis her .😀👍LG.

We had lots of fun many little parks to play in they have got exotic animals like meerkats and camels we also had a great time feeding the animals amazing sites.

Not a huge zoo, but with a nice variety of animals: there are red pandas, servals, penguins, different monkeys etc. And there are also 3 playgrounds :) The price is low, and our impressions are very positive! Highly recommended ;)

Really nice place, specially for kids. A mixture of a park, zoo and playground. Only think I missed was a place to have drinks or food.

Cheap and local. Play areas for children are really nice and well maintained. It could be improved by providing an actual route so that one can visit all the animals. Also, the electric cars at the entrance/exit are a terrible idea as children don't want to see anything else

Very nice place, low-priced, super clean, several playgrounds for kids (the sand was even raked). I wish the signs were in English (some are in Dutch and French but not all) but it's a wonderful place to come with a child on a day off

Very nice place! Got very close to a lynx. I like this parc because it is a nice size, especially with kids - not to big and plenty of playgrounds amidst exotic animals.

Small zoo with a selection of animals. A lot of playing grounds for the kids makes this a a place to relax for the parents. Catering could be improved, it is a small selection. I liked the afri cola, something alternative. We spend about 2 hours here. I think it is a bit focused on the locals.

Very nice park! Only thing to improve would be the catering and toilets. In my opinion not enough of each for the park. Otherwise really nice park with plenty of different animals and playgrounds. Also considering the price, it is way cheaper than any equivalent park in the region.
