It's a nice zoo I found it very educational they put small board with pictures and it's explained about the animals history. I found a very interesting the place to hang jackets in restrooms see pictures below. Definitely recommend every one

A smaller and a bit older zoo with lots of different species, and a large playground. Fun for children but also adults. Two of us spend about 2 hours walking around. There was pretty much no one else, except for (the mostly unfriendly) staff. The entrance had several signs stating that three entrances were open but we couldn't find one entrance that actually was, until someone exited through an entrance. All around a decent zoo for a cheap price.

Very good zoo, animals look very satisfied. Alpacas were very pretty, just after the hairdresser :) It was very interesting to watch budgerigars how they take care of their featherless kids. There are special "windows" to peep into their homes. Some birds can seat on your head or hand. Fabulous interaction with domestic animals - sheep, goats, pigs. Kids enjoyed, 100% worth visiting

Fantastic family friendly Zoo with wide areas for the animals and wonderfully crafted surroundings. Lots of F&B choices. Friendly staff. Just a whole lotta fun!

Small zoo with lots of play areas for the kids. You enter via a petting zoo and then can tour some more exotic animals. It's pretty small so don't expect a lot. However, there are nice and impressive exhibits where you come up really close to the animals like wallabies, deer, parakeets and vultures.

Lots to see, bound to entertain the entire family as you stroll through a very cozy zoo. It wasn't too busy, there was plenty of shade to escape from the sun, sufficient places to sit down and enjoy a coffee or get some ice cream. Near the end of the park there is a children's playground with a large restaurant, great place to wind down as you've seen most of the park, have some lunch before finishing up the sights.

A great day out well worth a visit. Unlike conventional zoos it has no giraffes elephants and Tigers. It does have a museum like appeal showing how farming used to be Interesting for young and old. I would recommend it to anybody who would like a nice day out with the family.

Family friendly zoo with good enclosures, and they give the animals some proper enrichment. Also opportunities to feed some animals yourself. They provide information about the environment and ways zoos help endangered animals.

Really lovely and wel kept zoo without the zoo feeling. Loved that you were so close to the animals and could feed many of them. The aviary was especially cool with birds landing on your hands to eat the grain. The joy on the kids faces was infectious. Sea lions were lovely too. No English translation, but the Latin name of the animals is provided so if you're not sure, Google that and it will come up. Lovely day out for the family, young and old. All the staff we encountered were so nice too.

A really nice zoo that isn't too expensive and due to us staying at Roompot Bad Bentheim we also got a 25% discount. Making the total about €20 for 2 adults and a one-year old. It's nice that there are also parts where you can touch the animals. Feeding time is fun and educative. Lots of parking available.

Nice entree level Zoo. Al lot of interaction with the normal kind of animals. Not that much exotic animals. But hardly a miss due to how close a visitor can get to the animals. Prices are very reasonable compared to the Netherlands.

Always a great place to go. Continued investments always make for something interesting and new to see. The food places are great too. Very friendly people and clean spaces.

Good ZOO. Not too big. Not too small. No Elephants but plenty of other animals to see.

We had a very nice visit yesterday! Our whole 'pack' was together because dogs are allowed in this zoo! We even got a baggy of snacks for our dog when we bought our tickets!

Zoo is a nice place with unique design. It feels cozier than a normal Zoo. We were there for the Faultiere Erlebnis. Totally worth its price. Kudos to the very passionate Zoo keeper, she explained everything happily and answered all our questions. Only minus point is toilets were dirty and smelly for Germany Standards. That shouldnt be the case for a Tuesday afternoon with almost empty Zoo.

A nice place to visit on a Sunday afternoon.

Very nice park with wide variety of wild and household animals on display. Also large size playground in the middle as add on entertainment. The restaurant next to the main playground (next to seals) is very crowded and service is not good at all (even knowing its in Germany)… they even managed to give me a chocolate bar expired long time ago.
