Great Vietnamese dishes from all Vietnam Good location ,good service, nice atmosphere and affordable prices Should be 5 stars but sadly they allow people to smoke indoor even if they have NO SMOKE signs… weird

This is a good place to go if you just want a quick bite or the place you wanted to go to is closed (since it's open 7 days a week). The menu is huge as well so shouldn't be hard finding something to please everyone. We tried a variety of dishes and all were pretty good, though nothing really blew me away other than the Mango Juice which was fresh and delicious.

Overall flavor is above average. Not over seasoned. I came across this restaurant when I was on my way back to my hotel. The watermelon juice was tasty. The spring rolls were nice except one thing: it’s very hard to chew/bite. The rice papers seemed too thick and not moist enough. The fried rice tasted okay.

Today is our last day here in Hanoi and decided to have lunch at this restaurant. There are few things on the menu that are not available. The food we ordered are ok. What made this a 4 star review is the service. The lady who assisted us was so attentive. As it's a 36 deg day... she gave us a fan each. Also gave me hair ties as I was sweating uncontrollably. Thank you for your good service.

Very good food with reasonable price! There are quite a lot of choices. My favourite restaurant in Hanoi so far.

Came here for dinner. The service was fast & brought food in the correct order (which is rather seldom in Vietnam). The taste was fantastic, but the portions rather small. Interior and music both enjoyable. Overall I was really satisfied and would definitely come again. Recommended!

Got a group of 15 booked in and fed quickly; vegetarians were happy with the menu too. The owner suggested share plates and that worked well. The crickets were cooked better than I’d had before, and the banana flower meals were great. Didn’t like the deer but the spicy ants it was with were nice.

Nice restaurant with a variety of different Vietnamese dishes. What stands out are their selection of cocktails and drinks. We ordered a sampler of 12 different mixed drinks concocted from the Vietnamese rice alcohol. Not too pricey with a good vibe and service. They do tend to allow people to smoke indoors toward the latter part of the night.

Ordered 5 of their signature dishes and left 90% of it. Not so tasty. A bit of a dirty taste. The oil they use to cook and fry looks like it needs to be refreshed. We ordered similar dishes elsewhere in Saigon and it tasted amazing. Very disappointed. They have great alcohol selection though which was helpful in helping us digest the hard to digest food. They have interesting selection but poorly executed. Menu is in English but no one could speak English.

Really nice place with good music and vibe. The food is the typical Vietnamese food, so if you like this kind of food, you will be happy to pick this place. There's a lot of food and drinking offer, and the service was very fast.

Quite disappointed…apart from the morning glory which is acceptable, all other dishes are below average. Neither the taste nor the presentation is appealing. Won’t recommend especially if you are here as tourist for an authentic Vietnamese cuisine experience.

Very interesting menu, with both the usual tasty dishes that will satiate your appetite, but also adventurous stuff. The catfish roll and the clams with crackers were the best dishes. I'd fun with the crickets, but that's not for the everyday diner. Though so far so good on the gutt. The service staff are friendly and the menu is very well written in English.

Very disappointing from a Michelin guide restaurant. The staff managed to seat us upstairs without reservation which was great as they were really busy and the waitress upstairs was amazing and ensured the service was really fast However, there was a group smoking upstairs which really put us off the atmosphere and food The starter we had the buffalo and the crab spring rolls which were great but the mains had no flavour at all I had the fish and tofu and my boyfriend had the pigeon dish with rice cakes both had no flavour at all It’s really over rated and to be honest too expensive for the food and atmosphere really disappointing as we did a lot of research to find an amazing restaurant for our one night here

Simply delicious. The food and service here was top and what we enjoyed most were the 2 local IPA beers available, much nicer than the typical beers served everywhere else. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

First visit to vietnam 1. Ordered pork hanger, difficult to chew, not juicy, not the taste that suit me 2. Ordered a fish (kind of a small thin fish), acceptable taste 3. Ordered chicken rolled in pandan leaf, taste is ok but difficult to chew too 4. Ordered springroll with vege and shrimp, taste is acceptable Bear in mind the waitor is not fluent in english, probably not suitable for foreigner. Nonetheless this is a good place for beer

Very nice and traditional Vietnam Cuisine. The food were excellent! It was busy that night so the staff can only focus on the big group.

Came here on our first night and wasn’t disappointed! As a vegetarian, always have trouble finding a restaurant that has a decent amount of options for me as well as meaty options for my partner. This menu was great, I had plenty of choices which were all delicious! My partner said his meaty dishes were great too! Deffo worth coming too! The eggplant dish and the crispy spring rolls were my fav! I’d recommend getting a window seat downstairs to people watch!

They managed to miss our reservation although we did call in to reserve one day in advance. Upstairs staff was passive aggressive as we came up and found out there was no table for 6. Food was mediocre, lacking favors. There are many other authentic restaurants in hanoi offering way better service for such price, wouldn’t return

I was here in 2016 and instantly fell in love with the place so I vowed to come back. After 8 years, the food is still AMAZING! But I’d have to say I’m deeply disappointed that my experience in the restaurant this time was completely and utterly horrible. We were sat in between two large tables and they were being extremely loud. We made complaints to the waiters twice to ask them to lower their voices but the waiters did nothing. Maybe it’s the Michelin star getting to their head so they don’t want to help smaller tables? But with the atmosphere, it brings shame to the star.

We ordered the Fried Rice with Beef and Sauerkraut, Hue styled wrap and pork skewers, hearth smoked buffalo and potato croque. All of these dishes being really good with the stars being the fried rice and pork skewers. Upstairs in the restaurant also had some interesting seating which was nice for a slightly different vibe.

We simply loved our dinner at this place. The food is amazing, service is very good, the drink selection is very good, but for sure the star of the show is the variety and quality of the food. Sad that we only visited on our last day, so could only go there once.

Private cooking class at Highway 4. We took a bicycle ride to the market to pick up ingredients then back to the restaurant to learn about Vietnamese culinary dishes. Dishes we made were a fusion Vietnamese dish, we were hoping for more authentic dishes. However, the general manager was very nice and let us try a bunch of house made rice wine. Excellent service!

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. Let's start with the positives - the place looks really nice, and the first starter, shredded beef, was good (although the sauce was a bit salty, which might be intentional). The craft beer served was also fine. However, the second starter, the french fries with garlic butter (an uncommon mix, which is why we ordered them), was awful. They were extremely greasy, the frying grease seemed stale, and they weren't salty enough. The main dish, pork ribs, was okay, but not particularly special in my opinion. They could benefit from more braising time since the meat was hard to remove from the bone, although the taste was good. The fried rice was also okay but lacked seasoning, especially salt. The main reason why I've decided to write this negative review is the poor service quality. The waiter who served us nearly rushed through our order, and we had to call him back to complete it. He also took our menus without asking, which was peculiar since we were the only ones from whom menus were taken. Each dish arrived at different times, and at the end, the waiter ignored us when we wanted to pay, so we had to chase him down. Overall, it was the worst dining experience I've had in Vietnam so far. I would recommend trying any of the dozens of pho or bun serving places around instead. However, if I ever find myself in Hanoi for the second time, I would check for the newest reviews. If they are mostly positive, I would consider giving this place a second chance. I just hope that maybe the crew had a bad day and we were simply unlucky.

I might say this is my favorite restaurant after spending 1 week in Hanoi. All of the dishes are so tasty and the waiters are so friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem. Their chicken was so juicy and tender. Don’t forget their Happy Hour at 3-6pm. Buy 2 get 1 free!

Food still tastes as good as I remembered when I started visiting 20years ago, and I'll visit every time I'm in Hanoi. Prices are not very expensive, really worth coming for visitors who wish to experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine, after many days of Pho, Banh Mi, etc.

Very busy and lively place in a traditional Vietnamese building. Great to immerse in the culture but I did not think much of the food. Difficult to get service, but then I'm not confident calling out "em oi" to get attention!

Nice place, the food didn’t blow us away though. The meat was so tough that it wasn’t edible actually, and a very long hair landed in my meal (which happens, that’s ok) but the staff didn’t seem to care about it that much. Sadly, the lack of hospitality made this evening rather difficult.

Great selection of Vietnamese food and traditional rice wine. Go to the 2nd floor if you want to eat as the tables on the first floor and smaller and is more suited for drinking. They have some of the more adventurous dishes but nothing too crazy.
