Amazing experience at The One Hostel, stay one week there and could recommend for sure. A lot of activities from the cruise into a private island to one of the best night ambiance in Hanoï in this hostel. Shout out to Dan, Omar, Alicia, Pink, Dennie and all the staff who are such welcoming people

I recently had the opportunity to join the free walking tour offered by The One Hostel, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my stay. The tour was led by Abby, a staff member whose knowledge and friendliness truly stood out. Abby’s expertise about the city’s history, culture, and hidden gems brought the streets of Hanoi to life in a way that was both informative and engaging. Her passion for the city was evident, and she eagerly shared insights and stories that you wouldn’t find in a guidebook. What I particularly appreciated about Abby was her approachable and friendly nature. She was attentive to all participants, making sure everyone felt included and had a great time. Her recommendations for local food spots and attractions were spot on, enhancing my overall experience in the city. I highly recommend taking the free walking tour if you’re staying at The One Hostel. It’s not just a tour; it’s an opportunity to connect with the city through the eyes of a knowledgeable and friendly local like Abby. Very good hostel. The rooms were nice and clean. I got mine next to the pool, which was a bit noisy but very fun. The location is good, in the middle of the old city. The staff was also nice and helpful. Thank you Stella for welcoming me here.

Loved this hostel! It was super clean, the staff all spoke English and they were super helpful and friendly. They have tours available which I did both (ha Giang loop and ha long bay cruise) and not only were they one of the cheapest, but from what I asked of others, one of the best. They offer you a free night back from the cruise and honestly, they’re good at sales so they know how to keep you there. A great experience :)

The rooms were clean and well-organized, the food was surprisingly good, the bar area and the rooftop bar were cool, location was great. However, the bathrooms in the all-female dorms were terrible. There is essentially no ventilation, meaning the bathrooms never fully dry out and the mildew and mold just builds up. The cleaners come in multiple times a day, but without proper ventilation its useless. I had planned to stay longer, but I ended up booking a cheap airbnb because of this issue.

One of the highlights of my visit was interacting with the General Manager - a friendly and charismatic leader who ensures everyone feels at home. But be warned, he’s a bit of a pool shark! Our pool games were filled with laughter and friendly competition, adding to the overall enjoyable vibe of the place. The facilities are clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities to make your stay convenient and pleasant. Whether you’re a solo traveler or with a group, The One Hostel caters to all needs with its mix of private and shared accommodations. Overall, The One Hostel offers a vibrant and fun atmosphere, top-notch hospitality, and a great opportunity to immerse in the local culture of Hanoi. I recently stayed at this incredible hostel, and I can't praise it enough. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the unique setup added an extra layer of charm to my experience. I'm eager to return and wholeheartedly recommend it. The staff, especially Sophie, were not only helpful but also incredibly entertaining. Sophie's bingo games were a delightful highlight of my trip. I can't wait to come back for another memorable stay!

I really enjoyed staying in The One Hostel. They have everything a good hostel needs. Super clean, good food & drinks, a rooftop pool&nice bar, cool people and the beds in the dorms are super cozy. I am especially very impressed about the staff! They are all so friendly. One of the members is Michelle, she really helped me out with many things. Thanks to you girl!! Highly recommend this place

Brilliant hostel in a great location. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe here. Especially loved the super clean pods and friendly staff. Big shout out to Dan the DJ who helped me plan my time in Hanoi.

At the very first beginning I was very angry with the noisy from the bar in the first floor. The hostel has a bar itself located in the first floor. But after I complained to the hostel , their manager called Zung showed me a sincere apology. He promised they will low down the sound from the bar and try to finish around 12:00am. AND they did it. It was suddenly quite around 12:00am and I could had a better sleeping. The location of this hostel is very good as well, which will bring you walking distance to the surroundings. If you like to club and make friends, strong recommended to stay here.

I recently stayed at The One Hostel where I was met by one of their volunteer staff members Briana! Aside from the beautiful atmosphere and stay of the hostel, Briana was an amazing staff member who showed wonderful hospitality and was a joy to be around for the daily events, games, and pub crawls! If you’re looking to stay in Hanoi and meet some amazing new friends, I highly recommend you stay at The One Hostel.
