Very nice hotel! Service is impeccable! Only two rooms have balconies and I have one and you can see the entire city because it wraps around. The room is spacious and clean, bed is comfortable, shower is very nice and clean. I have visited some of the grandest hotels around the world but this tops them all.

Visited this hotel in September and the stay was good. It is located at a good location with nice places to visit like the famous night market which is at a walkable distance. Please add more Indian food items to your buffet spread. I know there are lot of Indians who come and stay here. Indian food which was prepared was not great and may be chef should learn to make it better.

Lovely hotel in Hanoi. We were warmly welcomed in the foyer. The front desk person that checked us in was professional, friendly and helpful. Our family room is fantastic. Our son was very excited and happy with his own bed and play area. We are pleasantly surprised to see kids books as well. All the staff spoke English and have excellent customer service. We will be enjoying our stay here. Thank you.

I spent my vacation at Melia Ha Noi from 16/10/2022 to 19/10/2022 and it was better than I expected. My room had a balcony overlooking the city which I thoroughly enjoyed. Your team did an excellent job. I'd like to thank Ms. Hien - FOM and Mr. Doan - AFOM for their warm welcome upon check-in as well as Mr. Tuan - Chief Concierge and Ms. Ngoc Anh - Guest Experience for their outstanding service and kind assistance during my stay at Melia Ha Noi. I first contacted Mr. Tuan - Chief Concierge for transportation assistance, and he took care of me throughout my trip. He is always available to answer my questions, make arrangements, and relieve the stress of planning, allowing me to simply relax and enjoy! I highly recommend the Melia Ha Noi and hope to see you again soon!

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I knew I was in for an extraordinary experience. The hotel not only met but exceeded my expectations in every way, offering an amalgamation of luxury, accessibility, and top-notch service. Room: The room was nothing short of amazing. Spacious and immaculately clean, it was designed with a keen eye for detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, adorned with high-quality linens and a selection of pillows that guaranteed a good night's sleep. State-of-the-art amenities, including a smart TV, a minibar stocked with a variety of beverages, and a well-appointed bathroom with premium toiletries, added to the overall sense of luxury. Enjoyable Experience: The ambiance of the hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. Whether it was the soothing background music that greeted you in the lobby or the tasteful art that adorned the walls, every element contributed to a sense of relaxation and well-being. The hotel also offered a range of recreational facilities, including a well-equipped gym and a serene spa, ensuring that there was never a dull moment during my stay. Accessibility: One of the standout features of this hotel is its prime location. Situated in the heart of the city, it offers easy access to a plethora of restaurants, shopping centers, and tourist attractions. Public transport was readily available, and the hotel even offered shuttle services to major points of interest, making it incredibly convenient for guests to explore the city. Service: The service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. From the warm welcome at the reception to the prompt room service and helpful concierge, every interaction was marked by professionalism and a genuine desire to enhance my stay. In conclusion, this hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, enjoyment, accessibility, and exceptional service. It sets a high standard for what a hospitality experience should be. I left feeling not just satisfied but truly pampered, and I am already looking forward to my next stay.

Unfortunately at this time the hotel is in partial renovation so no areas for coffee or restaurants or else available area to sit...Only function rooms serve for breakfast.. The experience is affected and we are far from 5 stars hotel level. No prior mention when i booked on these renovations hence this comment and notably with the price tag that comes along

Hotel is decent and centralised in the city. Walkable to the old quarters and local attractions too. We were here and there’s a night market open near to old quarter surrounding the lake. Walkable to most places… room is clean and and comfortable. The shadower room has no door wound wet the entire floor when showering. The breakfast is provided with decent spread. Unfortunately the power tripped twice last night 24 sept when we about to sleep.. luckily the power returned in 5 mins but can be a concerned of this is a long term issue of the hotel. It would be hot as window is not able to open. Calling the reception and no one was picking up the call. I hope hotel can give us an explanation as to why. We stayed from 24-25 sept , room 1204.

We enjoyed our stay at Melia. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a nice location and has great facilities. We enjoyed the extensive breakfast menu. Overall, fantastic hotel and I would happily recommend it to my friends and large groups

Everything is perfect except for the parking. If you’re staying in this hotel better not drive your own car there for parking. Because they only offer 4 hrs free parking for one night stay. And they charge VND 30,000/hr for parking fee, which is ridiculous. I don’t understand why hotel guests can not get whole free parking during their stay. Even from check-in time to check-out time is way much better than only 4 hrs.

It is a great luxury hotel right at the heart of Hanoi city. their food is good too, and they house some of the best wine. But their customer service is not up to the mark. I am yet to receive the refund of the advance deposit taken during checkin. Even after multiple calls and emails, the issue is still un resolved. I am utterly disappointed at the way they handled this issue. 😪

I was blown away by the staff in the Club Lounge. While using the Melia mobile app to extend my stay, I encountered some errors in the reservation process. However, the Club Lounge staff immediately resolved my concerns and ensured that I had a seamless experience. Throughout my stay, the staff provided exceptional and professional service, making my time there a truly enjoyable one. The kimono-style bathrobe provided in the room was incredibly soft, which was a pleasant surprise. Not only was the restaurant on the first floor fantastic, but the food in the Club Lounge was also diverse and so delicious.

The hotel is amazing! The location is pristine and walking distance from literally anywhere. The gym just blew my mind. It is big, the equipment is in good state and it is staffed. The room service was also very good and surprising for a hotel in Vietnam where the street food rivals all!

Melia is great with clean and tidy room, the fruit basket was welcoming and fully satisfied with the service. The breakfast was full of choices with both international and local dishes. I love the beef pho very much.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this 5-star property. The staff have been extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. So glad our tour group selected this hotel for our visit to Hanoi.

It's a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms are nice, but the finishings can be a bit rough around the edges. The mattresses are definitely selected for a primarily regional clientele, as they are extremely firm bordering on wooden (by North American standards). Currency exchange desk will only accept pristine bills. Otherwise the staff are very helpful and kind.

Great hotel in terms of room, service and location. The barber shop with bar in the hotel is something really cool. However, I had to pay 510,000 VND for parking fee which was a weird experiece. For a 5 star luxury hotel without private car park is something new to me. For guests with a car this is definitely not the hotel on top of your list.

What an amazing welcome we received at Melia Hanoi, the staff made some very special touches to our room on arrival after long journey from the UK. Room was absolutely lovely with I think the comfiest bed I have slept in, complete with pillow menu ! Amazing location less than 10 minute walk from Hoan Kiem lake, then you can just wander into the amazing old Quarter. Great breakfast choice and super friendly staff, so glad our honeymoon itinerary from Trailfinders included this luxury stay.

Service is terrible Asked if they have a laptop charger to spare, the answer was no. Asked where can I get one, they don’t know. Usually most hotels would usually have chargers on standby in case guests forget to bring them or not compatible with local power requirements. And this being a better hotel of international reputation is unacceptable. Asked for simple coffee that never came despite asking two different servers.

This is my 4th time staying at the Melia Hanoi and up until now, it was my favorite hotel in the world. I'm back in Vietnam on business and am finally able to bring my family over with me. We've been touring the country for 2 weeks and have stayed at Melia properties throughout Vietnam for the past 4 nights. I insisted that my family has to stay at the Melia Hanoi with The Level benefits and joined Melia Rewards a while ago just to be able to use points to afford this stay. I've been talking for months about how this will be the best hotel experience of their lives. Unfortunately, things fell far short of expectations prior to checking in and also upon checking in. First, Vietnam Airlines canceled our flight into Hanoi and re-booked us on a later flight that would not allow us to arrive at the Melia Hanoi until about 10 pm -- well past the time that The Level serves food and drinks. I emailed ahead of time to inquire if my room rate (we booked 2 rooms on The Level) could be adjusted since we, due to circumstances beyond our control, would not be able to enjoy the amenities of The Level. The answer was a very firm no. That didn't seem like customer service befitting a 5-star hotel, but OK. I emailed asking if perhaps we could have some snacks upon arrival since we would now be traveling through dinner time. There was no response concerning that inquiry. Also odd for a 5-star hotel who has always provided me impeccable customer service. Upon checking in, we did so on the 20th floor which is customary for a room on The Level. There we were offered a drink, which included a beer. We were not offered snacks, but I did sneak a plate of cookies from a jar that had been pushed to the side after the evening food service. No food, even something simple like a cookie, was actually offered to us. We finished our one drink then moved to our rooms to unpack. After unpacking, I went back to The Level hoping to get another beer to settle down for the night. There, I was told that I could not have another complimentary beer -- I would have to pay for it instead. The fact that a beer here is relatively cheap didn't matter to me...it was the principle behind it, so I declined to pay for another one. When it's all said and done, I've essentially paid for two very expensive hotel rooms and only have one beer and a cookie to show for it. I'm here for three nights total and am already wishing I would have tried one of the other 5-star hotels in the city. Business will bring me back to Hanoi many more times over the next 6-8 months, but I won't be staying at the Melia again. Kind of heartbroken about it, if I'm honest. Try another American 5-star chain while you're here. Stayed at the Sheraton Riverside in Ho Chi Minh City and the service there set the standard. Maybe try the Hanoi Sheraton.

I went for oversea study. My first impression is not friendly Security at entrance the way he instructed me with not really voice and gesture even not really much trafice at time. The people at information desk at grand ballroom not really polite and helpful when we appraoch for venue of the even. She answer with no eyes contact, no feeling at all...

I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could. First of all, you get a sense of luxury as soon as you arrive. The staff is amazingly friendly, contrasting with an otherwise unfriendly city. We had a suite on a high floor with a corner view - possibly the best room I've ever experience in my life. When we told them we were on our honeymoon, they prepared for us a beautiful little cake and greeting card - it's little things like this that make it an even more amazing experience. Breakfast was also incredibly rich and diverse. Cannot possibly find a fault for this hotel. I t was absolutely fantastic. Thank you, Melia Hanoi!

First class accommodation. Attentive, friendly staff. One of my favourite things about this motel is that all lifts available on the ground floor doors remain open so you can walk straight into lift without worrying the doors will close shut on you. If only every lift in the world had this as a standard? So sensible.

Absolutely loved our stay. We travelled all around Vietnam for 1 month and stayed at many different hotels and this was by far the best. All staff were friendly and professional. Hotel is in a very convenient location close to Hoan Kiem lake. We booked a suite and the room was very spacious, comfortably organized, and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and there was even a menu for pillows! Housekeeping was great as well, they really paid attention to the smallest details. There was one night where one of our neighbouring room was very noisy and we could not sleep, we called reception at 1 am and they immediately took actions to resolve the issue. Wonderful staff and great service. Even after checking out, we were leaving to wait outside for a taxi, one of the staff offered to carry our luggages and helped us put all of our heavy luggages into the car. Next time we are in Hanoi, will definitely come back to this hotel.

This hotel has excellent rooms, restaurants and bar. The staff in the restaurant and bar were wonderful, unfortunately the reception staff your first interaction were rather surly and it feels like the the hotel prefer up market business people over tourists. It is somewhat sterile in nature, but the food and drink areas are wonderful

Great place to stay. Rooms were super clean. Everything was in working order and bed was very comfortable. Gym was well equipped. Breakfast spread was good. Dont have to walk far to look for some local coffee or food. Staff were great and polite. Rooms have international sockets so it accepts all plugs

Clean and comfortable rooms. Good size too. Staffs courteous and helpful. I’m pampered by their service in helping me to book taxis and reservations for meals at restaurants. I love the ambience and service plus quality of food at Madam Hien in particular. My favorite was the pomelo salad.

Perfect location as it's near the Old Quarter. Nice hotel newly renovated. Helpful and friendly staff. Not to say a one and only real 5 star hotels in old quarter.

I didn't stay there, I was only at the hotel for an event. The event area was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. The sound system was very good. On that day, there was some machine running so that the floor and everything else shaked like there was a small earthquake

All started with a polite welcome at the front desk. Rapid check in while I've been given all basic information (breakfast time and location, etc.) Comfortable, quite and clean room, reached through elevator only with the use of the key card for safety. A surprising experience several hours after the check out since I have been offered the use of the hotel SPA for free, to regenerate after a day's work before catching up my flight in a fast way, thanks to the efficient concierge service! Really, a nice place to be!

Great location, well kept establishment. Only issue is the paper thin walls in the guest rooms, could even hear conversations on the floor below sadly.

I stayed there about three years ago, and these are the two biggest complaints about the hotel. 1. The hotel has an event hall, so it is crowded with outsiders besides guests. So the hotel lobby is often too noisy. 2. When I check out, the hotel deducts UNICEF funds that I don't even want from my deposit. It's terrible!!! Other than that, most employees are kind and breakfast is delicious. The size of the pool is too small, but few people use it, so it doesn't matter.

Stayed for 3 nights. The room is excellent and very clean. The food is of good quality but some dishes are uninspired and the breakfast choices lack variety. And the hotel staff English is not excellent. For the price of a room, it did not meet up to my expectations.

Modern high rise and centrally located with most attractions within walking distance. The hotel had pretty, festive décor during Christmas time. Cleanliness and standards were at the highest level.

Moved here for the last night of our stay in Hanoi. The hotel was nice, it's quite a busy place - tourists and business. Not quite five star throughout - the room on the upgraded 'Level' was very smart, with a great TV and lovely big shower, but still not quite what you'd expect for five star. The service was excellent throughout, even at busy times. And the breakfast choice was impressive, even though we didn't have much time before our flight.

Beautiful and classy hotel. Price was reasonable for a 5 star hotel. Staff were extremely courteous and friendly from the greeters outside, front desk receptionist to the restaurant manager and banquet manager. Was there for 4 days for a training and there were always someone around the training room to provide assistance. Centrally located with a number of eateries within walking distance. Should try the hotel if you are looking for something upscale and don't mind paying a little more.

Do NOT go to this hotel if you have a baby! The service is very poor. There call you in their loud phone in your room in the middle of the nappe of your daughter. My daughter get sick just after eating the pasta from the room service. She vomits the following day at the breakfast, none of the staff bring napkin to help. You have to ask everything to them, to clean and bring tissus . There is a lot of staff but they stand and do nothing. At the reception, I was so busy with heavy package, my daughter in my other arms, and I am very pregnant, nobody came to help me... It lack of self initiatives is it due to terrible people management ? Maybe this hotel is made ONLY for business trip because of the good location, good quality of bed, good aircon, good meeting room. But do not expect more... Also mistake on the bill, better to check carefully. We experimented Melia at Hoi an, the service was very good for a family ( I recommend). Unfortunately not all the Melia are consistent and provide the same standard of service.

The hotel was clean and nice, and the rooms are spacious and modern. The pool is nothing to write home about and the hot tub was no working but for us was not a priority, there is a nice gym too with lots of equipment. Great staff and great concierge service helping us with the restaurant bookings.

Excellent, super clean, modern, comfortable. As of today, all the bar and restaurant options are closed for construction. No big deal as we prefer to eat out in the city anyway. But sometimes we wanted a nightcap before turning in. No biggie though.

I had a chance to join the Amazon’s program to help and promote Vietnamese SMEs expand their business worldwide by import & export via e-commerce in the Covid-19. It was held in Ballroom 3 in Melia and it was organized professionally and carefully with the helpful guidance from receptionist and Amazon team. They set up the hand sanitizers and covid warning signs to all the customers to take care for their health as well as keep distance among the chairs in the meeting room.
