Must try Bread With Pan Combo, this is a perfect place for Brunch’s date. Bonus point: - Can refill bread as much you like - Sit next to the street very cool view - Friendly with guests - I really love the taste - Affordable price with quality of meal What I don’t like: - The bread is not warm until I ordered the second time, but anyway it still good, would be better if they bring them warm at first next time - The pan is not warm enough too, you can see in my pic the cheese is not melted. - Also would be better if they give customers a cup of water when they eat in place. Still very recommended ☺️☺️

This place is known for its highly rated Banh Mi but is not particularly unique. You can find similar quality Banh Mi at other places for a lower price unless you prefer your Banh Mi wrapped in paper. However, it's still worth a visit because they have a good selection of cold beers and offer quick and friendly service.

I was skeptical but this was totally worth the hype! Liked this place more than other vegetarian banh mi we tried. Good vegetarian options & you can customize if needed. Tasted fresh & delicious. You place your order on one side of the street (there's always a line but it moves fast). They have 2 spots across the street if you want to sit down. If you're lucky, you can snag a table and they'll bring you your order.

Our first banh mi in town, recommended by many, so we had high expectations. You can either order and take away or wait for a table on the other side - where there’s seating area. Sometimes, you can go and sit directly at the table. The bang mi was delicious and served very nicely. Seasoning is great and especially the hot sauce which was flavourful. Would definitely come back.

Bath Mi was crispy and tasty , I had two and a mango shake. Super affordable, kind of a neat and go place. They make them from a little kitchen over the road and run them over. I got the pork with cilantro and chill, very tasty, they do take away. It’s not a place to sit for an hour and I think that’s the way they want it, seats a wood so not the most comfortable but the food is 10 and the price is 10.

I have heard a lot about them and they are quite a catch. Went there after my morning run and they were almost full. Got a table though and was grateful. Went ahead and ordered the mixed and honey grilled banh mi, and of the two, the latter was delicious. The avocado smoothie was also to die for.

One of the best! Never miss this place its so juicy, rich in flavor and authentic. They serve fast and the crew are so friendly. There are lots of people dining but they have enough space. The toilet is so clean. I had the chance to meet the owner himself. So down to earth and friendly. He even recomended other places to eat. We will still go back here for more. What we ordered: The best selling pork banh mi. 😁

Another five star find in Hanoi. Absolutely nice sandwich. Bread was hot and soft. Enjoyed the meat too. Will plan a visit if we are ever back again.

Was highly recommended by friends who had passed by earlier and we weren’t disappointed. Banh Mi is something you really gotta try and this is the place for it. Kinda like a subway without all the useless sauces. Wide range of beef, pork and chicken options. The cocktails, shakes are also nice accompaniments. 2 outlets across the road. Can sit indoors or outside. Service is fast. Good place to meet others and chat along. Loved it and look forward to another visit soon.

They have a takeout spot and 2 dine in locations all in the same area close together. Had the special banh mi chao for 69k vnd. It was amazing. Got one to go after because it was so good.

My go to place for Banh Mi sandwiches while in Hanoi. You can order takeaway or sit down across the way and order in. If you are doing takeaway, there's a line with a person talking orders outside where they make everything. Otherwise, grab a seat and someone will come take your order. It was always busy no matter the time of day, which I think speaks to their quality and service. They have a large selection of meats, but they also have vegetarian options too. I always got everything on it, including pate. Loved the full flavor of ingredients, including the pork and veggies. Just the right amount of kick too. Service was generally quick, depending on how big the line was or how complicated your order is. Be prepared that you don't get a number, they just remember you and find you if you're waiting to take away. Seating can be hard to come by, so just be patient as turnover happens regularly. Pricing is the best part, as it's very affordable. Highly, highly recommend you stop by at least once.

This place is amazing. We had the avocado and egg, and beef and cheese. Both were delicious! They have a seating area across the road from the original shop. Their smoothies are also great. We spoke with the manager who said there are plans afoot to open a branch in Ho Chi Minh City which would be fantastic. They are consistently good so people keep coming back.

Probably the best or one of the best banh mi I’ve had in my Vietnam trip out of like 20+. It’s hyped but so worth the hype. I got the pork (number 2) and added mushrooms. The mushrooms were a great call.

Super authentic tasting, pate was sweet and not gamey at all. All their banh mi was nice, I got all the 3 staff recommended banh mi and loved em all, they are also not super expensive. They also have an avocado smoothie that was just heavenly. I do find however that their bread was a little dry, first time ever I've had a dry banh mi bread. Fillings however were on point. Definitely a place I'd check out.

If I ever back to Hanoi, I would gladly come back here. Banh Mi is good and fresh. Very nice for breakfast. Writing this review make me hungry and want to eat it again! If only they open branch here in Indonesia.

Good Banh Mi at a decent price. Will definitely eat here again. A lot of articles claiming it's the best banh mi in Hanoi, it's good but I'm not sure I would go that far.

This was a great first meal in Hanoi. The banh mi was so fresh and all the varieties were delicious. One negative was the Green smoothie... not very good, need some acid like lemon or add some sweetness.

We came here three times in a week hahaha, tried many things on their menu. I highly recommend the pork with pate (sandwich 1) and the beef with mushrooms (sandwich 2). The crusty bread when served warm is really spectacular. Coffee is decent. Takeaway boxes very convenient for retaining flavor and shape. :)

The bahn mi were flavourful and nice to eat even for someone who dislikes vegetables, especially coriander. The cheese and chicken went very well with the vegetables and the bread was toasted well. Drinks were nice. Went on a weekday night so it was not too crowded. Weekends are packed with tourists.

What a surprise to discover Banmi25. My son and I were walking towards old town Hanoi around 5pm and was getting a bit hungry but a bit early to have a full dinner, so I searched on Google Map to find a Banmi place and saw that Banmi25 was nearby. I forgot that I had seen a review of Banmi25 on YouTube before I visited Hanoi, but did not remember it until I finished eating and left. Banmi25 is located at the outskirts of Old Town Hanoi (you can search for its location). The kitchen where the banmi/food is prepared is across the street from the hall/room where you sit and eat and order drinks. There were more foreigners than locals, but don't let this turn you off from the place in any way. We were greeted by a gentleman who kindly offered us a seat and took our order. He spoke very good English and later mentioned that his brother is the owner of Banmi25 together with another sit-in restaurant just next door. Although both brothers may not look so amicable, they are very friendly and courteous if you talk with them. We ordered two banmi, one beef and one pork, and also one coconut coffee. The Banmi was great and the coffee so SO refreshing with the coconut ice slush as the topping. Atmosphere is quite local and pleasantly relaxing and clean. Highly recommend if you happen to be in the neighborhood.

Cute spot that put some effort into interior decorating. Usually places that stand out like this among the other more basic spots have higher prices. This one doesn’t. Prices are competitive with the street stall prices and the quality is very similar (but more options). It seems to be run by women only, and you have the option to go (order at the kitchen on the other side) or to dine in (you’ll spot the dining area opposite). Bonus fact: this is the first place that clearly allows you to alter the content of your Bánh Mì (see bottom left of menu)

Needs a little bit more organization and attention to service. Requested red chillies in my banh mi but didn’t get it. Ordered couple of beers which didn’t arrive until half finished my food. Upon double checking they had to ask me how much I paid and then double check with someone. Food tasted alright - there are other places in old quarter that offer better quality and taste for a better price.

Not truly Vn style as they don’t add beef. But still the bread is crunchy, the vegetables are fresh and the meat is yummy, tho a bit dry. Try the pork and the beef. Take the seats facing the road to “enjoy” the noisy traffic.

banh mi with fancy cafe ambience . They also serve dishes with sauce on hot plate separately which is a good idea to prevent soggy bread. Price is higher compare to the the stalls along the streets with little stools. But both are awesome to serve different needs. Coffee is good too. My family had great time here

Banh Mi was good, nothing special. It was a little smaller than expected. The place was clean and the service was quick. I think there are better options elsewhere, but this place definitely caters to westerners, as you can see only tourist lining up and sitting there. Vegan/Vegetarian options available so that is always helpful to those looking to try a Banh Mi

Popular Banh Mi in Hanoi. Banh Mi is actually in every single street of Hanoi. But still, I want to check out the famous Banh Mi. It is comfy just to dine in. No need to stand in line. Take a seat and just wait to be served. The cafe is pretty cute. Service and food is ok. I tried honey grilled chicken with avocado and watermelon juice.

Holds up to the great reviews. Great banh mi! Had the roasted pork one with a cold brew. Would definitely go back again and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. The bread was great and the combination of flavors was on point. EDIT: came back a second time, went for the honey chicken with avocado, cheese add-on and extra chicken. Was amazing.

This is our favourite place in Hanoi for Banh Mi!!! We have visited twice already and the quality has been consistent, the service helpful and friendly and the beers super cold!! Would highly recommend, you can grab a take away or sit in the ‘restaurant’ across the road where they’ll take your order and deliver if!! I like the pork with pate, but have also tried to chicken and also the vegetarian. Definitely worth a visit for these crispy buns at the very least!! :)

Banh Mi 25 was delicious! Quick service and friendly staff. Simple to order at the take out stall and seating located across the street. They speak excellent English, making it easy to order. The prices are low and it is easy to grab a quick bite for under ₫50,000. The banh mi was stuffed with juicy chicken and fresh vegetables. The addition of avocado was interesting and I loved it. I still daydream about that crispy baguette! They also feature a variety of fresh smoothies and drinks. The mango smoothies were cold and packed up for the walk around Hanoi.

This was the first thing I wanted to try when I reached Hanoi and it did not disappoint. I ordered the beef with mushrooms with added eggs and cheese and my girlfriend ordered the pork pate. Both were great but I liked the beef one more. Firstly you order from the lady standing beside the menu. Get a queue number and find a seat. We managed to get a seat around 5 mins when we went around 4pm. Definitely would go back to try the combo pan in future.

Food was pretty good but not worth all the hype. The staff are incredibly rude and tend to allow the locals to order before everyone else. Hanoi banh mi is 2 blocks away and makes every sandwich FRESH and the owner and employees are so nice and welcoming! Definitely go there

Delicious banh mi. Had the classic first and the chicken on our second visit. Food was amazing. There is a restaurant section over the road from the food cart you can sit in. It’s very comfortable. We’d recommend this to anyone in the area. It’s really cheap and great quality.

The banh mi bread is crispy outside and fluffy inside. There are a variety of fillings - beef with mushrooms, chicken with avocado, for example. A humble but very satisfying meal!

Best Banh mi in Hanoi old quarters - the portion wasn’t large but has all the best ingredients. It’s got a good mix of different meats, and the bread is also super fluffy. This is a popular place hence do expect a wait!

  • 5/5 Alastair C. 8 months ago on Google
Consistently the best Banh Mi in Hanoi. It is not overrated as even 7+ years ago this was a magnet for food lovers. The new restaurant is just over the street and there are more options! The classic fillings and pillow soft bread are still there, but a new open sandwich dipping option is possibly the best change.

  • 5/5 K L. 5 months ago on Google
Great banh mi in the old quarter. Bread was good, meat was nice and tender, very flavourful with great pate. Their deconstructed banh mi had great sauce, would definitely recommend trying one of each. In the back there is a "hidden" bar with drinks at a good price. Come around 530 for a less crowded experience.

Nhà hàng: “Banh Mi 25” 🥪 To be honest, we visited this restaurant only three times in a year of living in Hanoi. And they always took the same dishes. 🤤 Since I love mushrooms so much, I always ordered banh mi with mushrooms (this is a very tasty sandwich, with soft bread and fresh chopped chicken meat). I recommend. 👌 On weekends, there are huge queues at this place, because this is a famous place among tourists. Therefore, it is better to choose the morning time on weekdays. There are many places, but often full boarding. 😯 In sunny weather, it seems that you are sitting at a table in France or Italy, and enjoying a delicious breakfast. A small moment - but it's worth it. 🥳 The restaurant has a kind owner who will help you with the choice and several waiters, all speak English. 🤔 There is a small car park across the street, but most visitors come on foot. ☝️ This is the second place with delicious banh mi! Thank you ☺️ clean place, 🧽 delicious food, 🥪 Good wi-fi, 📲 Average check, 💵 Master chief 💪

Our experience in Banh Mi 25 has been amazing. Good fresh food and drinks. The host is also very considerate. A must try when you are in Hanoi you won’t regret it. And the best part is it’s very affordable. Worth the wait if you see waiting… :-) keep it up you guys 👏🙌🏻

Came here to try the much talked about banh mi. They occupied 4 shop lots and it was packed when I arrived around 5.30 pm on a Sunday. The shop operator will assigned seat for you but one need to be prepared to share table. Ordered mango smoothie, beef banh mi and the beef combo wok that comes with egg and pickled cucumber. Service was fast but the banh mi to me was just okay and nothing spectacular. The smoothie was yummy.

Very tasty Banh Mi, I got the egg, avocado and cheese one. The price is quite high compare to the other Banh Mi shops but it comes with high quality as well so I'm happy with it. Would rate it 5 stars if the service was more friendly.

Great atmosphere and delicious banh mi. I had the egg, cheese, avocado and went back a few days later for another one. I will definitely try to go again while in Hanoi. The Mango smoothie and avocado smoothie are also very thick and tasty.

A highly recommended banh mi shop. Clean and aesthetic. There are three shops and a takeout counter so just find a place to sit and order. Service was quick. I got the no. 2 pork and it was so good! Very flavourful. My boyfriend got no. 2 beef and it wasn’t as good. Both were 40,000d each.

Popular banh mi cafe with excellent food and pretty friendly service! I went for brunch on a weekday and found they have multiple small shops next to each other to allow for more seating. Staff weren’t particularly friendly when I asked for a seat but my waiter was very nice and food was served fast and fresh. The seating area inside is a bit busy but clean. I would highly recommended their banh mi and iced coconut milk coffee. Portions were tasty and quite filling. I am definitely returning!

Heaven on earth 😀 banh mi is fresh & filling, sugar free juices available. Only ca phe sua could be better. I’d like to highlight the fact they put effort into being eco friendly, using wooden & metal straws, forks…well done guys!

Yummy Vietnamese sandwiches which you should not miss. You may buy from the shop itself for take away or take a seat at their cafe shop just across the small road. You can find very nice cold juices here. Wide variety of sandwiches including a wide choice for vegetarians. Tried both the meat and vegetable sandwiches and loved both. Went back again just before I depart Hanoi.

A MUST eat in Hanoi. Two stores across the street from each other with a great selection of Bahn Mi! We were recommended to go here by a local Viet who grew up in Australia and his wife and he now run their own restaurant... and later saw the multiple other recommendations online. Love your Bahn Mi - this really delights!

Decided to visit Banh Mi 25 based on a recommendation of a local and loved it so much I ordered a second sandwich. This is a family run restaurant and the both the owner and his wife took the time to say hello while I was there. The restaurant has both takeaway or a quaint dining spot across the street if you prefer to relax and dine in. Great selection and excellent value! I’ll definitely return!

Went here to try our first Bánh Mì (filled sandwich, various fillings) Ordered on one side of the road, sat on the other in their seating area and had a few beers to go with it. It's super tasty and super cheap. Beers are 50p... Enjoyed the Bánh Mì so much we had seconds. Each one is about a £1 so you can't go wrong. Will be visiting again. Staff friendly and very efficient. The BBQ pork is great, as is the honey glazed chicken with avocado.

There are around 3 shop. 1 take away/kitchen, 1 is just opposite which you can sit down, another 30m away. The sauce in Bahn Mi is not strong enough. The coconut milk kokoa not bad.

This place is very popular with tourists and I can understand why. The baguette was crispy and not too hard. We got two sandwich-styled banh mi — (1) Honey Grilled Chicken with Avocado and (2) Sautéed Beef with Button Mushroom, King Oyster Mushroom and Garlic. Both were recommended by the staff which were flavourful. We also got the bread with combo pan — pork special — which consists of pate, barbecued pork, omelette and handmade sausage. Good to order if you would like to try various toppings. Instagram: @smolbelly

Great food. Can definitely see why it’s popular with tourists and travellers. Big queues tend to form outside though. We avoided queuing by going over to the seating area directly opposite the main shop and ordering from within there. We were served in minutes whilst others were standing waiting for a while after. My partner had the iced coconut coffee and loved it so can definitely recommend this from the menu. Overall a good experience but maybe not worth the hype that the place gets.

Yes its super touristy and always crowded but the quality of the banh mi is great, way better than street corner ones. Bread is super crispy and the quality of the ingredients is unmatched! Bbq pork was my favorite and only 35K. Also plenty of seats and fast service! Highly recommend it

I love the banh mi, the bread is crunchy and the size is quite big. The packaging is cute and easy to carry around. There's no place no sit, just take away. I tried the sausages banh mi, it's spicy and tasty.

We had two times a quick bite when in Hanoi. The prices are good and also the banh (Vietnamese baguette) is also quite tasty! Everybody goes for the banh mi kep, but I recommend that you try also the banh mi chao, I found it much more tasty! When you go there is you want to sit to eat, DONT que, just sit on table and they will get your order. Usually you wait 10-20 mins that is ok. Recommended!

First banh mi here, taste amazing! Highly recommend trying this out. The shop also comes with air conditioning and good table/chair, and with an English menu. Which makes it easier for tourists to order and consume their food here.
