😠 Nastiest bed I’ve ever slept in. There were stains everywhere and the mattress and blanket were smelly. Mattress is also super thin, so feels like you are laying on wood. The curtain only covered half of my bed, so no privacy. There are way more hostels for this price nearby with much higher quality... Unfortunately the pictures do not in any way represent what the reality is. I reserved a room with a private bathroom and I was told the only room available was a dark, small room with a double mattress quite literally on the floor. It made for a quite uncomfortable stay but as it was only one night I got on with it. Yes it is a budget hostel, but there are far better alternatives nearby for around the same price. Also the AC didn’t work; although this seems to be a common theme in Hanoi. Despite the room, the staff were friendly and the free breakfast was good. I just feel there should be more transparency with the rooms.

First of all: The location is awesome. But hence this place is exchanging 5-star-reviews for free drinks, I feel obligated to leave an honest review: We booked 4 nights but left after 2. The bedsheet was dirty. We found multiple hairs and there was rubbish and cigarette buds in the pot of the roomplant. Price is good though, if you don't mind a lack of hygiene.

Toenail on the bed. Uncomfortable matrasses on bunk beds that are tied together with string. Every time someone slightly moves, the whole row of bunkers moves. No lift. Good location.

Scam. Be careful. We booked a room with ensuite and apparently balcony but instead they gave us a double mattress in the floor very dirty. It wasn’t even a room. So we left. Nothing like the photos

Although located in old quarter this hostel is so chilled out and quiet . Not once did I get woken up (even slept in once till 3pm 🙈 ) beds are comfy and have blinds to give more privacy. There is also usb plugs and charging stations in the dorm bed space ( very convenient)there’s a roof top to chill if you don’t feel like a busy night out ( unfortunately no beverages are served the but you can take your own) the staff is very helpful and friendly Mai you are a star (my valentine). Great value for money.

Reasonable price for my budget. Relaxing on the rooftop and experiencing the old town atmosphere was a unique experience.

It's okay. Cheap little hostel where you get what you pay for. The location is fantastic at least.

Good luck to find this place even with gmaps, took me 10 minutes. As soon as I arrived I wanted to cancel my reservation. Place seems dirty and old. The main room doesn't have privacy curtain. But you get for what you paid, the location is great, old city.

Probably the worst accommodation in Hanoi. Run down place, smelly and dirty toilets, the "mattress" feels more like a yoga mat. Nobody's at the reception, so I just had a look around and left (big minus for security..) Good potential and great central location but needs improvement

I stayed at this accommodation one night. I was completely right that i chose this hostel. the location is perfect,it's so easy to access to popular spots around old quarter. After all,the owner welcomed me so warmly that he even helped me with booking a bus.

Location and service was good, but our room was not the best. We had paid for a bunk bed in the dorm room but instead got 2 beds in the attic which was right above the common area/lobby. This made it very loud and hard for us to sleep and the attic itself was very hot as there was no working ac. The bunk beds in the dorms might be better but I would not recommend the attic beds at all.

The photos is absolute nonsense. The place is horrible. The matras (you can’t even call it a matras) is 2 cm high. The bathroom is horrific, the drain is pushing up. They do not even put out enough toiletpaper. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

I will start with a good things - it is in city center and it is cheap. But aside of that it is a horror hostel. The pictures they present are fake or very old, there is no common area and on Booking they lie about having a bar - maybe they mean the frigde on the reception where they offer free soda for 5 star Google map review.

Good location, but that’s all that can be said. The room (I booked a private) was a bed on the floor with one working lightbulb, and the shared bathroom was NASTY - in a way that it’s obviously not because of the other guests but just that it’s grimy and really dirty. No pictures of the toilet because why would I want that in my gallery. I also tried to check in at 2 only to be asked to come back later TWICE. Quite disappointing, really. High reviews are probably because they give you a free drink if you show them a 5/5 review

Rooms and bathroom not good. Smelly bathrooms, not looked after, hard beds, not a social hostel. The staff are friendly and perfect location. Great rooftop. Lovely dog sits there.

The affordable price and convenient location are satisfactory, and the staff is friendly. However, I am disappointed with the room and bathroom. I understand that your business may be affected by Covid and economic downturn, but that doesn't mean customers should accept subpar experiences. Please enhance your services and refrain from engaging in fake reviews; this is not a sustainable approach. Thanks

A relaxed place , the epitome of Vietnamese culture , cheap room , great spot in a very secure and fun area in the old quater. Perfect place for people who just want to crash for the night and make some friends

This place is a dump. I was meant to check in at 3:00 pm and I arrived and was told to come back again at 5:30 pm as the room wasn’t ready. The guy working at reception then gave my room away to other people. I had booked a private room but he said to me he could give me a dorm room in another hostel at the same price. He told me that the hostel was full but then it turned out there was actually a room free in the hostel as he had messed up somebody else’s booking but because these people wouldn’t pay more money for the room that was free (which wasn’t what they booked either), he instead left it empty and proceeded to tell me the hostel was full. I didn’t end up staying here but I was actually glad because the place was filthy anyways. The toilets were disgusting. It was just a major hassle as it was new year and very difficult to find alternative accommodation. So avoid this place.

The affordable price, together with the greenery-filled interior, gave me a sense of luxury. The rooftop's view was the cherry on top.

The hostel is a great place in the middle of the chaotic Old Quarter. Despite being central, the hostel offers a quiet and comfortable place to rest and hangout with other travellers. The rooms are clean and well equipped with everything. Moreover, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, I felt that they cared for the costumers and their experience in Hanoi.

Our worst backpacker from our vietnam trip! Dirty and smelly toilets made me almost trow up. Receptionist was making fun of us when we asked for another blanket because the room was cold. The "private room" was a half floor above the reception with noisy wifi/power routers and offered little more privacy then sleeping in the reception itself. Due to the airflow in the holes of the "wall" the room temparature was the same as the outside temperature which might be OK during hotter day, but not in colder ones. With all the noise from the street and through the reception returning guests we didnt get much sleep. No towels. The pillows were full of hair from the previous visitor showing that they didnt bother changing cheets between guests. Even for the low price, the quality was below an acceptable backpacker level. No communication before arrival (no reply to our emails before arrival). Since you pay in advace, i recommend to check your room before the payment. The shared dorms might be better. If you can afford it, pay a bit more for a nicer place somewhere else.

Nice staff, very comfi beds. Unfortunately they don't change bedsheets when guests leave. They just dust them.

We arrived late and were starving, but the shops were closed. The staff pointed us to a nearby 24/7 food stall, making sure we didn't go to bed hungry.

You will blinkit and miss on the street / no big sign board/ it looks like a shabby place / though super cheap at 90k/night - though didn’t book here

A hidden gem in the heart of Hanoi's historic district. The natural elements and greenery inside create a refreshing and peaceful atmosphere.

Awful. Please respect yourself and look elsewhere. Slept with one eye open because owner made me so uncomfortable. May as well sleep on the street, less chance of being robbed. Also never received change after payment, wasn’t much money but it’s the principle that counts. You will regret staying here.

disgusting! filth and theft. I was warned when I saw the reviews but didn't think it was that bad. I'd rather sleep on the street than this hostel.

The only redeemable quality is the location. I booked a four-person room that they said was available , when I got there they told me they were using that as a storage room, so they put me on a 12-person room for the same price. Only one shower and toilet for a lot of people, so it is never clean. Many times there was no toilet paper and no one at recepcion you could ask for toilet paper to. If you write to them on WhatsApp to ask for toilet paper they don't reply. Hardest mattress I've ever slept in. Overall a bad experience.
