It was a pleasure to organize our 2 tours with this tour agency. It was effortless and we enjoyed every single moment, the views and the activities were amazing. We booked a tour to cruise Ha Long bay where we also got to see the Surprising Cave and the Ti Top island before heading back to Hanoi. Lunch buffet was included w the cruise as well as tea time before heading back. Food was nothing special but at least we did not have to worry about that, and the tea party was a plus🙃 Our second tour was to Ninh Binh and if the first tour was great this trip was amazing! Our highlights were the boat trip to Tam Coc as well as the views from Hang Mua Viewpoint, be prepared to do some steps😂 We enjoyed both of our tour guides, Jack accompanied us in Ha Long, cheerful and energetic, not a lot of details provided but overall we enjoyed the explanations whereas Hung who accompanied us in Ninh Binh (apologies if not spelled correctly) was amaziiing. Loved how he united the group, encouraged us to ask questions and how he offered the explanation (everything has a reason🥰). The bus taking us to Ninh Binh was a bit more luxury compared to the first trip to Ha Long. We would 💯book these tours again if we come back to beautiful Vietnam.

Amazing experience with THUY and family! Stumbled upon them on our first stroll in Hanoi and I must say how lucky were we, all our tours sorted out including meals, cruise, Halong Bay Visit, boat rides around, Danang Sightseeing Bana Hu, Coconut Farm, everything was A class with fluent spoken English guides, surely would recommend them!

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Tung, our names were mentioned on the board and we felt welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! The guide and tour was extremely good, very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that he deserves a special thanks. We had three great days in Hanoi and 2 days in Ho chi Minh city, which obviously also added up to the experience. Ninh binh tour and halong bay cruise stay in night was awesome experience. Perfectly planned itinerary and excellent food on cruise. Mr. Tung even upgraded the room for us. He treats his guests Fairly, friendly,and perfectly. He is keen to make the tour is organized. He is organized, and very punctual. The tour program was was scheduled well, was on time. We didn't miss anything during the tour program. He is very humorous. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price is great compare to the agency I research before coming here. They provide almost everything you need. And they speak English very well. Recommend for everyone who want to travel around Hanoi.

If anyone is ever going to Vietnam I would only and only suggest them Hanoi Old Quarter Travel for all of their bookings. I was in a lookout for HaLong bay cruise booking after landing in Hanoi and I came across them via google maps. Mr Tung patiently listened to all my needs and managed a very good cruise for me for the next day itself. It was my birthday so I wanted a very good and comfortable experience on the cruise and I was very happy and satisfied with the cruise that he gave me. They even surprised me with a cake and celebration at dinner. Then he also arranged a 2 day trip to Ninh Binh with transfers, stay and day tour. Finally arranged a private car to get back to the airport. All this at a very very reasonable price. I can vouch that nobody in Hanoi will give you such cheap packages with such a widespread network in different cities across Vietnam. He is very warm, welcoming and understands exactly what you want especially the needs of an Indian. He also recommended lots of places to eat as well as sight seeing, groceries, souvenir etc. Hands down THE BEST!! Highly highly recommend and without hesitation leave your entire trip to Mr Tung and his team and you won’t be disappointed.

This tour agency arranged a 3 day-2 night trip to Ninh Bih in December 2023. Everything was excellent. The agency suggested the most suitable hotel for us, transportation was great, all the tour guides that took us around at Ninh Bih were very professional. The overall experience was amazing. Thank you! The same agency also arranged a hotel for our stay in Hanoi and a car to take us to the airport. Everything was amazing and at great prices. Definitely recommended.

I was in Hanoi for a short time (3 days only) and Old Quarter Travel worked closely with me to come up with a plan that maximizes excitement! In such a short period of time, I visited SaPa, hiked the tallest mountain in Vietnam (Fansipan), hopped on a cruise around Halong bay, and joined a Jeep tour around Hanoi. The cruise itself was quite action packed (cave visit, swimming, kayaking, spring roll making, and a lot of good food/drinks). Old Quarter Travel was recommended to me by a friend who visited earlier, and I definitely extend this recommendation to future travelers.

Originally just wanted a trip to Halong Bay but after we went in we ended up booking a 2 week trip - Hanoi to Sapa to Halong to Ninh Binh to Hue to Hoi An. The trip was incredible and we managed to do more in the 2 weeks had with less budget than we could have imagined. You can book all types of day trips and short trips but our 3 week trip was fantastic, didn't have to think about anything the whole time as everything was organised for us and the team were always on hand via WhatsApp if we had any questions. Would definitely use again if we came back as it really was a VIP service.

We had a fantastic cruise at Halong Bay. From the day we booked it in the office, we got the warmest welcome from Dung. We had a really good price and everything was well explained to us , in a very friendly way. We had also a WhatsApp number to ask any questions at any time, which was super handy. Dung, the lovely tour operator at the agency organized everything for us: pick up bus in the morning from our hotel, with free water. 2 days, 1 night on “Calypso” 4 star boat. It was exactly like the picture, and better than promised! We got upgraded and had a beautiful room with a balcony. All the staff was super professional and efficient during our stay. We did some visits of cave, kayaking, swimming behind the boat, relaxed in a jacuzzi on top deck watching the sunset,… The food was delicious! We had 8 courses meals for lunch and dinner. And the views were of course stunning. And at the end, we also had a shuttle back to the hotel. We had the best time, and it was cheap and stress free :-)

I wish I had left my entire trip up to Thuy. I found Hanoi Old Quarter Travel when I landed in Hanoi and Thuy helped me with flights and transfers to Da Nang and the accommodation I had booked in Hoi An. She then arranged my flights/transfers back to Hanoi and a trip to Halong Bay (recommend 3 days/2 nights) plus gave me plenty of recommendations for good local food (especially vegetarian), massage spas and things to do. It really took the stress out of my Vietnam trip and I will definitely use Thuy to arrange more adventures when I come back. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We enjoyed a very pleasant trip to Halong Bay with the assistance of Thuy and Tùng. We were a little disappointed because we asked for a different seat on the boat—when all the seats in our section were not yet full—but were not given that option. It seems as if our bus guide felt that older people would only be interested in taking with other older people (and vice-versa). The longboat used for our trip around the bay was very good—neither luxurious nor primitive. Food was just okay but nothing to complain about. The views, the kayaking (we were charged extra but at the facility nobody was asked for evidence they had paid extra, so anybody was free to choose between boats whether they had paid extra or not) and the “Surprise Cave” were all superb. I would gladly make this trip again and would probably use “Hanoi Old Quarter Travel”. Thanks again for a great experience!

The best decision I made during my one month in Vietnam was to book my holiday with Tung at Hanoi Old Quarter Travel. I arrived in Hanoi with the plan to make my travel plans as I go, but as my first time traveling alone and a conteol freak, I think I was a bit too ambitious. Hanoi Old Quarter was down the road from my hotel and I popped in to ask about Ha Long Bay cruise prices. I instantly got along with Tung and together we planned my whole trip in Vietnam. There was no pressure and the trip was designed around what I wanted to do and my style of travel (a little more slow and relaxing). Tung organized all the logistics, accommodation, tours and travel including domestic flight and taxis. The cost of their service was very affordable. The whole trip has run so smoothly! It has been so helpful having contact with Tung. He will check in every few days and was extremely helpful when plans had to change. Nothing was stressful and Tung supported me through my whole trip. Took Tung' s recommendation to join Cruise The Halong Catamara. It was a good recommendation as the cruise was very comfortable, food was superb, staff were very friendly and of course we get to see the breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay. Excellent service, and flexibility for reasonable price. We came to get information on Halong Bay trip which we wanted to modify to stay one day on site. All has been perfectly organized together with very good hotel. When I needed a transfer to the airport I’ve just contacted the office and has been provided and a car has been scheduled for me for half of the taxi price. You can fully trust the office as you get fair price, reliable service, and recommendations which fit into your need.

Highly recommended for the hest reasons. She was fantastic, very accommodating. Just tell her what things you are interested in seeing and she can work up a whole trip for you. We ended up booking 3 different trips in different locations. She handles pick up and drop off for you everywhere, driver will wait for you if needed for hours. Prices are waaay better then online places. For the cost of 1 trip for 2 of us booking online, was the same we paid for 3 trips here. The tour was very well organized. The guy who helped us on whatsapp with booking and all the information was very patient and accommodating, trying to fit all our needs. The tour went smoothly without any problem, exactly as we established. The tour guide was very nice and friendly and the bus driver very experienced. We did Tam Coc tour that included the boat on a river for 1.5h, bicycle on the countryside and a short hike in the end for an amazing viewpoint. Even it was very sunny and hot, we’ve enjoyed the nature. I totally recommend this guys because they are very profesional.

We just went for enquiring about the halong bay trip at the travel agency but Mr Tung was so skillful in explaining the trips and arranging things according to our needs that we ended up booking ninh binh, bana hills trip along with bus, train and other transfers. We booked the Hia giang loop for 5 boys with Hanoi old quarter travel, and every part of the service was amazing. Truly amazing people who help wherever possible, and Shaq the owner has even helped us with the rest of our Vietnam trip with tips free of cost!
