exploded
&
the
rear
tire
was
damaged
due
to
road
construction
debris
on
the
Autobahn.
The
tire
store
couldn't
get
new
tires
for
5
days.
We
couldn't
wait
that
long
for
the
car
to
be
fixed.
Breakdown
Helpline
was
UNABLE
TO
REPLACE
THE
CAR
AFTER
2
DAYS.
THEY
STILL
SAID,
"We
are
working
on
it.
We
will
get
back
to
you."
They
didn't
get
back
to
us,
even
after
we
said
we
MUST
have
a
new
car
by
6/4.

were
desperate
for
a
new
car.
If
Budget
could
replace
the
car,
we
would
travel
2
hours
to
the
Frankfurt
Airport.
There
were
no
local
rental
cars
for
us.
Their
Helpline
said
they
would
contact
the
Frankfurt
Airport
Budget
(not
sure
how
hard
they
tried
to
email
&
call
them),
but
they
couldn't
reach
them.
They
said
they'd
keep
trying,
but
had
no
idea
if
FRA
would
have
a
car
for
us.
We
were
desperate
to
get
to
our
next
hotel.
WE
HAD
TO
HAVE
A
RENTAL
CAR
BY
3pm
on
6/4.
We
needed
to
drive
6
hours
south!
My
brother
drove
us
2
hours
to
the
Frankfurt
Airport
to
get
a
new
car.
The
FRA
Budget
counter
was
NOT
helpful.
The
agent
knew
nothing
about
us
needing
a
new
car.
She
said
she
could
NOT
replace
the
car.
She
wanted
us
to
take
all
our
luggage
&
ride
a
tram/shuttle
to
ANOTHER
AIRPORT
TERMINAL
TO
ASK
THE
OTHER
BUDGET
COUNTER
FOR
A
NEW
CAR.
No
one
at
the
helpline
said
there
were
2
different
Budget
counters!
She
had
cars,
but
she
had
no
paperwork
or
info
on
us
to
prove
we
needed
a
new
car.
WE
WERE
SO
SO
SO
DONE
DEALING
WITH
BUDGET!
WE
WERE
RUNNING
LATE
LEAVING
FOR
GARMISCH.
WE
NEEDED
TO
DRIVE

HOURS
SOUTH
TO
OUR
NEXT
DESTINATION
AND
COULDN'T
WAIT
ANY
LONGER
FOR
ANOTHER
CAR!
We
called
the
Breakdown
Hotline
&
told
them
to
cancel
the
Budget
rental.
The
Budget
counter
agent
couldn't
even
cancel
the
reservation
for
us!
SO
MANY
MANY
HOURS
OF
OUR
VACATION
WASTED
ON
THE
PHONE
WITH
BUDGET!
SO
MANY

AFTER
OUR
VACATION
WASTED
ON
THE
PHONE
AND
EMAILS
WITH
BUDGET!
We
went
to
Enterprise
Car
Rental
next
door
and
used
their
WONDERFUL
HELPFUL
AGENTS
to
finish
our
12
day
vacation.
They
saved
our
Germany
vacation
from
being
ruined.
We
paid
for
towing
ourselves.
The
Breakdown
Helpline
said
we
would
be
reimbursed.
We
have
NOT
been
reimbursed.
"Send
your
receipts
to
this
email
address..."

still
no
reply
to
my
emails
with
towing
receipts.
I
have
sent
multiple
emails
to
the
EVERY
different
email
address
the
Breakdown
Helpline
and
Budget
Customer
said
to
send
it
to.
I've
spent
hours
on
the
phone
on
multiple
long
distance
calls.

resolve
the
issue.
I
need
to
get
refunded
for
towing.
I
should
only
be
charged
for

rental
days.
I
was
supposed
to
have
the
car
for
12
days
and
be
charged
834.69€.
We

drove

credit
card
was
charged

No
invoice
was
sent
to
explain
the
bill.
Why
did
2
days
cost
so
much?
Was
I
billed
for
the
tires?
If
so,
I
need
the
invoice
to
file
the
claim
through
the
damage
insurance
I
purchased.
Budget
Customer
Service
today
says
we
should
get
refunded.
The
German
agent
was
helpful.
Several
budget
agents
have
been
very
helpful,
but
this
is
taking
forever!
He
said
he
will
correct
the
send
anew
invoice,
and
I
will
be
refunded
in
36
hours.
DON'T
RENT
FROM
BUDGET
IF
YOU
DON'T
WANT

HUGE
HEADACHE
AND
A
DIFFICULT
VACATION!

PART
