Beautiful, small and quiet cemetery. All graves appear to be beautifully maintained. Fresh flowers in all kinds of colors decorate the area. Various well-known people, such as Helmut Fischer and his wife, the Sedlmayr family, Bernd Eichinger, Helmut Dietl, as well as Erich Kästner found their final resting place here. A quiet and prayerful visit here is highly recommended.

The idyllic cemetery on Bogenhausen church square is worth visiting. Take tram 16 to MauerkircherstraĂźe (there is a nice place to stop for refreshments) and then walk up the mountain for a few minutes.

St. Georg is a small, pretty church in Munich Bogenhausen. There are many forged grave crosses in the small cemetery by the church. The chancel is protected by a grille. The church has been renovated several times.

Wonderful little baroque church on Bogenhausen church square, worth seeing, with a beautiful sculpture of St. George by Ignaz Straub from 1770 on the high altar. He leads believers to God. Equipped with beautiful frescoes on walls and ceilings. Surrounded by the Bogenhausen cemetery and accessible via Steinbacherstrasse. Reachable by tram and bus at the Baumkirchnerstrasse stop. Most of the time only the main entrance to the cemetery is open, the church is open, but except for church services, it is secured with a gate inside. Outside the cemetery, a monument commemorates the Jesuit Alfred Delp.

Some well-known personalities such as Helmut Fischer (the eternal Stenz), Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Walter Sedlmayr and the Munich original Liesl Karlstadt have found their final resting place in the cemetery behind the St. George Church.

Very beautiful and calm during the week. Partially crowded on sunny warm weekends. Inside amazing historic and interesting, the cementary is small but there are exceptional head stones and crosses and marvelous flowers on many graves. You find very popular names of at least 10 local celebrities (Helmut Fischer, Lisel Karlstadt, Erich Kästner, Walter Sedlmayr, ..) and even worldwide known names like Bernd Eichinger.

located on the right bank of the isar and the famous cemetry in the yard is well known for german artists. A big part of the building was not damaged during ww2 and kept its original baroque architecture since 1700'. The interior is similar to most of Munich churches and located in a very quite street with a small lake nearby.

Beautiful and well-preserved church in the center of Bogenhausen on the Bogenhausen village square. Attached is an idyllic little cemetery. The well-preserved church is also worth seeing inside and invites you to linger.

This church used to be much more beautiful inside. Well, that's a matter of taste. I liked it better with the paintings on the sides and ceiling. Now it looks a little emptier. I'll try to find old photos of it.

Très belle petite église baroque. Des célébrités, munichoises ou non, sont enterrées autour de l' église.

(Translated by Google) A really idyllic place this cemetery around the baroque gem. And the best goes on a journey of discovery and finds the graves of famous Munich residents. (Original) Ein wirklich idyllier Ort dieser Friedhof rund um das barocke Kleinod. Und das beste geht auf Entdeckungsreis und findet die Gräber berühmter Münchner.
