I really enjoyed the place I stayed for 3 nights the price was very cool the staff are very friendly and welcoming… the rooms are very detailed and clean WiFi was on point.. swimming pool was very neat and breakfast also was not bad … good guys at the car park to clean your Car for you at no fee.. I really enjoyed my stay I wish I can stay more but my trip was just for only 3days. Please kindly update your google map direction so it will be easy to drive from the map also management should try and consider the road, apart from that everything was perfect. Place to be when next I visit Kumasi for a business trip.

The hotel is filled with art with made my stay soothing and relaxing. The room was spacious and it had a balcony as well. The facilities contain a functional restaurant with makes delicious meals and has prompt responses. Their prices were fair as well. There's also a swimming pool. Not too big but a good enough size. They mentioned there was a gym but I never got to visit it. The hotel is quite a distance from town and that means it'll take you a while to get an Uber/cap. The road to the place wasn't good either. Also, the hotel doesn't have an elevator but they'll always be a staff ready to assist you with your luggage. The housekeeping staff are professional, kind and warm. They also made my stay worthwhile!

I love this hotel. Very reasonable price. The staff treat me like a king! Room is very clean! The bar open till midnight! Perfect for me. Emmanuel, the lifeguard.. Portia the bartender/ server... Benjamin the chef.... The housekeepers.... Jane and Comfort, the laundry girls.... This whole team here is awesome. They treat everybody that stays here like a king and a queen. I will always recommend Grand Star.. It's because of great leadership. I know a good hotel when I see one

This Hotel is one of the Best around Accra. The Experience here is awesome

Moderate car parking space,neat swimming pool and a very tidy environment with some Ghanians artistry designs on the various building. Really love the restaurant,kitchen and cleaners staff persona. The male attendance also were great. But some of the female receptionist attitude must be checked.

The road to the hotel is very bad, which will make you pay more for cab, but the hotel is neat, hospitality is second to none, free breakfast is great, I will recommend it for anyone.

Rooms are okay, well kept but the difference between the prizes only has to do with the size of the beds and not the other benefits or size of rooms. WiFi, really? It sucked. Very infrequent. Food taste doesn't match the price. Gh¢65 plate of chicken with jollof tastes no better than one sold by the roadside at Atomic Roundabout at ¢15. On a rainy day, dare not go there by foot, you may slip and have a deadly fall.

The hotel is nice 👌 room service is hospital and would rate their meals on a 5/10 aside that the road leading to the premises isn't so good 🤦‍♀️

It was my first time to visit Africa and my shuttle service was great from the airport ! I was so amazed by the Manger and how accommodating everyone was ,wifi was great hot water cable flat screen TV, breakfast was great every morning, the hotel was absolute gem ,the pool was great well kept ,lovey art through out , exceptional service, and the warm welcoming staff made my stay feel like a true home away from home. I can't say enough about the comfort and hospitality I experienced here. Thank you for making my visit so memorable. Can't wait to return 🥰 5 ⭐️

Services and facility is perfect, but the location is quite hard to access. Road network is bad.

Thr roads are a bit poor to there but very nice place and friendly staff

It's okay but the prices in Google need to be adjusted. We're informed rooms start from 211 cedis but travel websites online but were surprised that their standard room is now 350 cedis. I suspect this is the same for many hotels and because of the rapid currency depreciation. Be forewarned 😮‍💨

With a traditional touch it’s a comfortable and peaceful place away from Downtown hassle, very polite and cooperative staff and at a very very reasonable cost. But the approach roads needs full maintenance and asphalt carpeting

My second stay here did went so good a order a room for 2 travelers. When i got to the room 1 towel and 1 coffe and milo. Water for for 1 person even we book for 2 person When we went downstairs to get the free breakfast they demanded that we paid for the breakfast even the signboard clearly say WE OFFER free breakfast. The door to the hall makes alot of sounds when open. They did fix this on the last 2 weeks. So when you sleep you get wake up by the door every time have to go to their rooms. From my first stay here this price it is one of the best hotel i find. Pool. Restaurant on the hotel free wifi and breakfast

Their services are incredible… they will warm left over food for you for free… and bring it well arranged in a different plate. Their just the best.

Grand star hotel is the best place to have your vacation. Despite their Road is bad ,everyone there is lovely . They treat you as prince and princess Rooms are perfect, I sometimes imagine if they are trained before they are employed I will have my second vacation with my family Grand star💯

Nice Place to stay, good food and friendly staff.

Initially booked the hotel for a wedding due to proximity but extended the stay. Though not a fan of pools and gymns, the room, food service and the cool atmosphere were just everything for one desiring some good rest

Wifi connection aweful Often no water Matress hard as rock No frige in room and i was in the best.room they had 308 Old saying you get what you pay for should not be listed as 4star Staff very nice. Thats why you get 2 star

It is very clean and well stocked. Complimentary teas and coffees, lotions and soaps which is great.. the air conditioning and ceiling fan works great. However there was no hot water in the bathroom sink or shower in the room we stayed and the WiFi was extremely slow so we could not get any work done. The presentation of the place is great and the staff is very polite.

Very fast in searching for location

It was a nice experience to be in Ghana for vacation, lodging in Grand Star Hotel,Haasto, Accra, There I visited several places of interest like the University of Ghana, Legon, City Mall, Academic City University, and other places of interest. I also met very nice and honest People of Ghana and Nationals of other countries. May they all be richly blessed the more.

Good food, good customer service and a neat environment

While the roads are horrible and the WIFI could better, the service and cleanliness of the room supersede everything. The front desk personnel are exception, the guard is very nice, the rooms are clean, the food at the restaurant is really good and the waitresses are nice.

I just love their services a whole lot comfort at very affordable prices

Food is okay but hotel is not. Website is misleading, not as rosy as it looks. Too far from any shopping, attractions, roads are terrible, no WiFi (says free WiFi but you'll be lucky to connect). Water and electricity can be turned off at any time without warning or explanation. Customer service/relations non existent. Avoid like the plague.

Took the room that costs 300 cedis.... The washroom door was unable to lock. The bed was also noisy but apart from that the place was cool.

The rooms were clean, the staff was exceptional, they are friendly, and hospitable I loved my stay, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone, if you have been dreaming of an Africa trip and you want some where affordable and nice to stay then please try Grand star Hotel they have delicious food a wonderful swimming pool and awesome staff even security here is so awesome and helpful, you can take an Uber to Grand Star. The road gets a bit bumpy once you are close but don’t let that scare you, the drivers in Ghana know the way around if they want to take it and they never complain. The people of the town around Grand Star are so helpful and loving kind people, take normal precautions with high end cell phones , cameras , cash just as you would in any foreign country. if you are from America or UK leave a tip for the room cleaners and wait staff just as you would back home.

Great place with spacious rooms that are well kept n clean. Comfortable bed and had a lovely night sleep. Breakfast was delicious n staff were very nice n welcoming.👍

Good sized room and storage space. Well furnished. The dirt roads to the hotel needs work and service times from restaurant need improvement. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is not conducive due to poor roads, and there'sinadequate parking space on the premises. However, the have great rooms and services. The staff are polite and helpful.

I had issues with the air condition in my room so I decided to go for different room because where I was the AC wasn't blowing cold as it was supposed to be but when they took me to the other room it was same AC problem so had to come back to my old room and managed it till I left the place. I stay for 3 days and my biggest problem was the AC and how the water was supposed to flow through the shower and the sink was really poor. Smtimes there is no water running through both shower and the sink to used to brush yr teeth or wash yr face which was terrible 🤔.

It’s a cool Luxury place to stay for business or vacation trips. Amazing staff. You don’t pay to use the pool if you are staying at the hotel. No food allowed because there is a restaurant. The road to the hotel was terrible.
