Good Burger Place(Mini Burger). Great price and delicious. It’s not hidden Gem. You can order by online before you go there. You can skip the line. Hamburger, cheese, double cheese, please add grilled onion and pickle!

This restaurant appears to to operate as a well oiled machine. They are extremely busy, orders are not written down, just called out, and no mistakes. Amazing. Very small restaurant, but a lot of orders are take-out or ordered ahead. Basically a sliders and fries joint. For me, the sliders were tasty, but not much to them at all. On the other hand, my family loved them. The owners speak Spanish and English.

The better of the white manas. I had this and the Jersey city white mana recently and this one is much better imo. Better meat, onions and better buns. It may seem like a small difference but you’ll be able to taste the difference. Black and white milkshake is amazing too. Service was a bit slower on the shake but the burgers came out quick. Definitely a must at least once in your life.

This place has history and is a North Jersey classic!! NOT to be confused with the other place in Jersey City spelled w/one “N”. Voted THE BEST HAMBURGER in New Jersey for many years. DO NOT come here expecting fine dining… this is a dirty greasy place and we LOVE IT the way it is. Come here for the best burger in the USA.

Rather unassuming place with a constant flow of sliders coming off the grill. Enjoyed the experience and true diamond in the ruff. I was rather impressed how the woman grilling the burgers kept track of every order without any hesitation.

This is the place! If you want to experience a White Castle burger done right. Almost felt as if you travel in time to 1956. Even the prices feel according with that, "kinda". A little chaotic in the way they serve you and take your order, but it is worth it. The lady who makes the burgers is like a small Energizer Bunny, she keeps going and going! And people keep coming and coming. The burgers are done to the right point, juicy, nice, and hot. Get them with onions, ketchup, and pickles in the side. This burger will make you smile. The fries are done at the moment you order, they are hot, crispy outside, and soft inside. Definitively a place to come back, but is better to order to go, or to order in advance to avoid the chaos.

This is my first time trying out White Manna burger. Small restaurant, but one of the best burger joints in New Jersey. Fresh & juicy burger. Ordered the double cheeseburger & cheese fries. It's so good.

What more can be said about this true New Jersey hamburger icon? It's been here in Hackensack since 1946, and still serving up their unique touch on sliders today. Their sliders start with a small but bulky square of beef, then grilled over a bed of onions to a tasteful goodness. The menu is extremely limited, so anyone on the staff quickly becomes an expert on the White Manna way of preparing food. Seating is extremely limited, so try to plan your trip in during non rush hours. This way, you have a better chance at getting a seat quickly. Also, as with a number of other establishments, White Manna has its own signature manner of ordering food. The front man on the grill takes all the burger orders, while if you want fries or a drink, that is handled by the other staff in the back; they'll ask you if you want. Everyone here is as friendly and accommodating as can be, and all told, it's one unique experience.

A Hackensack/Bergen County/North Jersey staple. Easily the best sliders out there. Classic feel, since it very well could be from the 1930’s. The pictures say everything that needs to be said about how delicious the burgers are. Also a side note, you can get breakfast here if you’re early enough. AND if you pay them enough, you can get them to make you a double cheeseburger on a breakfast sandwich. Highly recommend going to this spot.

Not much more one can say about this institution. Delicious burgers cooked to order on the wee grill - tell the grill guy your burger orders - including cheese, onions, ketchup preferences - the drink person your drink order (shakes are bomb), the fry person your fries order, and hang out and wait your turn, because it's always busy. Two dozen seats, all with a good view of the grill, and super efficient setup. Pickup is a great option, especially since your car will smell of there wondrous burgers for days. For all this is stupidly cheap, still, too!

Burgers that live up to their reputation. If you're lucky, you'll find space to eat inside and it's quite the experience; the air is thick with the aroma of grilled beef and onions. The walls are decorated with memorabilia pertaining to the history of the place as well as the many awards that it has won. Best sliders you'll ever have in NJ.

A historical hamburger restaurant. I think this restaurant is a bit overrated. While it wasn't the best burger I've ever had, it wasn't the worst either. Service time is quite long. If you don't want to wait too long, I recommend placing your order by phone half an hour before you go there.

Old fashioned burger joint. I’ve been waiting to come here because I heard how good the burgers were. The customer service was eh, not awful, but could be better. The burger overall was good, but imo the patty needed some salt/pepper to bring out the flavor. It was also pretty greasy. The meat is tender and good and they use a Martin’s potato roll which is good. It reminds me of a White Castle Burger but lacking a little flavor, most of the flavor comes from the cheese. Overall the cheeseburger was a 7/10, could be higher if there was seasoning.

It's Definitely worth trying out. Small dining space, and you have to wait to be called upon. You could also order ahead of time to not wait so long. Burgers are great, so I suggest grabbing about 3 for yourself to start off with.

This place is legit! I've been coming here since I was a kid and I've always left happy. No matter who is working you get great service and great food. The area is SMALL. So you have to be patient with moving around. Don't be afraid to speak up and talk to everyone behind the counter. I cannot recommend this enough.

White Manna Burgers is, without a doubt, home to the best tasting burger I've ever had. This adorable diner, with only two locations, has stolen my heart and taste buds. Every time I find myself in New Jersey, a visit to White Manna Burgers is an absolute must. First off, the charm of this diner is undeniable. Its quaint and vintage appearance immediately transports you back in time. The retro-style decor, complete with a classic diner counter and cozy booths, adds to the overall ambiance. It's the kind of place that oozes nostalgia and makes you feel like you're part of a bygone era. Now, onto the star of the show: the burgers. White Manna Burgers has truly perfected the art of burger-making. From the first bite, I was blown away by the explosion of flavors. The patties are perfectly cooked, juicy, and incredibly flavorful. The combination of the soft, toasted buns, melted cheese, and the mouthwatering toppings creates a harmonious symphony of taste. What sets White Manna Burgers apart is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients. The freshness of the ingredients shines through in each bite, making every burger a delectable experience. The menu offers a variety of burger options, including classic cheeseburgers, bacon burgers, and even vegetarian options. There's something to satisfy every craving. The service at White Manna Burgers is always friendly and efficient. The staff is attentive, ensuring that your dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. Despite its popularity, the wait times are usually reasonable, but even if there is a line, it's well worth it. I cannot recommend White Manna Burgers enough. If you find yourself in New Jersey, do yourself a favor and make a stop at this charming diner. Prepare to indulge in the best tasting burger you'll ever have. White Manna Burgers has certainly won me over, and I'll be returning every time I'm in the area.

Excelente place for a delicious burger cheese. For all those hamburger lovers, this place is a great place to taste a hand made burger with good quality ingredients, fresh onions and fries and a soft bread, and don’t even ask about the meat, it is great juicy and extremely delicious!!! Loved the place and the service of the place, and of course the prices are totally at the pocket of everyone. The decoration inside and outside is the best also. 100% recommended !!!

The legends about this place are true. These burgers don't look like much but they are amazing. I would recommend ordering double cheeseburgers and skiping the fries. The doubles are definitely better than the singles. Place can get very busy. While sitting there eating, customers were ordering anywhere from 3 to 24 burgers at a time. I got there right when they opened and there was a steady flow of customers after me. This is a must try.

Greasy deliciousness!! Fries came out hot and the burgers get cooked in front of you. Thought the double cheeseburger were two patties rather it’s double the meat. Onions and pickles were a great topping. Really good solid burger spot!

White Manna. All I can say is that it is a Jersey Classic! Stopped in for lunch and could not have been happpier. Was it crowded? Yes.. Did I wait long.. Absolutely not! No doubt they have mastered the art of making burgers and serving customers. As you place your order, the cook takes your food order on how you want your burgers. There was no writing anything down and you hope thr order is correct as you move to the side and thr next order is taken. Not quite sure how the cook does it, but he nailed my order down and pretty sure everyone else's order as well. Whenever you walk into a crowded restaurant there is usually a reason. The crowds at White Manna are because of the great burgers they serve. Food was awesome and will be heading back. Only disappointment lies in myself for having had a license in New Jersey for some 32 years now and waiting this long before trying them. If you are a Jersey Foodie, this is a must stop on your next food tour.

Great experience. The meat needed more flavor, but I guess that's what the condiments are for. Pickles were great and crispy, a bit too thick for me to eat in a slider, but I enjoyed it on its own. The fries were perfect!!! Definitely recommend. Seating is in short supply, but that is part of the experience-diner vibe. Just wait your turn to sit is all and enjoy.

This a north New Jersey classic. Had never tried it till recently. It is a very small place with extremity limited parking. On top of this the place is very busy during peak hours. I was going to order on the spot but it was so packed and they had so many online orders that I actually went back in my car and ordered from the online site. This worked out well the site was very easy and pick up was actually very smooth. Highly recommend you order before you go. The food was very solid for the price. Got sliders fries and a shake. It was all very tasty. Overall good experience glad I checked it out.

White Manna’s Hackensack location (compared to the original Jersey City location) is by far superior. The building is tiny but there is seating inside at the counter and along the windows, but probably best gotten „to-go“ if you have claustrophobia. Personally, the small interior feels cozy, like I’ve time travelled, and adds to the experience of the meal. The staff is very friendly and they truly do an amazing job given the amount of customers and everything being cooked to order. White Manna is serving up tasty sliders (single or double/with or without cheese) on potato rolls, fries, and the perfect pickles (in my opinion). If you like onions, they’re a must. The burgers are not greasy at all and you’ll definitely regret only ordering one! You will undoubtedly pick up a scent of the grilling burgers and onions before you- but it’s completely worth it. A tip: if you like pickles you can get a cup to go, and they’re worth it!

Although it's a bit crowded, the antique and unique atmosphere makes me want to revisit. The food may not be fancy, but it's comforting, and the patties felt fresh.

  • 3/5 Anthony G. 1 year ago on Google
Burgers tasty, but not exceptional. To say it's chaotic in there is an understatement - there's all sorts of people crowded in a small space shouting to make orders, workers confirming the orders, people trying to pay, etc. The burger was overcooked and a bit too dry. Also it could have used more seasoning. The fries were underwhelming.

I've been going here for 25+years and it's always been great. Perfect for cravings. All of the reviews about poor service should be ignored! Anyone who has come here before should know "the system": The grill person handles only the burgers - order what you want correctly! "4 Singles with cheese and onion", for example. Don't make them ask about onions every time! The fry person handles fries. They often ask if you already ordered the burgers so you don't get them too early. As far as who goes next, veterans of the place know to ask other customers " did you order yet? ". The food is consistently good and well worth the often-long wait. Add your own S&P, hot sauce, ketchup, etc. Order ahead of you're in a rush. Parking is not great at all. I will be back for another 25 years, I hope.

If you like hamburgers and are in the Bergen county area, White Manna is a MUST. They’ve been grilling up these small but delicious burgers for years. Tiny family owned and run establishment that sells thousands of burgers a day. Be prepared to wait 15-20 min if it’s busy (which it usually is). Perfect burgers Perfect fries What an epic experience!

  • 5/5 Anushka J. 1 year ago on Google
Best cheese burgers (sliders) ever! This is such a unique place with super fast service even though they are always busy. Their crinkle cut fries are perfectly seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth. Also the prices are great! Truly an experience to dine in here

  • 5/5 John L. 2 years ago on Google
Rated Legendary by RoadFood.com, it fills the bill. Possibly the original slider, with great grilled onions. The fries are outstandingly crisp and fresh.

  • 4/5 Robert Scott L. 2 years ago on Google
Must stop for nostalgia alone but hard to beat the tastiness of those marvelous sliders and PICKLES! January 2021 visit so "VID" protocol was in place so call ahead and wait however long until they could fill your order. On the plus side, you weren't standing there in anticipation smelling all that goodness with the drool running down your cheek.

  • 4/5 Michael M. 1 year ago on Google
Had been living in Hacky for almost 3 years now and this is my first time going here. Moment you step in, you'd be intimidated with their fast paced order queue so before going in, figure out how many burgers you'd be getting. Two guys are taking orders and the person with the best humor would be asking for your burgers. Only burger to get would be double cheeseburger with extra onions and pickles. Fries person would ask you in around 5 minutes. Burger size and quality isn't comparable to the fast food ones. It's best for people who wants to sneak in a burger in their diet or doesn't want to die from diabetes or heart attack. Dining inside, appreciating the diner-esque ambiance of the 60s, surrounded by old young people on a Tuesday afternoon. Would definitely be back when I'm craving a burger.
