    I have been at Kaizen for 2 months now and it has been nothing short of amazing. The space is clean, modern and open which from the outset is inviting and not intimidating. An assessment was made of me, and I was assigned to be trained by Jennifer Reyes- she is absolutely excellent. I know this should be a review of the gym, but I HAVE to speak about my trainer. Jenn: unmatched professionalism, and highly motivational. There aren’t enough good words to describe. I have so much fun working out, that even when it gets hard I am still excited to go. She sees my weaknesses and works on them. She has been helping me uncover what my goals are, and we have been working to achieve them. She encouraged and motivated me to join group classes to help diversify my workout routine. Her personal training does not end there - she helps me track my nutrition, and checks on how well I have been sleeping, literally the whole package. She is also ALWAYS reading, and so you know she is not only up to date, but also using evidence based methods to help her clients achieve the best. Even though Jenn is my personal trainer, all the staff warmly greet and check in whenever I am in the gym. I am extremely happy to have found this new family and I highly, wholeheartedly, and unreservedly recommend them.

    This place is just a gem. Since I started with Chris, I’m down 30 lbs, and feeling great. Donny is a wonder with recovery work, and loosening muscles that you didn’t even know were impeding your fitness progress. And Brie and Jen? Don’t fall asleep on these ladies, because they will kick your butt with their workouts. Everyone here is fun, friendly, and highly knowledgeable, and even though your body gets put through it’s paces, your mind feels refreshed and invigorated. I recommend this gym to everyone who wants to develop and keep a healthy lifestyle.

    I recently completed Kaizen’s 8-week Transformation Challenge and what a great experience it was! Not only did I lose 4% body fat during that short amount of time, but I also became so much stronger in the process! The trainers were incredible! I attended most of the 5am classes with Jen—what a way to kick off my mornings. She found ways to motivate me—even while half asleep! I also had the pleasure of taking some classes with Kim—she sure knew how to push me— I was stronger than I thought! She challenged me to believe that I had the power to push thru heavier weights! Chris had dynamic energy during his power hour sessions that I attended. And Donny really helped me with mobility recommendations to do at home. Overall- they are a great group of trainers! In addition to the outstanding staff, their app made it simple to sign up for classes. It also had great meal options. While I didn’t utilize the meal tracking portion of the app much, there’s certainly value to it if used consistently. Kaizen gets a 👍🏽 from me! Check them out—they won’t disappoint!

    I’ve been going to Kaizen over six months now and I have nothing but great things to say about it. Chris (personal trainer) is phenomenal- he always pushes me to my limit in addition to tailoring our workouts to my needs. I injured my knee back in August and with the help of Chris and Donny- my knee injury is fully recovered. I would recommend KaiZen to anyone that’s looking for an intimate training experience. All the staff members are friendly and personable. The gym has all the basic equipments that you need to get the job done and is always kept clean.

    Kaizen focuses on personal training, rather than a typical gym structure. Their trainers helped me get back into high intensity workouts, but there are many other members with differing workouts goals. Every trainer is very friendly and will work with you to tailor workouts to meet your goals, while respecting any physical limitations. Kaizen is a great option whether you are looking to build muscle, lose weight, or be generally healthier, but need some extra guidance or accountability in your workouts

    I recently visited a friend in New Jersey and followed him to a drop in session at Kaizen. Travelling and staying fit is an arduous task but my friend assured me it would be worth it. I have major gym anxiety and from the moment I stepped in I felt so welcomed! It truly felt like a judgement free zone which immediately made me feel at ease. The gym itself was clean, well lit, with updated equipment and a variety of machines. Plus, a gym with such great attention to detail to have hair ties, deodorant spray and hygiene products in their bathrooms... sign me up! Now on to my friend's personal trainer Jen... what a gem! She has such a presence to her! She is respectful, powerful, encouraging, super personable and pleasant and will push you to be better in a way that makes you want to go back! She is also very knowledgeable about the body and nutrition and shares that knowledge to provide a tailored experience for you. 10/10. I hope my friend knows that a session with Jen is now a permanent fixture on my New Jersey calender!

    Kaizen Fitness is absolutely amazing. All of the trainers deliver well planned, challenging workout classes. Everyone has an uplifting, motivating spirit. I 10/10 recommend, Kaizen has been nothing but a great experience for me!

    I can’t recommend this place enough! I started going in July because I was stuck in a rut with my workout routine and wanted to try something new. Not even 2 months later, I am down 12 pounds and already seeing so much muscle definition. I take the 6am group classes with Jen and Chris - they are both amazing people and really keep you motivated the whole time. There is also an awesome community of people who attend the classes - and everyone has different levels of fitness/skills but the classes are built for everyone to succeed. I wish I found Kai Zen sooner!

    Literally the best gym ever!! From the clean facility, to the trainers, staff, and even the gym members. This gym has it all. My personal trainer Jen is great!! I am extremely happy with my results. All thanks to termendous amount of motivation from the Kaizen team!!

    Awesome! I did a group fitness class that was so much fun and really challenging! I work out a lot and was so happy with the knowledge of the trainers, the great music, and clean facility with great equipment. I came back for a personal training session with Bri that was fantastic! She gave me amazing tips!! I also just did a recovery session with Donny that was excellent! He helped alleviate chronic back tightness I had that was actually caused by tight muscles in my legs/hips - I had no idea that was the cause! He was so helpful!

    I’ve been training with Donny at KaiZen Fitness for 2 months now, & the experience has been enjoyable from the star. Donny has been a tremendous trainer and a positive impact for my fitness improvement. KaiZen provides the perfect setting for me to get after it with the uptempo workout that I’m accustomed to. Awesome ownership & staff, fantastic ambience. Highly recommended to any gym enthusiast.

    By far the best fitness facility I’ve ever visited and became a member of. For someone that loathes fitness and exercise, the staff makes my experience enjoyable each time I train. My personal trainer is Brianna. She’s knowledgeable, punctual, pleasant, and always challenges me beyond what I thought I could do. I appreciate the fact that members are there by appointment only as I typically hate crowded gyms. On a busy day, I’ll be there with 2-3 other ppl training with their coaches as well. This gives me the freedom to feel more comfortable and puts my mind at ease as we all consider social distancing. I’d recommend Kaizen to anyone that is interested in true growth and working with people that are invested in you.

    Chris has built an amazing program!! My husband and I were both in a fitness rut and joined Kaizen a few months ago. Chris and his team have completely transformed us, mentally and physically. They are very accommodating when it comes to scheduling, and you can tell how much they truly care about your success. I have been working with Jen, and she is absolutely phenomenal. I’ve worked with personal trainers in the past, but all of them paled in comparison to Jen! She pushes you to levels you didn’t know you could reach, while at the same time she is meticulous about teaching proper form. I could feel that all her slight adjustments were minimizing any joint strain while also ensuring that I get maximal results from the movements. I cannot recommend Kaizen and Jen more highly- give them a chance and you will not be disappointed!!

    I’ve been going to Kaizen for about 5 months and absolutely love everything about it! I work with Jen and Kim as personal trainers but everyone there is beyond amazing. I used to be someone who hated the thought of working out but thanks to Jen and Kim I grew to love the gym and am growing stronger and more confident! Jen and Kim are so knowledgeable of course in tailoring workouts but also with creating nutrition plans, making healthy habits, and always encouraging you!! The best part is the mentality of Kaizen and how it focuses on being the best version of you! Thank you guys <3

    Joined this gym about 2 months ago and I absolutely love it! The trainers are great at working with all different skill levels, really motivate you to work hard and are all just so kind. I also love that the gym creates a small community of other people who work out there.

    Kaizen fitness is the best ! My trainer Brie is amazing! She’s reliable , knowledgeable and easy going . She makes me feel super comfortable during all my sessions. She will work you out until you can’t no more in a good way . She makes sure you understand each movement and the reason behind it. The gym manager he is friendly and makes you feel part of the gym. The facility is super clean. I love being part of the fam 💪🏾💪🏾

    I was visiting Hackensack for a week. Jen invited me to check out the gym, as they had a one week free promotion. Even though I was only there for a week, Chris and his group welcomed me in. Their semi private classes are fun and challenging (good music to boot!). Chris provided modifications that were individualized. I would definitely recommend to anyone who lives in the area!

    Just finished Kaizen's 8 week challenge and I could not be happier. Their guidance and attention was nothing short from perfect. They listened to my concerns and adjusted the meal plans to my wants and needs to help me reach my goal at the end. The easy to follow recipes were delicious and got me out of my comfort zone (I was even able to get my picky eating kid to eat some veggies!). The semi private classes challenged me to exceed my limits and having the support from my trainers and team mates made every step of the way so much better. I look forward to continuing with Kaizen and reaching my fitness goals.

    Guillermo deserves all the stars!! What a wonderful human. He's been training me this year after I had my one year old. I hadn't been back in the gym since her birth and I'd never worked with a personal trainer before. Guillermo is such a sweetheart who will still push you to reveal your hidden potential. I'd come straight from work to the gym dog tired and somehow, G still would find a way to make me still give 💯 during our sessions. He's gifted in being able to balance structure and professionalism with compassion and kindness. I never feel judged or overlooked when I work with him. He's totally focused with the hawk eye on my form and posture and whenever I workout on my own, I still follow his guidance. I lucked up having him as my trainer. He's just awesome!

    It is so rare to walk into a gym and feel like you have been friends or family with everyone. They make you feel comfortable IMMEDIATELY. The training is exactly what I need, not only showing you what to do, but correcting your form. I sweat non-stop in these classes (I pretend it is fat leaving my body). I love that they are small in size, so it feels very personal. Everyone giving each other a fist bump at the end of class feels like mission accomplished. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    I am so glad to have found this place. I have been training with Jenn since I started 3 months ago and seeing results. Love her energy each and every time we meet and love how she pushes me to the limit. Chris is also amazing, kind and funny. I have yet to try one of his classes but from what I've seen he pushes your limits too. So whether you sign up for personal training or just attend the classes, you will get results.

    I love training here! I started coming earlier this year after not lifting consistently for all of 2022. The trainers have gotten me so much stronger!! I have taken Jen and Chris’s class most often and I find them very educational and fun. It is a very welcoming atmosphere. Always feel great leaving here - you should definitely check it out if you’re looking for a place to lift in a group setting or get personal training in the Hackensack area.

    Truly a great place to be. The trainers here are not only knowledgable about the ins and outs of fitness, but they are also amazing people who want the best for you. Regardless of what your fitness goal is, Kaizen will have you making strides in that direction from day one. Very grateful to be a part of this atmosphere that brings out the best in you mentally and physically. They will welcome you with open arms and seek out what works best for you.     I’m 67 years old and I thought I would never be able to work hard again but…. Thanks to Donny Drummond I know anything is possible!! Spoil yourself and get a training plan from one of the many great staff members working at this friendly, comfortable gym! The daytime belongs to us 😁. PS I’ve been here for a year and a half lost 20lbs and maintained my weight without changing my diet 👍😎

    I recently moved to Hackensack and was on a mission to find a place that could help me get in shape without making it feel like a struggle. Let me tell you, I hit the jackpot with Kaizen! The progress I've made in two months is mind blowing, and I can't help but rave about the awesome trainers there. The team at Kaizen are like a bunch of superheroes in gym gear. They're not just doing a job; they genuinely care about your journey. My trainer, Jen, is an absolute gem. She pushed me past all my mental and physical roadblocks. Now I'm lifting weights like it's no big deal. 💪🏼🥰 But it's not just about the workouts. Chris, another star at Kaizen, has been my meal plan guru. He's setup an amazing food plan system that makes eating right second nature. He has even helped swap out bad ingredients from my everyday meals to fit my goals. The Kaizen crew has made this fitness thing feel like a casual, everyday part of life. If you're on the lookout for a friendly and effective place to get in shape, Kaizen is the way to go.

    Been attending semi-private training sessions at Kaizen Fitness with Chris and Jen for over 2 months now. From the very first session it’s been nothing short of great. I’ve always had issues with staying consistent with working out but I look forward to the training sessions at Kaizen. They will push you and motivate you to give it your all to where you are feeling more confident with each workout and feel like you’re a step closer to your fitness goals! Very happy I found Kaizen!
