The Amul Carillon Chimes was established in the lush green campus of Institute of Rural Management Anand in December 2002. Cotton grey in color and 72 m tall, the Chimes tower is shaped like an inverted shehnai and commemorates the success of "White Revolution" in India. They serve as reminder of hope, aspiration and integrity and also the parting gift by "The Milkman", Dr. Verghese Kurien to the institute. The bells ringing out from the summit of the Carillion tower at IRMA sends out waves of hope, joy and inspiration.

It is quite an amazing place for us IRMAns. The kind of look we give to it at the starting of our IRMA life is something really unique. Every hour, it makes us realise the importance of time. For some of us, it works as a wake up call. The lighting in the night makes us fall for it again and again. Many meetings happen at this place and it cannot go unnoticed by the highest of authorities as it's just outside the main auditorium. At last, I would only say that chimes, we love you.😊

The source of innumerable IRMAn stories and conversations. This place is magical and worth visiting. A permission/approval may be required as the structure is erected inside Institute of Rural Management Anand’s Campus. An hourly rhythm playing Saare Jahaan se acha can be heard in the vicinity as played by the chimes.

The Amul Carillon Chimes is a tall tower inside the campus of the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA). It is a mesmerising beauty. Just to be in the presence of the ringing bells makes you appreciate every passing hour since the tower bells ring every hour in a very melodious tone. It really helps in keeping the students at IRMA on time for every activity as IRMA takes pride in the punctuality of their system. Every IRMAn definitely loves to watch the glowing tower at night while sitting on the lush green grasses and enjoying the beautiful breeze in the campus.

The first time you visit IRMA the Carillion Chimes greets you with the melodious 'Saare jahan se accha' telling you the significance of this place. For IRMAns, it's the first place you gather even before you get admissions in IRMA and the last place to congregate before you leave. This place has lots of memories preserved.
