Meal: Lunch Day Visited: Saturday Budget: ¥2,000 Closest Station: Roppongi Reservation Needed?: No Payment: Cash; Credit; E-Payment Kid Friendly?: Yes English Menu?: Yes I’m a big believer in promoting good Mexican food restaurants in Japan. We don’t have enough of this wonderful style of food in this country! Unfortunately, I found my Classic Chicken Burrito and beef tacos to be fairly average (perhaps decent for Mexican food in Japan, but a bit disappointing). On the good side, the portions are generous. One grande burrito is more than enough for a hungry person (think Chipotle-sized burrito!). Impressive. Prices were also ok, particularly when you consider the location. Service was quick, if not super engaging. On the “needs improvement” side, my burrito was poorly constructed, collapsing after one bite and very difficult to eat. The green salsa - normally lush with flavor - was bland, as were the proteins. The seasoning, overall needs work. I can understand toning down the flavors a bit for the Japanese pallet, I just didn’t feel like either of my dishes had much flavor at all. Needs some work, but there is potential here.

For any Americans, this place is very similar to Chipotle. You tell the employee what exactly you want and they create your meal for you in front of you. They have a decent selection of ingredients to select from, as well as vegetarian options. The seating area inside is not that wide, but they have outside seating available.

Great little burrito chain in Tokyo. The grilled chicken spices are wonderful, as are the carnitas and beef options. They have branched out into side dishes (nachos, soups, quesadillas, etc) all with solid flavor and quality

It's basically Chipotle but not as flavorful. The burrito was generously stuffed full but it didn't have a rich flavor. It was a little disappointing. The free hot sauce bottles made it better but I wish the meat and beans were already seasoned.

Customizeable burrito/taco/burritobowls! I went with the carnitas which I found a tad lackluster - next time I'll try chicken. Pretty good - servings were generous and the guac was creamy. I like that you can get black and pinto beans, and the spicy salsa has some kick to it! I thought the price was fair for what you get. I wouldn't come to Roppongi just to eat here, but if you happen to be in the area then give it a try. The staff speak English and Japanese.

Food was ok but service was horrible. Staff were not kind when the machine broke and I could not receive my change, or when they got my order wrong. Did not enjoy eating there, felt very unwelcomed.

If you something that resembles chipotle, this is the place for you. Flavor is a little different than chipotle, but the ingredient quality is good.

The salad was very good. I enjoyed it. My husband and son liked their burritos. Gave less stars due to lack of service. The man kind of acted as we were a bother to make our food.

Fast Food Mexican located near Roppongi Hills. Fast and friendly service. Menu was in Japanese and English. Outside and I side seating with blankets for outside. Very chill spot to grab lunch or dinner Chipotle vibes if you’re from the US

Good concept “make your own taco/burrito” , but really surprising for Japan , service is bad

A decent place for tex mex style lunch. There's a lot to be desired in the way they make their burrito. The tastes are basic and lack flavor and it's not mixed at all so you don't get a good balance of the ingredients when taking a bite. I've had better, even in Japan. Overall decent place

The food amount is indeed satisfactory and you can select what to fill in your burrito order. Vegetarian options are available. I must say the food price is also reasonable, but the drinks are a bit pricey compared with their jihanki (自販機) price. The store is also easy to locate though it is not on the main road.

Best tacos!!! I prefer this location over Ebisu! The staff at Roppongi are very nice and make the tacos with care. The margaritas are amazing as well! #1 stop for quick delicious TexMex!

I felt the ordering system here is a bit confusing and one person ordering for everyone at the table would possibly create a mess. They have an assembly line sort of a system. When I tried to order for both my friend and myself, it got confusing for me although we had only two items. We had ordered a chicken burrito, vegan/vegetarian tacos and plain nachos. Nachos are not made at the assembly area so that was easy. For the veggie tacos, the person making it, skipped step 1. Beans, rice etc and when I asked if she would put them she possibly said something along the lines of they don't put beans in Tacos. The menu did not clearly state that. The veggie tacos had just mashed avocados as the base ingredient and rest all was just sauces and cheese. The covering was undercooked tortilla, and the tacos were cold and very bland. None of the sauces were flavourful. My friend didn't like their chicken burrito either. They said the chicken was not seasoned at all. Both the items would have tasted a tad bit better had the tortilla been toasted lightly. The nachos were basic too. The price did not justify the quality of the food. Around 3000 yen for three items. The seating area is quite congested too. Some of the staff was kind and polite. However, I would not recommend this place if you're looking for Mexican food.

Even after living in Tokyo for 3 years, this is still my favorite burrito place in Japan! 🎉🌯 Down their App & Hills Point App if you are a local ~ Great outdoor seats! Perfect for a meal with friends or a bite to go! Recommendation: Burrito with whole wheat tortilla & get all the toppings! Half Carnitas and guac is the perfect combo 🥑🐷

The spicy carnitas burrito meat was dry and tough to crew

The store is located relatively close to the Roppongi station which made my visit very convenient. If you've been to Chipotle store in the States (not sure if Chipotle is available outside of United States) the ordering method is very similar so it was very easy. The staffs are friendly and it seemed like they knew what they were doing. The price was about right for being in Japan (I ordered large Burrito with guacamole and a N/A drink and the total came to about 2000JPY). If you are stuck in Japan for whatever reason, and you need a quick burrito fix, I'll recommend this place to you. They apparently have two other locations in Tokyo, but I can't guarantee it'll be the same experience. At least for Roppongi, they're used to seeing and interacting with foreigners. Enjoy!

I recommend to take rice bowls. The large size was actually pretty big (at least for me). Spicy red chili is not so spicy at all
