Triund trek : It is a little difficult for a person who's trying it for the first time . For me this was my first trek . The Triund top view is aaaamazzzingggg . It is a 9km trek . The climbing time varies from person to person , it took me 8-9 hrs to just climb . It was great , the view was worth it . And a little advice i would like to give is that carry as much as light weight /bag as possible. And carry glucose packet , and a good jacket , because the nights are way tooooo cold up above there .

Great place for day hikes and camping. After the camping ban of 2018, you cannot camp on Triund but 200-600m below triund top. The trek is Beginner to Moderate. From Gallu Devi temple it's 7km. The first 3.5km (Till Half Point Cafe) is easy, but after that has some steep climbs and is very rocky. Can be covered in 2.5 - 5 hours maximum. Advisable to take a taxi from Mcleodganj to Gallu Devi temple (4km) rather than trekking as you'll save your energy for the real trek. Taxi takes Rs 500 (Don't let them overcharge you, I took one on 14th October 2021). If possible, better trek in the morning to Triund and then to Laka Glacier after a 2 hour stopover at Triund. Its 5km to the campsite at Laka (Dhauladhar Cafe). In between you can stop at snowline Cafe which is 3-3.5km from Triund. Stay overnight in camps provided at Laka Glacier. You can go to Indrahar Pass the next day which is 6km steep and moderate - difficult trek, spend 45mins there and come back again to laka glacier camp site. P.S. DO NOT FORGET SUNSCREEN. I did, though I didn't get sunburn but got a bad tan.

Beginner level trek but with breathtaking views. Just remember to trek up taking proper rest and try to stay overnight at the top for mesmerizing sunset and sunrise scenes. Tents and all required stuffs are available on the top but there is no washroom available, neither on the way nor on top so dress accordingly and prepare well. Keep following your intuitions and you are good to go. Also, it's completely safe for girl solo traveller. Highly recommend this trekπŸ˜ƒ

I went solo without guide I had tent food with me so, no problem It is really worth the view of Himalayas The mountains are little dirty because of humans throwing plastic papers So, I cleaned all the dust from mountains and throughed into proper dustbin in daramshala Regards, Instagram, you tube- travel like crow

No toilets here n no water....Feel free to go anywhere in the open... Make due arrangements yourself as only mineral water is there ! Also everything is real expensive try to carry as much food ( maggie 80β‚Ή) & water( 50β‚Ή) possible!! Also it's so beautiful and worth it 😍

Nice & friendly people. You can't expect luxury in such places, but you do get all the essentials. Good food, decent place to stay, blankets, tea, coffee etc. All in all, a good option for staying there. Special thanks to Manu & Lucky.

Worth climbing that mountain! It's adventures and challenging. Do not go there if you do not have the stamina to reach top floor of 20th story building, it is way more difficult than that! Anyway you'll enjoy the view!

Lovely view from the top. Trekked a day after fresh snowfall, the entire Triund top was covered in a snow blanket. Did the trek independently, in a songke day. Rocky terrain - carry shoes accordingly. One of the easier treks of Himachal, offers a lovely view of the Dhauladhars (I missed due to cloud cover).

Trekking to Tirund was a wonderful experience. I went with my friends here. We all completely fell in love with this place . For some of us, it was our first trekking experience and we enjoyed it so much that now we want to go on for more such experiences .

Amazing experience at triund top, 8-9 tents and 5-6 rooms are available, night gets cold as temperature drops down. Comfortable stay but there are no facilities no washroom.

Very pathetic experience I have ever had. There was only one service provider for 18 people and couldn’t handle anything so he was shouting and behaving very rudely to everyone. We went there in December and it was very cold. We literally begged him for extra blankets. He was very inconsiderate and very inhospitable person who would left someone in the severe cold.

It was a very nice experience to visit Triund. Trek is little rough as it has no proper fencing available and no proper approach available. Complete way is full of stones and boulders. So be careful while you trek. we started our trek from GALLU TEMPLE and it was about 6-6.5km and took 3.5hrs. The view from Top is so nice as you will witness the mighty dhauladhar range very close to you. We stayed their during first week of November on a tent house Night temperature dropped to -1 "C . so be prepared to face such climate. So take on extra blanket with you along with Sleeping bag.

This is a place for trekkers who want to see beautiful sunset and sunrise. The experience is to be remembered and you can stop at photo points and tea points to see the view from the top. You can get camps and accommodation to stay at night.

This trip was amazing because of you. what a generous host you are! Your warm hospitality made our stay a pleasure.Β You didn’t think twice about providing whatever we needed to be comfortable, even to your detriment.

I booked this camp by directly calling the mobile number I found online. It costed me 900rs (FYI: This was their off-season price). I found multiple people while treking who booked the camp much late and even then they got it in much cheaper rate. So don't forget to bargain. Amenities are very basic. I get that no one can provide proper washroom at such height but at least there should be some tent or something where people can release themselves without going here and there. Food was also below par. Rajma chawal, no chapati not other sabji. In the breakfast, you will only get Maggi or Omelette.

β€œWithout new experiences, something inside of us sleeps. Triund is at foot of Dhauladhar ranges at altitude of 2850m . One day trekkers should start trek early morning so they can enjoy sunset on the way coming down

It was a great experience. The view of the Dhauladhar range is absolutely healing. Gladly the time we visited camping was not allowed and we were fortunate to find an accomodation at the ridge. The treck to Triund was quite easy. One must visit.

The calmness and serenity of this place hits you to the core. Starting from the check-point its a trek of around 2-4 hours depending on your stamina and on way you'll notice breathtaking beauty of the hills and curves and sheeps and small shops. The campsite is wonderful amidst the natural beauty.

A good hike to go for if you're in and around McLeod. The start point for the trek is Gallu Temple for which you can easily find a cab from the Main Square.

I had an amazing time camping at triund top with my friends. This is Real camp which is situated at the top of triund. Organizer lucky was quick enough to confirm the booking and arrange taxi to reach starting point. He has provided clear instructions. We started from gallu temple, took around 4 hours to reach the top with moderate speed and a few breaks. The trek was challenging but rewarding, with stunning views of the mountains and the valley. The camping site was good and well-maintained, Decent room for a group equipped bed and with blankets. Food provided by the staff was good. They also have tents. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they arranged a bonfire for us at night. We enjoyed the starry sky and the peaceful atmosphere. It was a memorable trip that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an adventure in nature.

It takes grit and patience to reach the top. 4hrs of non stop trekking uphill with the top view always looking distant and far, is no joke. But when you reach thr you feel a sense of achievement and proud of yourself that you could make it. The path has lot of boulders and rocks but the trek is not tiring physically. It is more tiring mentally because of non stop walk. The climb becomes steaper and slippery as you inch closer to the summit due to ice and vertical height. The top view is the closest you can see the himalayas( for beginners). of course, there are much higher peaks to get closer view of the himalayas. Do not miss this if you are in Dharamshala. It's an adventure.

Awesome place....budget friendly camping and food... Sleeping bags are quite protective for that chill cold...beautiful view from the top....can experience snowfall in winters...you can take snacks and drinks with you...prices increase with heights..

Great experience climbing triund ! At the top campsite the sleeping bags aren't very good and they don't give anything blanket apart from the sleeping bag. At magic view cafe while climbing red bull sells for 500. But while getting down the same shop gives it for 150.
