Walked over from our hotel while caught in Frankfurt due to flight problems/cancellations, and were very glad we did. Wonderful atmosphere and crowd along the river (with a great porch to sit on), excellent food (we got schnitzel and spaetzle), and good beer. No English-language menus were telling, as this was a bright spot of local community culture that we would gladly return to. It brightened an otherwise hard travel day.

The food here was very good. We didn't have a reservation but were able to be seated as long as we were gone before the table was reserved. I would recommend having a reservation before coming here to ensure seating is available--the place filled up rather quickly once they opened for business. I had a mushroom cheeseburger. It was HUGE. Two normal people could eat this hamburger and come away full. This is one of the few places I've found that have an American-style hamburger that actually is like the hamburgers that are serves in the U.S. The bun was a standard German bun (not bad) but this was the only real difference. The fries were also thick cut and they brought out ketchup and mayo instead of giving a single packet as is normal in Europe. The cheese noodles (a German specialty) were also good, and very filling. My wife had to take 1/2 her portion home because she couldn't finish them. They are not exactly made in the traditional German fashion but rather have a restaurant-specific twist. Overall, this restaurant is worth visiting. It's near the water, has plenty of parking available and you can go for a walk directly after you're done eating (if you're so inclined). The bathrooms are also clean and in good condition.

Typical German restaurant suitable for business dinners. Be careful because the English and German menus are not synchronised. Ask for a dish of the a day normally they have a typical German dish and a fish. We also ate best strawberry creme soup ever tasted. The place is not pricy and the quality of the food is averaged and consistent with pricing. The place is not accessible to the people who are using wheelchair. The tolies are nice and clean. In night time place has also a club with lap dancers. Have fun exploring the area.

Super cozy location close to the river Main. Plenty of parking available. Seasonal menu, focusing on local products - Prices for dishes are very reasonable, Portion seize is great... dishes are very tasty - simply delicious, presented with modern twist and staff is super welcoming and friendly.

Had dinner here in Oct 2022 with one of my cousins when I was visiting Frankfurt and other family. Excellent food , great service , great prices. Friendly people & atmosphere.

Nice place, with good food, quiet and nice people. Meat and fish are accurately cooked and served. Desserts are excellent, especially the chocolate cake! Waiters speak English and do their best to make customers happy.

Ok, this place is incredible. We came in for dinner while the world cup was on TV, and our main goal was to experience German culture outside of the typical touristy towns and cities. We were not disappointed; the hosts were incredibly warm and informative of the menu, the food was spectacular, we ate a schnitzel and a pork roast that was the best in the region. Spirits, wines, and beers were also the typical local traditions, and very tasty. The location was also charming, in front of a little park and the Main river. If you are in Frankfurt and want to experience the local dining scene for suburban Germany, try this place out! You will love it.
