Great place to try Hungarian food. We had no expectations at all. We had an English-speaking waiter who understood what “gluten-free” means and the importance of it for a celiac person. 👍 The food was tasty! I would certainly recommend this place to all my friends!

I was vomiting the night after I ate here. For a 5000 HUF food this shouldnt happen. And adding 10% without asking for it is disgusting. If I want to give you tips, I will. Don’t force my hand.

Looking at the 1* reviews I really can't understand why would people award such rating...in this restaurant, even if you would expect "fine dining" (which you wouldn't from a rustic INN serving traditional food!) You simply can't rate the food like that! For me and for MY taste, this restaurant is one of the best I have been in on Hungarian soil, and is very representative for the Hungarian Cuisine. Very tasty food, served in generous potions (basically you can't eat everything on your plate), by very friendly waiters...everything is just as it should be in a local traditional restaurant. I served dinner here on 3 different occasions, had different courses every time and every single one was as tasty as the other. Only good words for this restaurant!

The waiter had an attitude and almost shirtless (??)but in the end he was okay. The food arrived suspiciously fast (13 minutes?!?) although our group ordered 8 meals, food tasted good but my meal was not seasoned really well. I have to give a 3/5 because of the waiter and the cold food.

Friendly staff, even though we spoke very little Hungarian; as one of the oldest restaurants in Hajduszoboszlo they're used to tourists I guess. Menu is multilingual, not so many items but with fast serving. Food was really good. Prices are above average, be prepared to pay premium. Location is very central, so there's that.

We had the perfect stay in Hajdúszoboszló at the Csárda Panzió, but mostly because of the experience we had with Ricsi our waiter and the fantastic Hungarian food prepared. He offered the most hospitable service, with friendly approach, good humour, very attentive care, and the perfect perosnal touches. The place offers everything and are accommodating to picky needs. Highly recommended, thanks! P.s. the breakfast was also fantastic 😍

We came for some lunch. Then we were ignored by waiter for 10 minutes and had to go to another place.

Expensive and even the french fries are unfreezed not fresh! The gulas soup is with beef full of fat and bones!

Amazing garlic soup, friendly waiter and the steak was epic. Will definitely come again for the garlic soup!

The "piroska" brand doesn't qualify as homemade lemonade. Poor vegetarian/non-pork selection.

Traditional built and designed restaurant, with typical Hungarian touch. Food was great, service was fast, and the venue is a little bit expensive, but it is worth it.

Great variety of Hungarian traditional amazing dishes. A place that you need to visit if you are in Hajdúszoboszló. Each night live traditional music! Sad that they don't have pacalpörkölt :(

Surprisingly good food, I was a bit surprised by the fact that restaurant which is locatated in touristic zone put that much effort in quality of food. There were nice Hungarian muscians who play traditional songs, and also instrumental versions of popular music. I would really advise people to visit this place, waiters are polite and helpful.

I can only rate the restaurant, which is part of Kemencés Csárda (my rating is not applicable to rooms or stay overnight). The place is amazing. Great food (goulash soup made the whole group go silent for the time of eating and you could only hear spoons scretching on the metal pots), interesting design - feels very rural but also a bit at home. Good beer. Waiters and waitresses can speak in many languages so it is easy to communciate. I will definitely go again (and it was not my first time there).

It was a very nice experience! We were 8 and the restaurant was full but somehow someone manage to get us a 12 person table. I took a classic Gulaș and I think it was the best Gulaș i have ever ate. The prices were acceptable. The music and the atmosphere was cozy and we will came back soon, for sure.
