Super dope food place! The treats were amazing. I was surprised to see a breakfast and food menu that looked amazing as well. Plus, they have fancy drinks. There are a few across the island and this one is nestled in a shopping plaza in Haleiwa! I got the ginger pear and frosted flakes. Both flavors were amazing on their own and even better together! There are too many different flavors and they rotate! Masks are required and there is outdoor seating. It was well worth the 30 minute drive to get there! It's a bit expensive, but its Hawaii and you get what you pay for! I'll be back!

Had the lilikoi cheesecake that was a little tart and refreshing. The macadamia but was nutty and had a great macadamia nut flavor. Baby cone topping is cute

I had the best gelato...EVER!!! The employees were very friendly and treated me more like family than a customer. I am visiting family and am from Kentucky. The cafe was warm and welcoming. I sure would love to have Jacinda open a cafe near me! I look forward to my next visit...IL Gelato Cafe will be on the top of my list to visit. BTW - I had the Lemon (w/basil) and Mango...

The dragon fruit sorbet is my all time favorite! Lots of refreshing juices, smoothies, and delicious crepes. Mickey and Karley were very helpful and kind! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re on the north shore.

the food and service are amazing. me and my cousins favorite is the amazing acai smoothie and it’s so good, I would recommend. the ice cream flavors are delicious and the service are so nice! would go again

Absolutely delicious! Such a nice treat after a beach day! I tried the Kona coffee & dark chocolate, and my husband had the dragon fruit and watermelon lime, and we loved every flavor. Would definitely recommend!

I loved the ambiance! I highly recommend this area for a date. I got watermelon lime and biscotti Gelato, which were dang phenomenal! My husband's crepe was also amazing. The girl who served us was SUPER sweet and upbeat- the best. Very good service!

Good place to grab some dessert after dinner at one of the many restaurants at this mall. They have a good selection of Italian ice cream including some unique island themed flavors.

This place was good until after renovation and new staff. The cooking of breakfast items are not up to the standard precision that existed before hand; in addition, components that often arrive with a breakfast crepe were missing. Waffles are undercooked and flat, and the whipped cream is flavorless. Gelato Scoops are a lot smaller than before, sometimes already on the melting end which is odd, this all in addition to price increase. Perhaps in the intent to make back what was spent on renovation, efforts should be dispersed instead on developing quality control to reanimate the standard through better training methods and firm expectancies. As well as increase persons to cooking stations when there is more than one order per customer.

3.5/5 for me. The flavors were either overpowering (strawberry lemonade) or underwhelming (coconut). It’s $7 for 2 scoops, $8 for 3 and so on and so forth. It was alright, don’t know if I would come back.

IL Gelato Hawaii in North Shore Haleiwa is a must-visit spot! I was blown away by their new renovation! The shop has a modern and chic look, and it's clear that a lot of thought and care went into the design. The gelato flavors are out of this world. The staff is friendly and helpful, too. Five stars!

My daughter was looking for these amazing bowls and this place was perfect! Environment was fun and staff was great! Great little stop!

Found a piece of plastic in my ice cream. Went back inside and was met with a less than apologetic employee who told me “oh it’s from the wrapping, it happens a lot” - If it happens a lot, why is nothing being done about it? I was offered another free scoop of ice cream - it is just that at that point I had no desire even eating the original “left over” ice cream. They should have given me a full refund! Never again!

I love that they have several dairy-free options of sorbetto! The waffle cone is very good as well. Only downside is the price.

The mango sorbet is to die for! Probably should have opted for two scoops of the mango, but the dark Giardina was yummy as well. Good stop for a sweet treat!

AMAZING gelato!!! I sampled a few different flavors and they were all really good! However, the ube cookies and cream is to die for!!! Also, the employees are really friendly and go above and beyond with customer service. We will definitely be back!! 🤙🏼

This place has the most amazing waffles I've ever tasted! I recommend the Crispy Bacon waffles with two eggs. Absolutely delicious! Not sure what the bad customer service reviews are all about, I came here on five or so different occasions during my stay and encountered at least three different staff. They were all super friendly! I'm British, so I stick out here like a sore thumb, but they always made me feel welcome :) I also had the rootbeer float, mango smoothie and Belgium Waffles. All delicious!

I'm glad I chose to stop here. I really enjoyed their ice cream. Nice people. They let me try as many as I wanted to decide. Great experience!

Probably the best place I have found to enjoy Gelato in a convenient location. The Cafe is located in the middle of the shop area with several high traffic locations near by so parking can be a challenge. During my last visit I had Chocolate Macadamia nut flavor which was delicious however there were multiple other flavors I would have enjoyed. Definitely an alternative to regular ice cream. Service was fast and efficient. When visiting places like Haleiwa the trick is to get to know the town and try just two places during a visit to keep a variety in your choices and never grow old of the same thing.
