Was a quick stop in for dinner. I got the triple chicken salad with bacon on rye. It comes with fries, coleslaw and a pickle spear. . Top marks on the sandwich. Chicken salad with bacon was killer. Coleslaw was great (though dang tiny) and tons of perfectly cooked fries. Pickle was a weak kosher garlic dill. Crunchy skin, good flavor but kind of bland. . Waitress was a total peach. friendly and sassy in all the right ways! Lol We go there every couple weeks. It's a cozy friendly diner so we enjoy it tons.

We had this waitress, older with dark hair. Not only was she rude with her responses, but we were able to hear her talk about us to a coworker. As a place that has very good food that I’ve gone to a few times, I wouldn’t prefer this waitress.

Basic place in a small town. Excellent service. Food okay. Dining room comfy.

Hashbrowns were amazing! Bacon was very good (I always ask for well done). The real issue was the French toast..... bread was good, but just didn't have much flavor (there was barely any cinnamon on it). All in all, I was happy, but could have been very happy!

Food: the French Toast were great. The home fries were way to crispy when chewing, shaped as slices, possibly over cooked, they were not the usual softer chunky style. I won't order them again if still offered as slices. Service: our waitress was great, and dressed professionally. Atmosphere: the air conditioning worked really well, yet made it chilly, which in turned quickly cooled off the hot meal. ***Of note: just ordering 2 eggs will cost you over $6.50.

Terrible experience with Mealeo. Food took around 2 hours. Mealeo support was extremely unprofessional and hung up on me twice while I was trying to get order updates. The second time they were badmouthing Halfmoon Diner and their staff and blaming them for everything. When they were done with their rant I said "Are you serious?" and they hung up on me again. Halfmoon diner offered to remake the food and said it would take 5 minutes. But Mealeo said they could not make their driver wait 5 minutes and sent him away. I had to wait 45 minutes more for my food because Mealeo got impatient and had to dispatch a different driver. I asked for a refund of just the delivery fee (nevermind me 20% tip) so I could pick up the food myself which would've been 40 minutes faster, but Mealeo refused, saying no refund would come out of Mealeo's end and I would need to call Halfmoon Diner for any refund. Mealeo provided negative value in this transaction. They wasted my time and acted unprofessionally and badmouthed the restaurant and staff who I now respect a lot more than Mealeo. I'll pick up my own food going forward and restore my faith in this restaurant. Never ordering through Mealeo again and this restaurant should know that Mealeo's support staff has no respect for you.

Place was nice however not all their portions match their prices. I know cost has gone up but it was like got half a sub roll cut in half for steak sandwich. Waiter never came asked us if everything was ok or if we needed anything.
