Quiet modern hotel with all the amenities. Very clean and well maintained. Offers continental breakfast with your stay. They would do better with some eggs and a waffle maker. Ad well as 2 sides to grab your breakfast from. Very congested in the morning.

This is a very comfortable hotel in a convenient location in Montague. We were able to walk to shops and restaurants. Also, they have a full laundry! We made full use of it and it was very convenient. The staff could not have been more helpful.

Absolutely the most memorable part of our trip to the East Coast. Beautiful rooms, fabulous view - clean, comfortable rooms with outstanding friendly staff. I'd give it 6 stars if I could!

rented one of the two-bedroom cottages for $350 for a weekend, so we could visit with some distant family. immediately upon arriving, the driveway was very icy; and each of us ended up falling bringing belongings from the car within minutes. after this, my wife had called the front desk to inquire about some salt being put down. also, the cottage was very dated- but that’s something we all could get past. after eating, we had checked outdoors to see if it was salted and all that had been done was some salt thrown on our doorstep- not even near the ice we complained about. i did my best to get what i could onto the driveway but it didn’t do much justice. later that night before going to bed, my son had gotten out of the bathroom and accidentally tapped the dogs water dish, leaving the floor a little wet. obviously; i cleaned it up, with one of the white hotel hand towels and that’s when to our surprise we had discovered the floors were pretty dirty. the area i wiped up seemed to lighten up from the rest of the floors. the next day; i woke up and found my hat under the bed (i have a super bad habit of falling asleep with my hat on while watching TV). all was fine, until my wife later pointed out my hat was covered in more dirt, lint, and dust. i looked under the bed with my phones flashlight; and it was very dirty, no wonder my hat was in the condition it was. great place, great views; not so great service though. we’ve rented a hotel room here in the past too and i’ll say that experience was a much better experience. clean rooms; no need to worry about super dirty floors and my clothing has never been ruined. unfortunately this experience was just very unsatisfying. we’ll definitely be avoiding these cottages, and renting a hotel room next time

I'm sure the inn and cottages are fine. The laundromat is a disaster. At any given time at least half the machines are out of order. Every visit, some won't take your quarters and some won't take your loonies, requiring constant trips to the front desk for change. The top-bottom setup with only one set of slots for two machines often steals peoples money. The machines are also overpriced and often leave clothes not dry. With all the money flowing through the laundromat, surely it would be simple to fix these problems. Update: did 2 loads in the dryer for $3 each (overpriced). Maybe, MAYBE a quarter of those clothes were dry so I had to spend more money. This laundromat is a disgrace. It's extremely unfortunate that it's the only one in town. It also desperately needs a change machine.

Way over priced for dated cabins Dirty. Had to request new bedding because crumbs were left. Pull out sofa is so bad you can sleep in it Location is great, just poorly run.

Just returned from our overnight at Lanes Riverhouse Inn & Cottages. This was our first time at the property. We stayed in the hotel which was built recently and our "lookout room" was said to be one of their best. From check-in to check-out, we were delighted with every little detail. The front desk staff were fantastic. Genevieve treated us like family with a warm welcome chat on arrival, suggestions on a dinner venue (she followed up when we returned from dinner to see how it went), details about the property and she even brought bottled water to our room late in the evening. The Inn has the most spectacular views of the Montague River. Our room was modern and spotless, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and we loved spending time on the balcony overlooking the river. This is a quiet and quaint property located within walking distance to two local breweries, several restaurants, shops, the Confederation Trail, groceries/gas/alcohol and several fast food and pizza places. Free continental breakfast bar was conveniently stocked with hot beverages, juices, fruit, bagels, english muffins, breakfast bars and muffins. The entire place was spotless. We had a blast and will be back!

Excellent faculties. Rooms were great. Staff was helpful. I can not mention enough about the cleanliness and size of the rooms. built with excellence the most important. Only thing lacking was shower head did not have a big enough spray to cover my petite frame.

Thank you so much for assisting us with top notch service for our event we booked in the lower level banquet room. You all went above and beyond - from the effective communication and checking in, to helping set up.
