First, my daughter and I went to this sketchy-looking, untidy and dirty "watch service" shop in Sackville Drive but ended yelled at with F U by the owner who apparently had the same display of rudeness to previous customers. I had to bail out because the owner was being nasty. When i asked for my daughter's watch back, he threw it on us! So we went to Stoneman's Jewellery and was treated very, very well. Totally opposite experience from Yea Old Watch Center. The lady at Stoneman's was so courteous and jovial and was so pleasing to deal with. The place is so clean and tidy. This is a perfect watch service center where you can be assured of quality service to entrust your treasured timepieces!

My husband and I absolutely love this little place. When we first moved here, we needed to find somewhere to get our batteries replaced in our watches. In Ontario, the place we went to charged $15 for the service, PLUS $11 for the battery! We stumbled across this little shop while at Lawtons across the street. While they don't have an overly large selection of jewellery, their repair/replacement services alone will have us coming back. My new battery, with the battery purchase and replacement service was under $7. They were quick and friendly, AND they have a purchasing program where your 8th battery replacement is free! She also showed me how to adjust the band. What a little gem in our neighbourbood.

Staff are wonderful and helpful, I cannot praise them enough for the work on my jewellery repairs, a ring, watch clasp and bracelet. They were super quick, the work is beautifully done (very reasonable cost) and the front staff are so helpfull and friendly. Highly recommend.

I somehow knocked out the small part that holds the battery in my obsolete Swiss Army pocket watch. The ladies at Stoneman's are very obliging and fixed it right away while I waited. I was really impressed.
