Amazing place downtown Halifax! Delicious food; big portions; relatively cheap prices given the location, the portion, and the atmosphere; great service; and they've included a robot waiter/waitress too! A trend that we're starting to see around Ontario by far! Definitely a must try location!

Hands down the Best Pho restaurant in Halifax. Finally a restaurant that can serve close to authentic pho. The food is amazing and the price is great too. Definitely a place to eat in Halifax especially if you are in Downtown area. Tom is an amazing person and great owner. Always luv visiting here and dine in.

A R2D2 looking robot server is not the only cool thing they have. The amazing broth and never ending bowl of noodles, cool atmosphere, great location the list goes on. Very reasonably priced with many varieties of Pho to choose from, including gluten free options. This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have been to. Definitely worth the visit.

Great atmosphere and service. I'm gonna keep it straightforward with no sugarcoating. Food quality isn't there. Presentation is good, but the flavour of the soup/pho is very bland and watery. Pork spring rolls were average but the sauce had weird texture and taste. Those robots that bring food up your table is nice concept but IMHO I think they should work on the quality of their food instead of robots. I had high hopes before coming to this restaurant. Sorry, would not recommend.

Solid AYCE sushi place, went for lunch, price was incredible, hot items were fantastic, quality was wonderful, at the level of Calgary and BC sushi buffets

Amazing all you can eat sushi. I stuffed my face beyond belief in here. The food is amazing and 100% worth a visit to come and experience. However, there are a couple of things to be cautious of; - some of the sushi are individually ordered (i.e. 1 roll) and some come as 6 rolls. Don't do what I did and pretty much order one of everything expecting 10 rolls to come out and then 24 get out infront of you ... - anything you don't finish, you will be charged at full menu price for. (which to be fair is actually quite reasonable) - the beer is ridiculously expensive. In the photo attached, I believe that can of beer was around $11. So I suggest sticking to water here and going for a drink either before or after. Aside from that I loved it here and will return !

Really loved the environment they are offering, It feels like you're out of city in a middle of city! That's just so classic! Service is good, Glass of water is just welcome drink and they take care of while you're sitting on the table. Loved the culture and vibes. Prices are also very fair. Had "Vegetarian Dumplings" (Gyoza/Momos), It was really good and crispy and sauce was on point not so chilly but sour, really liked it. And "Spicy salmon handroll" was just brilliant! Can't get over the taste and texture of it. Stuff inside was perfectly made and deliciously sweet and soft it was.

The shrimp rolls, pineapple seafood rice, and mango salad were delicious, and fresh. Good presentation and attention to detail 😊 They even gave me a spicy sauce 🔥 I will definitely order again. I ordered on Uber.

The flavors were delicious and the lemon tea was authentic. The noodle soup was also very flavorful. Jane was very enthusiastic in presenting my meal.

Since my last travels to Singapore and Malaysia I have been looking for an authentic laksa. Tonight's dinner at Beyond Pho delivered that flavour in the beef noodle laksa soup. All I can say is that it was phenomenal! It had the right amounts of sweet, spicy, sour and salty in every spoonful. I ordered a regular sized bowl, and I promise this could be shared on a date night, the portion was very generous. The staff are super! So friendly, very attentive and prompt. Bring seated, ordering and all the rest were very friendly interactions with the servers. They are definitely a value to Beyond Pho. Atmosphere was nice. Modem, open space. Comfy booths. Very clean. My only feedback would be to expand their music shuffle. I heard the same Ed Sheeran song three times in the 45 minutes I was there. I highly recommend Beyond Pho. It's better than a treat, it's like getting the whole cake all at once.

The food isn't great. The sushi rice is a little hard. They don't include sashimi in their all you can eat. Some of the servers don't know how to smile and a lot sushi rolls are 6 pieces so you can't try that many of you're not more than more than 2 people. The grilled salmon belly come out as fried. Not worth it.

The new location is pretty special for a number of reasons: 1. Service was very smooth and attentive, without being overbearing. Plates were cleared in a timely manner, and my glass was always full. 2. The restaurant itself is upping it's game. From Reidel glassware to chilled beer glasses and all the way down to the stippling on the chopsticks for better control it feels like no detail was left out. I would also like to submit them for the best restaurant bathroom award. Another aspect is there's alot of booth seating around to allow for a more private dinning experience. 3. The food was very good. My first time trying mackerel on sushi and egg cream steam buns and those two items will keep me coming back. This new location is raising the bar for Sushi restaurants. A upscale experience while also being familiar and priced fairly.

Overall this was a great experience. It was the first place I had a server and a robot bringing food so that was interesting. The broth was exceptional. Spring rolls were ok as they seemed a bit dry but still tasted ok. The skewer was tasty. I’m sure there are other places but this happened to be a pleasant change of food.

Had lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the food was amazing. From the appetozers, to the vermicelli bowl to the teddy bear iced tea, the food was delicious and we'll portioned. The servers were friendly and efficient and the decor was beautiful. Highly recommended for those who want some good Vietnamese cuisine!

Good sushi, I always get the boxes/lunch options they have, and havnt been disappointed yet. Recently had the gold box for takeout, good portion sizes for price! I Recommend.

Very good pho! The sticky pork dumplings were AMAZING!! Loved the takeout packaging as well, decently priced and fresh ingredients.

I had a few mixed and assorted sushi sets, they were all fairly mediocre. Fish seemed ok but flavour and quality didn't stand out, and ngiri fish portions were on the small side. Pickled ginger had an odd, musty? flavour. Miso soup was thin and watery. Included salad was just bad: pile of shredded iceberg with 2 anaemic tomatoes, I didn't bother. There are much better sushi places just a few blocks away.

Staff were very friendly & nice. Big serving of food. Noodles are really tasty. I love the mango sticky rice! Will definitely come back.

I love their food so much! Ordered a couple time through SkipTheDishes but this time was my first time here in the restaurant. Sushi was so fresh and tasty, the sashimi was so tinder and juicy. The presentation of the meal was also very beautiful. Love the decor and the atmosphere was super comfortable. Why -1 star was because the servers collected the dishes very fast. They collected all the dishes while we were still eating. In the end I didn't even have chopsticks to eat what I didn’t finish. I don’t know if it’s because they don’t have enough seats, so they need to tighten up, but everything else was good. Love their food! Definitely will go back again!

Food was very delicious!! Our server was very nice and attentive 🍲! Everything we ordered was 100% worth it! ☺️
