Thanks to Altantic Implants & periodontics, I was able to combat periodontal disease and keep my teeth an incredible 10 years from first visit. They have the top specialists and best advice as I've had several challenging procedures and all have gone perfectly. Both Dr LaCroix and Dr Edward's have been able to find solutions when I presented quite a challenge. They could have charged me more on several occasions but did not. They always provided me with consultations and even explained it more than once when needed. They have accommodated my schedule as much as possible and when required, they coordinate with other professionals like dentist and denturists and enisteologists without ever having error. They have the best, most professional, caring and courteous staff from assistants, to hygienists, to reception and clerical. But of course the leadership, l knowledge and skill of Dr Edward's and Dr Lacroix before him have been the key to their success. I have recently completed my top implants and hopefully will not require anymore surgery. It feels great! Better than since I was a teenager. And looks better too. I will return should I ever need anything and highly recomend them. I cannot imagine a better periodontics and implants service exists in Atlantic Canada. Dr Edwards and the team are so professional and kind I honestly had the best time during my surgery. I felt totally safe and cared for we even shared a few laughs. I had 8 extractions five implants and my jaw leveled in preparation for permanent upper dentures ,recovery was actually way less painful than I thought it would be and since my surgery was a Friday they even gave me a direct contact number should I have any problems over the weekend . ,I of course didn’t since they did such an amazing job . If your putting off getting the work you need done don’t !!!!!! , I highly recommend this place you will be cared for as though you where the most valuable family member they have . Thank you so much for your care They even went so far as to send a get well soon bouquet of flowers wow so sweet five starts is just not enough

i cannot say enough GREAT things about the team at Atlantic Implants and Periodontics. My first appt which was a consult went well and it was suggested i do a Root Planing treatment. i will admit, i was nervous, I have had issues with my teeth since forever and it seems no matter how hard I try, it’s not good enough. I am so hoping this solves my gum issue. Now in saying that, this brings me to Rachel ( i think that was her name, i’m so bad at names) she was absolutely amazing. FIRST person ever to explain the PROPER brushing technique. Anyway onto my first appointment, Rachel did her first treatment on me, and she totally made me feel relaxed. we talked, we laughed,we joked all while she was doing her thing. i go back for a checkup in March and another treatment. keep your fingers crossed that this solves the issue. With an upcoming implant ready to go in the new year, not much funding left for more. Bottom line I highly recommend The Atlantic Implants and Periodontics with Dr. Edwards and his highly qualified team. Btw, i should point out, even the front end staff are amazing, they welcome you and are so kind. A big thank you to all of Dr. Edwards team.

Really happy with Dr. Edwards! He took the time to explain every step and made sure all my questions were answered. The implant went extremely well; no pain, no swelling! Would recommend him anytime.

I had a grafting surgery done here last year (by Dr. Edwards). All staff were excellent and the results from my surgery were incredible! In a recent checkup with my dentist, they told me they had never seen a grafting surgery done so well before. They could hardly tell that the surgery had been done, except for the fact that my recession was gone. Needless to say, I highly recommend having any surgery or work done here.

Dr Bruce Edwards is very relaxed, approachable and genuine. Service is amazing and he take the time to explain the procedure and process and is very open to having all your questions answered. Definitely runs a 5 Star practice! The staff is also very friendly and accommodating as well.

Dr. Edwards was great! He was super chill, and the surgery I had went very smoothly. Recovery was much less painful than I thought it would be. Really very little pain at all. The end result seems to have worked, and my gum looks so much better! Even Dr. Edwards was surprised and very pleased with the progress of the healing when I had a follow-up appointment after the surgery. Would highly recommend him and Atlantic Implants and Periodontics to anybody. :)

I moved to the area after having the same dentist in another province for 35 years. I was told by my new dentist that I more than likely needed an implant. I was very upset and nervous at the time (crying actually). He recommended Dr Edwards and I eventually booked a consultation. Staff very friendly and comforting. Office very clean and all Covid precautions taken. I was told to wait in the car until they called me to come in. Dr Edwards made me feel very comfortable and explained all my options. I of course took his advice and decided to go ahead in a few weeks. I also opted for a nurse to come in and put me under for the procedure with iv sedation. I could of chosen to be awake or taken some type of pill the morning of. I don’t remember a thing other than waking up and feeling relaxed and happy. I was told the tooth was cracked and a large infection was happening under the gums. He could not put in the implant until my gums healed. The office had called my pharmacy and I had taken antibiotics and an anti inflammation Meds prior to the procedure. I needed a drive home and had no pain, other than the fact I couldn’t drink coffee for 24 to 48 hours I had a mild headache. My gums are healing nicely and the stitches have been taken out. Looking forward to the next part of my journey. I know this was long and detailed but if anyone reads this and is hesitating at looking after their teeth know you will be in good hands.
