Stopped by to put our feet in the water and couldn't help ourselves. We took the plunge. Water was so awesome that we jumped in with our clothes on. Love the waves and beautiful sand. My new favorite beach for sure.

What a beautiful narrow beach, pristine sand. 2 things stopped me from giving it 5: a) the parking lot is so bad, full of holes, and b) the toilets have no hand sanitizer, that's surely easy to fix. However the beach and the views are superb. There is a cafe over the road too (which doesn't appear on Google for some unknown reason)

It was 4° and beautiful. Watched a young woman swim as I sat wrapped up in a heavy sweater and hat and mitts. Magical!!

Great beach, with decently warm water for the North Atlantic. The only downfall is how busy it gets. If you want a parking spot and a decent spot on the beach, you have to get there early. This year there was also a canteen and small rental spot with SUPs. FYI- just because the forecast calls for sun, you may still get fog on this coast!

Lovely afternoon on the beach. Ice cream shop across the street and fresh oysters at Emile's just 5 minutes down the road.

Had a friend with a walker ... she couldn't get down on main beach due to steep access and water runoff washing out some of the sand in the path from the parking lot Beach was clean and everyone there was having fun ... great place to be

This one is quite nice just 30 mins drive from Halifax city centre. I always for parking spot not too busy not to quite. The best thing is a lot of families so with family a must visit spot in summers.

I love Queensland! It's always been one of my favourite beaches. Unfortunately it gets too crowded in the summer, but it's perfect on warm off-season days.

Queensland Beach is a Beautiful, but small sandy beach, about a half hour drive from Halifax. When the tide is high there is not much room between the water and the rocks, but at low tide it's plenty. The water can be cold in the earlier months of summer but does warm up a bit. There is a good sized parking lot, It is dog friendly and has bathrooms/change rooms. It does get very packed most nice days during summer.

Love this beach! It was very crowed, but what would you expect! My little one loved the wave and it was nice to have a sand beach instead of a rocky muddy one! Can't wait to go back!

A very calm day in the late summer. The air was still warm and there were few people, just some Sand Piper's...

Lovely beach, easy to get to. If it's sunny arrive early so as you can get in the car park, though there are other parking spots up for grabs on the road side. The usual wood hut washrooms, take your own food and drink as I only saw a icecream shack. Good fun !! Oh! And crazy busy on the weekends.

My son and I visited the beach on Sunday morning when nobody was around. It was enjoyable to experience an empty beach and let my 18mth old wander and explore the sands without it being crowded.

A good beach although there are no washrooms or a place to wash off the sand before getting back in the vehicle. Also, the beach is small and crowded on the weekend. While Queensland is popular, beaches like Martinique, Clam Harbour, and others do have a much larger beach area and are not so crowded and offer picnic areas, washrooms, and change areas.

We love this beach! Even in the winter it's beautiful. Great sand, waves can break nice and big.. even has washrooms! If you haven't been.. grab your sandals and go this summer! ****

Went in Off Season, October, but the beach was beautifully kept with lovely soft sand. Kids loved running around, digging holes and chasing waves. Great little hidden gem.

Beautiful spot for a short walk. A short bridge separates fresh water and the ocean. Was grateful there were change rooms as well as toilets on site.
