1st time at this restaurant i love the way his son treated us when taking the order we ordered 2 things and one of them is chicken shawarma i never had that bad shawarma a day in my life didn’t cooked well feels like eating raw chicken. I get back to the restaurant just to let them know also waited outside the restaurant for 10-15 minutes because the customers were inside and i don’t want to tell them anything publicly but the way he treated I don’t like that he literally cooked raw chicken on grill in front of me but he told me that’s how it’s been made. I think i was going at the wrong stores than to get the shawarma. Also the 2 stars i gave is for the customer service his son provided.

Ordered food here at 10:30 pm because we were hungry from our lackluster dinner and thank God we did!! The donairs here are so filling! Very generous with the meat. The sauce we got on the side thankfully because it is very very sweet. Overall a satisfying late night meal. Update: We came back this morning because it was the only place open near us at 11:00 AM and the man serving us was not only friendly but fast! A 'small' sub is not small! It's about 9 inches long and my husband's was the 'large' which was about 12 inches! I had the chicken breast sub and it was generously stuffed as well as my husband's cold cut. The only thing there was too much of was the mayo. Other than that, super worth the price.

Family operated locally owned deli/pizzeria style restaurant that i genuinely enjoyed. Had a special for what was essentially 2 large pizzas for about $24. The owner is a jolly and welcoming person and the rest of the staff is friendly too. Prices are fair and the portions are great ! One large pizza can easily feed a 3-4 person party and they've got a great selection of sweets! This is a great spot for a quick bite or last minute dinner plans, and not to mention its attached to a surprisingly well stocked grocery store with all the essentials. Definitely worth checking out !

Have lived in Herring Cove for a year and we love the pizza and sqaures, got the clams for first time today maybe best fried clams we have had in the Halifax area. Worth the drive for those not familiar with the area, only 15 minutes from the rotary along Purcell's Cove Road, have them fresh from the fryer down on the little wharf around the corner.

I always get the chicken Greek salad. The portion is crazy big. Loaded with grilled chicken. It is quite good and plentiful. The price you cannot beat. I also have tried the chicken ceaser. Delicious.

I can't help but give a bad review I call to order a pizza and it rings and rings and then you pick it up and you hang up. you don't attract customers that way especially new customers so I'm giving you a one star if I could give you zero I would I don't appreciate somebody hanging up on my ear, and this isn't the only time it's been going on for a couple days try to call ahead for pizza and you don't want my business so I'll spend my money elsewhere this customer is not happy

Bad location, over priced for mediocre food, closed a few times when it said it's open. They have a website but don't know how to use it. Wasted our time going to it while their own site said it was open but wasn't. Lost 4 customers for life.

After returning from long lake park, I had 🍦 in that shop. It was nice 👍 and my husband had some scallop and shrimp 🍤. He said it was tasty and bit of oily.😊

It's takeout, so the atmosphere reflects the area overlooking the Fishing Village. Pizza and donairs are great, clams are fresh... What more can I say?

Bought 2 Donairs as usual, unfortunately this time there was more onion and tomato on it than meat. Also just barely warm I assume because there was so much onion and tomato on it. If they are trying to cut cost by putting more onions the donair they are making a mistake. I have enjoyed them there before, will try it again however if I get the same results it will be the last time

Best donairs, fish is really good as well. Friendly owner/operator. It's definitely a great place to stop when you're out for a drive. He'll set up a table outside or eat inside during warmer times. The restaurant is closed on Sunday, and everyone needs a break.

I love the food here. Over the years I've become vegan, and their veggie pizza with olives and no cheese is dang delicious. Just loaded with fresh toppings. I don't even miss the cheese. They also have amazing desserts but I can't eat them anymore because I'm vegan.

Amazing quantity and quality for the price.. Plus the friendliest staff ever.. This is a must in Halifax! Trust me this is coming from a former sous chef!

Great staff friendly and polite every time. They recognize their customer and great them by name if they know their name. Worth the drive even if out of the way.

George Saoud is the nicest man in the world. They run a great shop. The food is incredible and now we’re combined is like a mini Costco they have everything in the world you could imagine. If you want to support a great local business visit now we’re cooking.

Having just moved to the area in June. We were looking for a local take out, and this place was recommended. We have definitely found our new favorite. Portion sizes were very generous, great value for the price. And the staff were super friendly. A true gem only 15 minutes from the Armdale rotary.

Donair poutine was to die for! So good. Staff were super busy yet still incredibly friendly. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Great spot for the Hearing Cove community.

Good local food. The donair plate is tasty. Inside it's small and simple with 4 small tables.
