Wentworth Falls is located in Wentworth Valley off the Provincial HWY 4 just 16 km north from Tunnel Brook Cave on the same side. It can be easily navigated on google maps. There are rocks west side of the road where you can enter for the fall. A minute of beautiful walk under the canopies of trees will take you right to the breathtaking waterfall. It’s one of tallest falls of Nova Scotia. The most intriguing part of this fall is that the way to the fall and the fall itself despite being high all covered under the umbrella of trees which makes it unique in it’s own way and gives a feel like the whole area is indoor. However you can experience this only in summer and at the same time it makes it prone to insects and mosquitoes, so don’t forget your spray or covering the body. Good place to bring kids as pretty easy and straight to reach, rocks are slippery all the time, so care should be taken if you decide to climb up the fall.

Sitting in the valley of snow NS, the waterfall is only minutes of walk at all. That’s from the trailhead aside the main road to Wentworth. Even in the brisk winter season, the fall remains rather accessible. Given the snow accumulation, we watched our steps gently treading towards the burble. Within minutes, we were rewarded with the shivering quietness and soothing stream harmony.

Wear a pair shoes if you don’t mind them being wet and you can walk through the cave on the top of the waterfall. Bring a flashlight or headlamp.
