I really really wanted to love this company. However after 3 separate experiences I'm still left very disappointed. Appointment 1: after much research of shops in and out of HRM I decided to book with Olivia at the Truro location while visiting my sister on September 21st. Olivia was fantastic really took her time to make sure I was comfortable and that the jewelry was properly placed as I was having my nipples redone after letting them grow over for several years. They had been poorly done originally with Olivia's portfolio, accreditation experience I felt in good hands and left my appointment that day very happy and satisfied. Appointment 2: unfortunately Olivia had misjudged the size and i wasnt healing well with an infection. During the healing period I was in and out of hospital for my husband with no power at home due to Fiona so I emailed Olivia looking for help as I couldn't visit Truro. She was very sweet and booked me into the Halifax studio with Brandon for a simple refit. I showed up to my appointment on time unfortunately I then had to wait over a half hour as his previous appointment ran long due to his rampant flirting with the client. Finally he brought me into one of their rooms and quickly refit me into the longest bar they had. He did not take the time to clean the site nor match the bar to the balls Olivia had used. The full experience made me feel like an inconvenience to him and he ended the appointment asking if I would like to leave a tip! Appointment 3: after the previous two appointment I decided to book back in with Olivia to have my husband's ears pierced as a gift, we booked in online and made a trip to Truro tonight solely for this appointment as we live in Dartmouth. When we approached the doors Billie answered immediately telling us we were mistaken (turned out to have been an error in the booking with the website) Billie had one last appointment for the night who had not yet shown up. They refused to take the time to consider fitting him in that evening or even to help me get a set of jewelry that was properly sized as I had brought both sets with me as you can see in the picture below. I do not recommend this studio at either location and we will not be back.

My girlfriend had a piercing done. The staff are well trained professionals and friendly. The service was fast, and clear instructions for aftercare were given. She will definitely be using them again.

Had a wonderful experience with Billie today. They were so patient and caring and made my daughter feel comfortable getting her ears pierced. We felt welcomed and not rushed in choosing the perfect jewelry. The shop was clean and inviting. We made the two hour drive just to have Billie do the piercing and it was definitely worth it!!

Today I took my daughter to get her ears pierced. It was her first piercings and the team at Skin Decision were excellent. Olivia was great with my kid making her feel comfortable and gave us a great overall experience. I don't know the name of the person who was helping us at first pick out the jewelry, but they were great with my kid also. Thank you to you both.

Didn't even leave the parking lot and had to share how fantastic Billie is. What a comfortable piercing experience! They were thorough, calm, precise. I am so happy with the work I received and would gladly drive the 4 hours again. The new studio looks fantastic too!

My daughter got a helix done yesterday and she said the Experience was amazing and they were super nice.she was so nervous and so was I but when my daughter was done she said it was not bad at all.I Recommend if you want any Piercing done this is the #1 place to go.thank you so much.looking forward to go back

I may be a little bit biased about this place as my brother and his wife own it ... but still hands down great place for ink and piercings and they have two different locations... gotta love that

I wanted a nostril piercing as long as I can remember. Approaching 40, I thought, Life is too damn short! Let's do this! I had my nose pierced today and Billie was AMAZING. They explained what to expect and put my nerves at ease. We looked at jewelry options together and they explained what would work and what might not, and then we chose a piece that would be best. We went over aftercare and healing and then it was time for the piercing. They were very gentle and even helped me with an older cartilage piercing that I was having trouble with. I would definitely recommend Skin Decision and Billie! I love the piercing so much and I can't wait until it heals so I can come back and choose a new jewelry piece! Thank you thank you thank you!

Olivia and Billie are fantastic and will do everything to make you as comfortable as possible and ensure your piercing is exactly how you want it to be, done correctly and safely. Skin Decision cultivates a professional and welcoming atmosphere and takes the utmost care to make your piercing experience completely stress free. They are piercers who care and love what they do and it clearly shows in their work. Not to mention a great selection of high quality, gorgeous jewellery.

Highly recommend going to see Billie for piercings! They were very kind, very gentle and nothing but smiles and laughs the whole time! The environment was very calm and relaxed, so happy with my piercing!

I was so happy with my experience! I booked with Olivia because my plastic earring backs had somehow gotten stuck on. I tried every at home remedy I could find on google and they would not budge. I booked online and she had them off in 5 minutes! She was very friendly and the atmosphere of the shop was great!

Said they were open on Google. drove all the way there, there was a girl coming outside to get in her car as I was getting off my motorcycle and taking off my helmet. She seen me and we made eye contact she knew that I was going in there because there was no other place I could have been going I was parked directly beside their building. It said that they did not close until 7 p.m. I was there at about 4:30 and this girl was leaving. I wasn't 100 percent certain that she was the one who would be the only one there at this time is it said that they were open. She then seen me walking up to the front door as she was pulling out into the road there was cars coming so we made eye contact as she seen me knocking on the door never said a word never roll down the window nothing just drove off. Completely unacceptable

I had my ear pierced by Olivia. I was super happy with the service I received. She was professional and gave me good advice on taking care of it.
