Okay I admit I was reticent to come here, seeing all the negative reviews - but then looking at every other walk-in clinic in the city, they all have terrible reviews too. So, here’s what I’ll say about my experience here: it was absolutely FINE. I went on a Thursday, the clinic opened at 9am; I went early - got there at around 7:45am. There were already 6 people ahead of me, but by about 8:30am there were at least 25 people lined up. So just be reasonable with your expectations - the place has one doctor and all those patients. There’s GOING to be a wait, obviously. The receptionists were lovely - welcoming and accommodating. I got in to see the doctor by around 9:45am and he was quick, efficient and friendly. For 5 stars, they’d need to have more doctors so the wait time is less. And the waiting room could be more comfortable. They could offer water or have coffee/tea while you wait. But, ultimately, knowing I’d be waiting for a few hours going in - this experience was completely fine and, in fact, much better than I expected from the other reviews.

Show up early! I was there 20 minutes before opening time on a Saturday and there were already 10 people ahead of me in line, and there was only one doctor on duty, so I had to wait over three hours for my appointment. But I was able to give them my number and wait outside in my car, reception was very friendly throughout the process. Once I got in to my appointment Dr Roy was very kind and attentive, really one of the best walk-in experiences I've had. The clinic seems great, it's not their fault the system is overloaded. Definitely a good option if you're stuck needing a doctor on a weekend.

I am sooo disappointed with them if i could give them zero i would definitely give. Today, I call them to book an appointment with my family doctor and i came to know he left the country and i don’t know when. He didn’t transfer his patients ,no replacement , no suggestions at all and the clinic left his patients with no doctor at all. Is this the way they are working ????I am 6 months pregnant and i am really scared what should i do at this point. When i ask the receptionist whats the way out she said call 811. Really?? Is this how you taking care of patients with pregnancy?? I got that doctor after 1 year of waiting and he left all of sudden.. what if i even didn’t call today as well?? They have no sense of responsibilities to inform the patients. The excuse they gave we put a note in the clinic.. Dear, i am not coming to your clinic daily to read the updated notes.Ridiculous services and experience. I am totally screwed now i don’t know how i can find a doctor as soon as possible.

Waited in line for over an hour because and finally got in only to be told I need to contact public health. The receptionists barely took the time to read my paperwork requiring tests and reqs, or give helpful direction. The number they gave to call wasn’t even the correct number leading to even more run around. Less than impressed with their professionalism.

I went early and waited in line for an hour and all I needed was a prescription refill. The receptionist told me the doctor would call me and could do it over the phone. She said it would be 1.5 hours. After 2.5 hours I called to follow up and she said he planned on calling me soon. After almost 5 hours I called back but no answer. They closed and locked up and forgot about me. Thought maybe they faxed it to shoppers so I called there hoping but they did not. Terrible service. I had horrible withdrawal and needed to wait another day to go get it filled which was very disappointing. Do not recommend.

Wife and Kiddo got Dr. Bhatti as their family doctor after our last family doctor retired. After he left the Dartmouth Medical Center he didn't take me as a patient but took my wife and kid. Leaving me with no family doctor. Their first visit didn't go well and we did begin the processes of trying to switch but kept Bhatti until we found someone new. Fast forward to yesterday July 31st 2022. I contact the doctors office after inquiring about hearing that one of the doctors left the country. Heard this from a review made here about 2 months ago. When they confirmed it was their doctor. I was given the statement of "We put notices around the office alerting of his leave" but what about those who were his patients who aren't there on a weekly to monthly bases. We had no idea he left. No one contacted us via phone or email. The last doctor we had didnt have problems contactingnthe list of patients they had to let them know of their retirement. Dont know why they couldnt. Now my wife and kiddo have no family doctor along side me. After telling the receptionist this was inexcusable to not contact patients about their doctor leaving. They hung up on me. Avoid this medical center like the plague. Unprofessional.

Was at first so impressed that they said they would see my son with dizziness and nausea when he called them, he arrived and checked in and they said he would get a phone call so could wait in his car. Call never came and door locked when he went to see what was up. Should have went to emerge but the receptionist clearly indicated they would see him sooner than there. Horrible.

I went in last week, waited almost 5 hours to be seen and was supposed to get a note from the doctor for unemployment. I still have not received the note and now the doctor is not in for another week and my e.i runs out next week. They have not called like they were supposed to and I will be filing a complaint with the college of Doctors and physicians as I have been more then patient.

This clinic is the worst I’ve been. I arrived before it opened. When the secretary arrived she cut the line in half saying the doctor was going to work for 2 hours only. No apologies, no empathy, just a “you have to go home now. The doctor will leave in 2 hours”. That’s it.

Their website admin didn't care about whitelisting their email which caused their email going to spam, and their sms system broke. They scheduled an appointment without proper follow up or confirming it with us, and then tried to charge us for what we never knew about and never agreed on. The staff behave unprofessionally, trying to hide their mistake. Irresponsible and unresponsive organization which should be banned their license.

I went there today. Was there at 7.30am. already 3 people were waiting already. The first person came at 7am. The clinic opens at 9am. Better come by 7am to make sure you won't wait too much after. When telling my health situation at the secretary, was a bit embarrassed because there is absolutely no privacy, people behind you can clearly hear why you are here. Secretary is busy and doesn't deal with privacy obviously. The office is not perfect either for that ! Doctor was ok, fast, I think he did well. I saw him by 9.20am and I was out at 9.30am.

Today was not my 1st visit to this clinic. My previous experiences were not great. Reading online & seeing all the walk-in clinics closed or already at capacity made me nervous to even attempt to try Tacoma Medical again. I was there @7:45 am this morning & only 6 people ahead of me. The receptionists opened for registration early @8:45. Surprisingly, they were all very pleasant and friendly. My wait time was only 30 minutes, was politely put in an exam room and only waited for 5 minutes for the doctor. Dr. Busahmen(I really want to call him Dr Wally), was so nice and sweet. My prescriptions were sent via computer to my pharmacy. A much better experience for sure and it calmed my anxiety. Be sure to go very early, bring a book or watch a movie like I did and have a seat on the floor. Due to shortages of doctors, the few walk-in clinics are extremely busy and you may find yourself being turned away, which was my fear, so go very early before they open. The doors were open, so it was nice & cool inside to wait. 😊❤️

By today’s walk-in standards, this was a good experience. I registered at 11:10am and left for a couple hours, then checked back in at 1:10. Finally saw the doctor (Dr Busahmen) at 4pm. He was friendly and listened to what I had to say. The receptionist was polite and willing to update me on my position in line throughout the experience. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to see a doctor today, so this is a huge relief. Thanks Tacoma Walk-in!

I have so far been here twice, within a week of each other for 2 diff things. My doctor left the province and my teen needed to be seen as did I. The walk in i originally go to was closed so I came here. The staff were lovely and polite. The doctor, being a busy man trying to get through everyone, to the point and yet still made us feel welcomed without feeling rushed. I also like the fact you can wait in your vehicle or what have you, and just be back in 5 min when they phone. This is what made me go back a 2nd time and now today I will be taking my 3yr old as he has an ear infection.

Been here twice, both times I showed up early and waited an hour to be told the Dr isn’t coming in, save time and go somewhere else

Very polite workers but I've been here for 5 hours. There should be more than one doctor for a massive clinic. You basically have to lose a day of work to make sure you're healthy.

They open at 10am on the day I called. I called at 10:01am and didn't get through to anyone until 10:04. They don't take appointments at this clinic, which is understandable. When talking with this person I ask only one question, do you have a doctor on site that can perform a drivers medical? I'm told, RIGHT after they open and don't take appointments, that somehow they're booked for the ENTIRE day! That makes no sense. If you'd like to waste your time by going here your whole day will be gone

You have to show up at 6am in order to wait in line outside and be turned away at 9am because "they are all booked up for the day" but say they don't take appointments. They don't care about you at all, it's a social gathering to them

The best staff, super friendly and caring. Dr. Busahmen is an amazing family Dr. I cannot praise him enough. 🤗

The worst experience,, staff is the worst,, I have never seen staff like this anywhere,, I was waiting since 8 am in the morning until 10:35,, then i went out for a while,, she called me once it was my turn and i told her i will be there in 2 minutes,, less than 2 minutes I was inside the clinic already and she told me that now my name is at the bottom of the list now,, i requested them a lot that I just need one signature of the doctor on a paper and nothing else and I am waiting since 8am,, now you are telling me that I am in the bottom of the list? I don't know her name but she was Canadian at the reception,, she was so bad and told me that she can even put me out of the list because I was outside of clinic door, I repeated that, for 3 hours I am waiting here and now i went out for a while,, and i was inside the CLINIC in less than 2 minutes of her call,, i told them to check cameras if i am lying,, i came inside the clinic within 2 minutes of your call but no one listened to me,, i am requesting to the MANAGER to take notice of this and give training to the staff that they should consider that people are waiting for so long to get one signature and at the time of their turn if they will be told that now your name is at the bottom of the list or we can take your name out of the list because you went out of the door of clinic,, so I didn't know what to do.. I am so disappointed from this clinic,, I will never recommend anyone this clinic,,

It's not bad as other reviewers have rated. They might have different experience. The place is comfortable and staff are helpful. The only thing is the location, which is too far if someone wants to come from halifax. Waiting is long. They can surve tea, water or coffee. Overall good

My records were sent to this clinic after the clinic I had been going to closed. I was not informed or this, nor did I consent. I had previously been able to call my old clinic for a prescription renewal and it was done in 30 seconds. Now I have to take time off work and spend an entire day waiting to have a 2 minute conversation to get the same medication I've been on. The justification for this being "all doctors are different". Reception are rude and unhelpful and make the entire experience even worse. I would give 0 stars if it was possible.

The key is getting in very early! Arrive 1 or 2 hours before they open the doors. But once in, the staff were great and the doctor was friendly and quick.
