BEWARE! This hotel is a scam-artist operation. I booked the hotel, and then called the hotel front desk, they told me the hotel was fully booked and they could not accommodate me, and told me I had to work with hotels.com to get my refund. When Hotels.com tried to get the refund, the hotel told them I was a no-show. The hotel also e-mailed me after telling me they were fully booked, asking "where was I?", to which I replied that I was just told they were fully booked. So I was forced to call my credit card company to do a fraud investigation on the hotel. Again, BEWARE, do not use this place!

The white hair lady in the front is probably the most rude person you would ever meet. Got there at 3 am (I had a reservation) and when she opened the door looked at me like I’m asking her for a favor “unbelievable” with a very mad face; she goes. I ask if there’s something wrong. She goes “everyone getting here at 3, 4 am” mind you this is a MOTEL. The reservation was under my friend and she said I needed to send her a picture of her ID when my friend woke up. In the morning I went out to get a coffee at 9am 10mins after I find my door locked. No call, no text, no warning. When I go to the office this lady is in a worst attitude than last night. When I said why didn’t you contact me first before going in the room with my stuff inside and lock it. She said “we spoke last night”. Don’t ever stay here, there’s better choices around for the same price.

The man with black curly hair working the front desk was beyond rude and seemed racist. He was carrying a very nasty energy. I would highly recommend you train your staff how to communicate to society. PSA: I wouldn’t stay there at all if you’re reading this.

Property manager is very knit-picky on everything. Can’t smoke on the property, expects the room to be completely clean at checkout (even though it’s a motel), definitely overpriced, & just have to be quiet in general. Only 1 house cleaner as well, you will have to call property management to even get the house cleaner to assist with necessities for the room. Okay place but too much restrictions on the place you pay. Also barely parking at night.

We had a good value on this room! The room was a very good size. The bed was comfortable but small and only had two pillows. There was a full kitchen which was very handy, however there was nothing to use in the kitchen. There was a coffee maker but no cups or anything to use. All the cupboards were completely empty. I was unsure how you were going to use the stove, if there were no pots and pans. When we arrived, it was dark, pouring rain and very challenging to find the front office. People around were not friendly. When we attempted to park, there was lots of sketchy people around. I'm not sure this is the best area. It is in a very good location however sketchy people lingering. i assume this is why they don't let you in.The check-in was fine. The person wasn't very pleasant, actually very rude to be honest. When I went to check out, I saw her in the office but the door is always locked. I waved and she did not open the door until I picked up the phone. Since, it was close to New Years I thought I would inquire about staying during this time. She was very rude, and told me she was unable to tell me the price as she didn't know what it was going to be at this time. When I tried to ask for their question she told me to go online and book and see what the prices even though I was there and willing to pay ahead of time, she told me that she wasn't sure what she was going to charge for New Year's Eve yet I really didn't like that. When we started loading our car it started to rain again. When I walked by she was yelling at someone in the room to get out of the room because check out was 11, at this time it was about 11:10. We were waiting for the rain to diminish and then she came and yelled at us in our room to to get out by this time it was 11:15. Yes, I know that check out is at 11:00 we already did but due to the weather I didn't think this was to be a big deal. They need to learn how to be more polite and respectful at that front office. Overall, it was fine. I don't think I would come back as there was lots of sketchy people around and I didn't feel safe.

The front desk guy had terrible attitude issues. All in florida isnt what its all perked out to be. I noticed i get discriminated against really for being asian. Keep away. These low level scums & parasites dont deserve any asian business. Let the zombies milk each other off

Avoid staying here as much as you can. Don’t get fulled on whatever they advertise. Strict environment. The attendant or host is like a police. They only aloud in the room the person that signed in. NO VISITORS aloud, unfair practice. 2 star place.

So glad to stay here. It is peaceful, comfortable, and safe. Excellent place to rest and feel at ease. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. This is my second stay here - Every experience so far has been pleasant and everyone I've encountered so hospitable- especially Lucia in the office who is wonderful and has been so helpful especially during these times. So Grateful and happy with Richards motel.

I did not stay I just called and the guy said his name was Richard after he spoke kind of in Spanish almost in I'm a happy guy and I just said Como diamas and he's like what do you want and it was just not nice guy I'm looking at a lot of reviews I really wanted to go there but won't you be nice or mister great place why don't you calm down and be nicer I want all these people say that y'all are rude like that:-) be nice life is good and I'm sure whatever country you came from whether it's Puerto Rico with a South America Dominican Republic Central America you can't live like you do there I'm not against Latinos or Central Americans or any foreigners I love them more than Americans I'm Johnny Florida I never get to find out :-)

I urgently needed a room to spend the night and I found this motel nearby. I did not even expect to get such a great place for this money. It is a very comfortable clean room with a large bed. There is a separate kitchen with an oven, refrigerator and microwave. Clean shower, clean linens. I am very satisfied with my experience.

We needed a room at the last minute and we were pleasantly surprised by our room for the price! It was clean and comfortable! The outside is beautiful! Richard saved us! Visit this location, we will be back!

Excellent place, especially the maintenance guy edwin he was very professional and very polite. Even I stay there a long time ago I did not gave the place a review. Pool clean, family oriented and very peaceful place. I will stay there again.

Lovely motel with nice outdoor garden space, room was very clean and bigger than expected with a kitchen. Great quiet nights sleep and the staff were really nice and helpful

Cozy and comfortable. Felt the price was bit high compared to some chain hotels.

I've been traveling for a while, and I have not found a better place. The price is great, the service is awesome, and they really go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need. It's a cute little place and extremely cozy, private, and quiet. They have great security and everything needed for a great stay.

Acceptable and good price (off season) with car parking. Full size fridge etc. Sounds like they cater to long stay snowbirds from Montreal Quebec during the winter (story from reception).
