Once
again,
I
made
an
honest
attempt
to
buy
a
new
pair
of
shoes
for
myself.
This
time,
I
did
a
little
more
local
research.
After
a
day
or
two
of
this,
I
found
a
place
called
L.A.
Shoes.
Wanting
to
gather
more
information
on
their
prices
and
store
hours,
I
gave
them
a
call.
The
lady
who
answered
the
phone
was
pleasant
enough,
so
I
made
the
fairly
brief
trip
to
the
store
a
day
or
two
later.
When
I
arrived,
another
pleasant
lady
greeted
me
as
I
walked
into
their
shop.
She
told
me
whatever
they
had
in
stock
was
on
their
shelves.
Thus,
I
begin
trying
on
a
few
pairs
of
shoes
for
men.
I
found
it
kind
of
tough
to
locate
a
pair
which
wasn't
overly
tight
or
loose
on
my
feet.
🐾
However,
the
clerk
was
patient
and
kind
towards
me,
and
even
made
a
good
suggestion
for
me,
once
I
narrowed
it
down
to
3
pairs.
I
took
her
suggestion
and
purchased
a
nice
new
pair
of
black
sneakers
for
around
$15
or
less.
I
also
spoke
to
a
couple
of
other
customers
in
the
store.
One
of
them
thought
I
was
an
assistant
clerk,
and
while
I
was
waiting
for
my
cab
ride
home,
the
actual
clerk
told
me
this
customer
was
looking
for
me.
I
was
a
little
surprised,
but
I
found
her
and
asked
her
what
she
needed.
She
asked
me
about
a
different
pair
of
shoes
in
a
specific
size.
Though
I
tried
to
ask
the
head
clerk
about
it,
she
simply
told
me
to
tell
the
other
customer
what
she
told
me,
about
what
they
have
in
stock.
I
did
so,
apologized
to
the
customer,
and
then
went
home,
shoes
in
hand.
Overall,
this
is
a
good
place
to
obtain
discount
shoes
at.
Although
they
might
not
have
the
perfect
pair
in
stock.
This
is
but
a
small
price
to
pay
if
shoes
are
badly
needed.
