We spent four days here as part of a freediving course and also stayed overnight on site. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a good introduction so that we were always able to find our way around. The bungalows were super clean and the beds were comfortable so we could sleep well. The showers also had warm water, were nice and big and clean. Lighting with motion detectors is energy-saving and great because not everything is always illuminated unnecessarily. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Diving here was incredibly beautiful. The visibility was great and we had a great time. The fish population is impressive with a large sturgeon and a variety of pike and big carp. The underwater landscape with trees, great rocks and a variety of plants was also enchanting. Access to the lake was also easily accessible via the stairs. The entire complex offered space to relax and enjoy nature. We were very happy that we could easily bring our dog with us. Also worth mentioning is the good infrastructure with plenty of drying poles and a great room for equipment. Jost, the owner, was super friendly, uncomplicated and very helpful and supportive. We rate the price-performance ratio as very good.

The homepage says “From divers for divers” and that doesn’t promise too much. Everything about the base is really well thought out, there's plenty of space to set up gear, hang it up and sit together. You're basically spoiled for choice whether you get ready in the spacious (heated in winter) indoor changing area or at one of the tables outside. The lake is great, great visibility and everything is well laid out so you don't miss any attractions. The operator Jost is a super friendly guy, tries hard to take care of everything and is very relaxed. Thank you for 2 great dives, we'll be happy to come back. Oh yes and definitely try the Kamenz sausage, something completely different than boring bockwurst.

One of the hottest diving centers I know. Here the diver is king, if not emperor. The base manager is a force, not just professionally, but he anticipates almost every wish. The base itself has several bungalows and that, together with breakfast, is almost a bargain. You get bed linen, clean showers, clean sanitary facilities and so on. If you want Nitrox or Trimix you can get it here too. There is a weather-protected area to change clothes, enough benches, everything a diver's heart desires. Underwater, the most important routes are equipped with lines, so even beginners can find everything here. My result: WOW you have to have been here.

We had a really great time here. The lake was relatively cloudy, probably typical for the time of year, but there was a lot to discover in the shallow water area and right at the entrance. We were particularly impressed by the very friendly sturgeon. Everything around the lake was perfect, the operator is super nice and the space for getting dressed is very well thought out. The sanitary facilities are clean and the water in the showers is nice and hot. On our last day we were at the Teufelsbruch, a lake where you can also dive after registering with the owner. There are many mining remnants and a school of catfish to admire in the lake. It was spectacular. The diving fee may put some people off at first, but it's definitely worth it.

Hospitable and friendly owners. The image wasn't great, but it was still great!!! It costs probably €10, a 15 L cylinder - €9. There was a meeting with a sturgeon INCREDIBLE. Very sociable ;) he didn't want to leave me ;) My son still names him "PRO" ;)

East Germany Sparmann dive base located in the city center, what would you need more we'll maybe something deep as hell 70 meters the deepest part. Cool stuff underwater, plane, UAZ, and more. Plenty of fish including one-meter spikes and friendly like dog sturgeons makes this place a must-visit when around, everything is on-site including rooms, a compressor and coffee, and small snacks.

Cool, friendly place. A well-organized base. Nice owners. On site you can go diving, book accommodation with a good breakfast, eat sausages and drink beer. There is also a place to camp. The owners also sell honey from their own apiary. Diving - dark, deep, cold - I highly recommend it to lovers of such atmospheres. An additional attraction are large, tame sturgeons that flock to divers during the safety stop.

I really enjoyed it even as a complete beginner, I recommend it to everyone. Pleasant owner, pleasant environment, great facilities. Lots of great experiences under water, including a friendly, cuddly and especially photogenic Sturgeon. I will certainly remember these first steps into the secrets of diving for a long time.
