We were a bit late for the sunset (protip: be an hr earlier to the location than the sunset time mentioned to enjoy the view) but still managed to get a few shots.

It's a nice bit of landscape. Some people try to navigate the stairs with a maxicosi, providing comic relief for others. I especially liked the fact that they had put a rope up trying to prevent people from going to a nice lookout spot, but that they'd also added a fence, so all the idiots (inluding me) who want to break the rules can do so safely. There where some nice rock carving (made by people who hadn't forgotten there pocket knife) and a lot of people who had just scratched there names in. We didn't actually plan to visit, but the rock formation drew out eyes from afar, so this was a sort of bonus trip. There is a brand spanking new bridge from town going to the Teufelsmauer (devils wall) paid for by the local evangelic community. When is hot, you can cool your feet in the nearby stream. And when you're hungry you can get bratwurst at the parkinglot.

Very impressive, the power of nature.

Großartiger und kraftvoller Naturort mitten im Harz. Eine hoch interessante Führung durch diese energetischen Stellen tiefer Magie. Das muss man wirklich gesehen haben und auch sich mal die Zeit nehmen hinein zu spüren.

Achtung, der Parkplatz ist kostenpflichtig. Nicht schlimm. Bei unserer Ankunft stand ein Transporter vor dem Automaten und wir haben es daher nicht realisiert. Der Weg zur Teufelsmauer geht entlang der Bode. Vor den Treppen hoch ist die Stempelstelle der Wandernadel. Beim Aufstieg gibt es links noch den Garten der Teufelsmauer. Zwischendurch stehen immer wieder gut gestaltete Infotafeln. Oben angekommen kann man entlang der Teufelsmauer laufen und schöne Aussichten genießen. Am Ende kann man entweder wieder den Weg zurück oder runter und unten an der Bode zurück. Ich würde zweites empfehlen. Von dem Weg aus hat man auch nochmal schöne Sichten auf die Teufelsmauer. Wir waren abends da und es war super schön.

Very nice place for a small hike. There is a parking place near by and from there it’s around a km to the top. You would be spending at most 2-3 hours there and not more.

It is beautiful touristic spot to visit due to it ls unique Geological history and features.

Ein tolles Erlebnis. Vom gebührenpflichtigen Parkplatz ist man schnell am Einstieg zum Teufelsmauer Stieg. Über mehrere Stufen ( unterschiedlich hoch und breit, aber gut zu gehen ) erreicht man einen tollen Aussichtspunkt. Die Felsen sind sehr beeindruckend. Man kann am Ende des Stieges verschiedene Wege einschlagen, die alle ihren Reiz haben.

Amazing stone formation.

Viele Stufen führen zur Teufelsmauer, aber die imposanten Steine, die wunderbaren Pflanzen und der Fernblick machen den Weg sehr interessant. Zudem gibt es dort den Teufelsmauergarten. Ein tolles Projekt!

Natur belassen Ort. Schön anzusehen. Nur schade das jeder auf den Felsen drauf gehen kann. Abnutzung gewiss.

Sehr schönes Naturschauspiel, gerade zum Sonnenuntergang wunderschön. Vor dem Treppenaufstieg ist ein Stempelkasten für die Harzer Wandernadel vorhanden. Auch für Kinder geeignet. Genügend Bänke vorhanden welche zum Verweilen und Aussicht genießen einladen.

Sehr schöner Ort. Der Fluss am Anfang des Aufstiegs lädt richtig zum Entspannen ein. Der Aufstieg ist durch die Treppen ein bisschen anstrengend, aber es lohnt sich

Tolles Ausflugsziel für eine Ausflugsdauer von ca. 40 min mit Fotos schießen. Man kann hier wunderbar lang wandern ohne große Anstrengung. Allerdings sind einige Stufen zu erklimmen.
