There’s a little walking trail here but nothing special. Better off going to Halls Gap Botanical Gardens if you’re looking for a nice easy stroll. I was in and out of the centre for 2 mins. Didn’t receive much help, recommendations or enthusiasm from the staff about where we can go for a nice walk. They have maps here but it is not free.

The original building which has been here for years is closed sign says it’s going to be renovated. The information centre has little information available which I was very disappointed. There is a gift shop but was a bit expensive. Was hoping to get a good map with clearly showed all the wonderland and surrounds walks. There doesn’t seem to be one available anywhere in Halls Gap. inside there is also a cafe which was closed, possibly effected by covid lack of staff. It has a lovely outside eating area. So when that is open as I assume it will be at some point or maybe only in peak times it would be a lovely lunch spot. There is a couple of walking tracks but not much to get exited about. Lots of parking.

I remember when this was being built and although it still looks good, some of the displays are getting tired, although the information is still good. Located just outside of Halls Gap you can walk or ride along well made paths. Inside is a small cafe where you can dine on fresh food and refreshments. Outside are some excellent interpretation boards that give a history of the area and the life prior to white settlement. The retail shop is extensive with lots of interesting items. There is plenty of parking under the shaded gums. The place is wheelchair friendly and in fact you can motor on your wheelchair from town to the centre. Very kid friendly with lots for the little ones to do. I would say you could spend at s minimum and hour here. There are tours available as well. Enjoy.

Staff at Information Center is knowledgeable about the area. You can see the Pinnacles Lookout towering over the Information Center. Cultural Center was closed and so was the cafe at Information Center. Gives some ideas what you should see and do if you are on a short or long visit.

A must see/do experience whilst visiting the Grampians. The film is very entertaining with the history of the area, from many perspectives. The cafe & gift shop are a delight. Try the Lemon Myrtle Scones with a coffee.... unreal, delicious. A memorable experience.

The staff are friendly, welcoming and full of knowledge that they are happy to share. The artwork and items for sale are all authentic Indigenous, which is really important for integrity and for the artists creating such beautiful items. Lots of choices for fabulous gifts here! There is a good range of books to extend and deepen one’s knowledge — there is always more to learn— and lots of free information for visitors and campers in the area.

The Brambuk the National Park & Cultural Centre is an excellent information facility located in Halls Gap to visit. It is in quick walking distance from the town centre along a well designated path. Staff are knowledgable and friendly, offering good advice on the features of the region. Maps for the various parts of the park and walking trails are available for purchase. Within the centre, the outline of indigenous history in the area is respectful and informative. The designated walks within the park and fairly easy and many forms of wonderful flora and fauna are to be seen. Brumbuk is well worth a visit if in Halls Gap!

Seriously great service. It was a last minute trip to head to the Grampians and we were concerned we would miss some of the amazing walks and sights, the team at Brambuk Information center were super helpful and guided my wife and I to where we should head within our time limit. They also have clean facilities and good food to offer. We even popped in during a down pour and they were happy for us to stay warm whilst we did some reading in the cafe. Keep up the amazing work!

At least the toilets were open. The cultural center is closed, seemingly for renovation. The café is also closed. The national park building has very little information about the area

information center open, but cultural center/museum closed due to water damage(?). cafe was also closed. information center sells a number of nice and interesting souvenirs and local products. worth checking out, but probably only indeed the cultural center is open. walking through to a large grass patch after the cultural center found us a number of emus and a few kangaroos!

So disappointing that the cultural centre and restaurant were still closed. I have visited 6 times over the last 8 years and only found the cultural centre open once and on another one occasion the restaurant was open. I only keep going back because want to visit the cultural centre again.... it was really interesting but needs more than one visit.

👍👍 Visited Halls Gap for a weekend and my partner and I went to this cafe twice. The cafe opened early, 7am which was really good for people who would like to make the most out of their day. On the first visit, I had their scrambled eggs with extra bacon and mushrooms and the Apple Carrot Ginger juic...

👍👍 Ate here twice. Food was very good quality and generous. Coffee was very enjoyable, a dark roast that still left some of the fruitiness of the coffee. A good choice for a simple meal that can easily be shared between two people with an informal atmosphere.
