There was a Chinese lady who registered me there. She took awful lot of time. Place is clean, tidy and the doctor I consulted for my medical was fair enough. Was not a big deal it was just for a blood test. They are expensive comparatively. Which I find a huge minus on them. You have on site parking. But I am doubtful whether have they got enough parking slots available.. When u r coming From Westfield Riccarton mall, it is on your left. Just by the road.. At the distance I would say u can not notice because the name board is covered by a tree. But still have to admire they were kind enough to keep the tree. But time to time it would have been good to proone so as the visibility increases.. When u r at the reception, it is not always comfortable to communicate with the receptionist as u might not hear what they say as it is covered and when it is a bit noisy..

Such a waste of time having an appointment here. Wait time is too long. If doctor can't see patient on time, what's the point of making an appointment? This place does not deserve any star. I waited 20 mins in the car park and called reception, reception said it is not their fault. Of course not your fault, it wasn't my fault either.

THIS RATING IS FOR SUPER RUDE RECEPTIONIST. The Doctor and Nurse was polite. Spare atleast an hour of time after making an appointment.on arrival I was told that doctor will see me shortly. After half an hour , I have asked a receptionist about my appointment ,she has mentioned that doctor has 2 more patients before me. I asked her that she should advise the patient and should set some expectation.she looked me like she couldn’t care less and says “ sorry about that”. i got my appointment after 65 mins and had to pay a late pick up fees for my child daycare.

My friend went in yesterday as he couldnt breath. Was given a inhaler but no ventilon or oxygen He was just told to take prednisone and consultation probably only took 3 mins with no thorough check. Paid $90 for that advice and went home only to be admitted to hospital an hour later seriously ill. Told if he hadnt gone to hospital would be dead now. Was not a good experience at all.

Have been enrolled for years but after a 5 minute phone consultation I was charged $50. I understand there's a flat fee but I think small exceptions such as this would be ethical. Didn't even respond to my email about this fee. I am also disadvantaged over the phone not being able to have monitoring or checks. It wasn't my decision to not have a physical consultation. Feel a bit ripped off. Will be enrolling elsewhere.

We made a appointment, but the doc forgot us at all. We have been waiting for whole afternoon. In the end, they just told us, we were closed. Horrible experience. Not only me, can you please go through your reviews, you will know who’s liar.

If I could give a 0 star rating or a minus I would. Expensive, doctors don’t care about their patients, the receptionists minus the odd one or two are lovely but don’t know what they are doing half of the time.

They are kind of rude at reception and discriminate on the basis of covid and non covid patients. I went today to ask for enrolment as new patients and she ask couple of question and when she came to know that I am close contact to Covid positive and suddenly her behaviour changed and she said we do not enrol new patients. Then when did you ask questions before. Feeling bad.

My mum had such a wonderful experience with Dr Colin today - he was very thorough, professional and empathetic. He even took her to see Jessica, the health improvement practitioner, to talk about sleep hygiene - also very lovely and gave amazing tips. Another special mention to Dr Kent - mum’s been seeing him for past 3 years and he’s always an amazing listener and so much empathy. Couldn’t fault this practice at all 😊

$25 to order a repeat on your prescription via the portal that you have to use is ridiculous. It takes the GP two clicks of a mouse button to process this request, $25 is just a blatant rip off.

A shout out for Lisa at Doctor‘s on Riccarton！She is so helpful and very professional, she explained everything we need to know about my mum’s medical check and followed up after got a reply from the doctor. I really appreciate her help and I am so happy that she is part of the team. thanks so much Lisa!

At least they were better than the previous Waimairi medical clinic that “medically gaslighted” my chronic illness, at least they didn’t judge me before doing a CT like the Waimairi clinic Dr J.A did . They were much faster at referring me to a specialist ,when Waimari medical Clinic took 1 year to just dismiss me without even letting me get tested.I had severe gut issues, that was making me pass out from the pain & fatigue ,I’m not even able to leave the house because of those symptoms, so I’m very mad at the previous clinic for thinking that’s normal and medically neglecting it, I hope this one’s not so bad.

I was waiting for my appointment for an hour and decided to leave after such a long wait as I couldn’t be waiting for any longer. We all have other commitments to do and wait to for a such long time is very unprofessional and unacceptable.

This has been my doctor to go to for a long time. I am so disappointed at the service there especially with appointment times. Several time I book my appointment with the receptionist and I end up waiting 30 to 45 min for my doctor appointment . No mention at the time of booking that there will be delays. Very poor and unprofessional . We have other commitments as well that we need to attend to .

Been going there for my whole life but the last few appointments we had to wait for around 45 mins to be seen, then when I had a phone consultation asked for a note just to state I have a certain condition I was told that they can’t provide me with a doctors note unless I’ve completely already failed my exam?? The whole phone call felt rushed and as if I was wasting his precious time when he could’ve been home (but it was over an hour since my appointment time).. then I got my letter after asking the doctor multiple times only for it to unprofessionally state that my condition which had been bothering me day and night for the last few months is unlikely to affect my studies, and that if I “bomb” my exam then they’ll advocate for me if I ask for it … I couldn’t even tell my teachers about my condition as the doctor had belittled it with such an unprofessional letter that made me sound like I was being dramatic

Very rude receptionists. I’m never late for my appointments here but Doctors can always be late. Unfortunately today I was late 20min (I did called saying I was running late as motorway had bad traffic coming from Rolleston) they told me to still come and wait. Than after waiting they said doctor couldn’t see me anymore because I was late! Very disappointed, make very difficult coming from Rolleston as they don’t have space available at Selwyn otherwise I would have changed my doctor already already!

Respectfully, please be more humane. My dad overcharged for asking too many questions in which he really did not. On my way inside my finger got jammed at the back door of this clinic when they closed on me so abruptly, very unlucky I know, and instantly got a painful blood clotted black nail, which I don't know when will recover. I was charged for a very brief consultation - make a small hole in the nail to release the blood..and fyi it's not working and my nail is still terrifyingly black. While I do understand we got to 'stick to the rules and fees displayed' perhaps head of the clinic could have made some exceptions for a quick help to an injury caused by their facilities. Futher apologies to the receptionist who my dad spoke unpleasantly to because he thought the whole situation was morally incorrect. Doctors time is valuable and expensive but so is everyone else too. I don't want to think we live in a world that just cares about making money.

Easy to find but Riccarton road is always busy. The staff look professional, although my appointment is 9:30am but I still waited for another 10mins for no reason.

I haven't seen all the Dr's here but the ones I have seen have been very friendly and helpful. Usually I find going to the Dr's awkward but never here. At previous Dr's I've been rushed out the door with a prescription only to go home and google the diagnosis but here they take the time to explain to me what is going on with my body in terms I understand. They have always made me feel comfortable when I'd usually feel embarrassed.

Dr Colin Chin is probably one of the most positive, friendly Drs you'll meet in Chch. And Dr Adrienne is also super supportive. I have nothing but praise for these amazing professional GP's.

Incompetent RUDE RECEPTIONIST!! I am a former patient residing o/s and I emailed & called this practice to get an opinion from my previous GP. Mary has no empathy is very rude inconsiderate & a narcissist. I will come there and I will see my GP and you can’t stop me whether I live there or not. You don’t talk to people like that.

Long wait times. Up to 45 minutes. I recommend a phone consult if not urgent. Staff seem friendly at reception. I do feel sometimes that the GPs are very rushed.

Dr Colin Chin is the best gp I could ever have. He analysed my health problem in so many occasions and concentrate on fixing the main issue straight away. Very grateful and hope he will have the best of health to help more people in pain
