If you're a Haltom City resident, this is an excellent place to work out. They have a great selection of equipment for the price u pay for a membership. Nice cool place to workout. It's alittle higher if you're not a resident, but still reasonable. I'm recovering from a stroke, the equipment meets my needs very perfectly

I had a party here and everything was ok, but this one lady in the front she had long curly hair. She had an attitude with EVERYONE there and my guests!!!! She had something smart to say after every question we had. We really didn't even feel welcomed, my party was fun but she was the kill of it.!!! She didn't do anything but just sit there so I don't know why she had a problem with doing anything we asked her. Definitely will NOT be back or have another party here with her still working there. The main front lady was very nice! But I don't know what her problem was, and if there was one she could have addressed it with me :)

Great place for the family, good sports programs (pee wee football and baseball). The other parents are where my problems with this are. It's not for babysitting (meaning, don't drop your kid off with no water and bail) and if you are required to wear a mask, wear the damn mask unless you don't care if the organization gets shut down by the city and you lose your money. People are the biggest problem.

Raised in the area and proud that my kids get to enjoy this rec center as well.

I like it because there's some shady parts, and new sidewalks, several new playgrounds and a spray park. The spray park is closed on Wednesdays and closes at 6. Only thing is there's only one picnic table so bring a blanket to sit on

Rude older lady at reception Desk. I approached to ask a few questions about the classes they offer and she acted so disgusted to even take the time to explain like I was bothering her

Went there to vote in the 2022 Primary Election. Parks and Rec should have allowed the polls to use the large room to set up so they could've had more room for voting machines. Took over 2 hours in line just to get to vote. Better still go back to paper ballots and you can fill them out on any flat surface in a pinch. The city should be ashamed of cramming something so important into a room not much bigger than a living room! At least we still have the right to vote.

We had A-blast at their Christmas on Broadway celebration! My students volunteered to help with the event. So I got the chance to walk around and take photos and interact with the community. We also got to make crafts and just have lots of fun with the kids.
