What a find! a true hidden breakfast gem. went at 10am on a Sunday and was not packed at all. greeted by friendly staff, from the hosts to our server. the food was fresh, warm, and delicious. the blue berry pancake - fluffy and cake like, hands down one of the best pancakes you'll ever have. the mimosas were delicious. 5🌟 all the way around.

Went for breakfast with my little, 2yo and 1yo. Everyone loved the food! The breakfast sausage we really liked but it does have a little kick that my 2yo thought was spicy. The waitress was kind and made sure our coffee was full. My husband really enjoyed his beef hash and my little boy loved eating his Dino shaped pancake!

Very good food, friendly staff, and hot coffee. Their cinnamon pancakes are good, but they are VERY sweet. Would go well with a regular pancake and some bacon (for salt).

A great, no frills, clean, fresh atmosphere. Staff was very attentive & friendly with an easy sense of humour. The homemade chips are wonderful & proof that they take great care of their fryer oil unlike too many other places. The chicken tortilla soup was of very high quality & flavour. Also had the fancy grilled cheese - the bacon was better than hoped, leaving us impressed. The turkey club was a perfect portioning of ingredients with the chipotle mayo being a real treat. Certainly going back, bringing family, friends & recommending strongly! Excellent experience all around!

Food was amazing staff was sweet and kind. You can tell this is a place who has regulars come out not for the food but for there service. From the hostess to the waiter I had a great experience. Now the mimosa was good and my breakfast/brunch was amazing as well. My pancakes was huge my turkey BLT was good as well.

Kinda fancy for a cafe, but I liked it. Service was adequate - the server was nice but I think the issue was that a couple of other parties arrived shortly after me and he was the only server working, so I feel it's a bit unfair to rate them based on that. I'll be coming back.

Been going here for years wife was pregnant then came with my baby girl was born, I bring family and I recommend it to friends. Simple breakfast spot with good coffee and flavor in everything they have. Denver omelet with sausage gravy on the side .Amazing. My baby girl loves the house Fries. Friendly staff .

Ok the cold brew was amazing! They use coffee ice cube!!! Loved that touch. Granola french toast. No picture of the benny. The bacon was over cooked but they happily remade that. Good service. Overall good experience. Close to home as well so I'll definitely be back!

Wonderful service even though it was busy, we were able to get a table fairly quick on a Sunday. We didn’t have to wait long for our food after we ordered. The staff showed great hospitality.

Kid and family friendly. Vanessa was our server and she was great. My wife had the chicken and waffles. Very delicious cinnamon waffle and the chicken was juicy. My child had a dinosaur chocolate chip pancake. I had the breakfast chorizo burrito. Everything was great!

Cinnamon roll pancake with cinnamon butter was amazing, waiter was very kind. Will def be back.

It's been a long time since I've eaten at the Sunny Street Cafe and going back today was a good reminder to return. The food was tasty, the portions were just right and the service was wonderful. I forgot the name of the gentleman that served my daughter and I but he was so sweet and attentive. Even though we liked different football teams, I still enjoyed his company. On some Sundays I want to go and get a bite to eat after church. Well, instead of traveling miles away, I'll just drive down the hill and enjoy the food at The Sunny Street Cafe 😊

What a find! We were on our way from a race in Fort Worth driving back to Denton and saw this place and stopped. So glad we did! We all agreed, this will be our new go to place. The food was so good! Veggie Omelet = AMAZING, yes, I said it, sure the menu says vegi's and egg whites which doesn't sound amazing, but it was! The Cinnamon Roll Pancake was HUGE and really just spectacular. STUFFED Biscuits and gravy, seriously too good to even believe. The environment is friendly and feels like home. The coffee cups were always full. Just so happy we found this place - YUM!

The chicken salad is PERFECT! Not dry or wet, not overwhelmed with onion. And the peach muffin- I should have ordered more than one. I got it to go and even hours later, after being in a fridge and microwaved at my house, it is SCRUMPTIOUS!! Not too sweet. Moist. You can taste the peaches. Hostess, waiter, and waitress were very nice. Sweet tea was meh, kinda weak, but a restaurant is more about the quality of food, and I was highly impressed.

Great breakfast place food has taste the place feels comfortable and like a family setting all the waitresses and serving staff are friendly had smiles and they all work together there was a lot of people there inside there were a few groups waiting to be seated but there still wasn't too long of a wait for the service they do they don't lack in treating customers and food with care I'm from out of state come to see my family I will stop again even before I leave

My husband and I went there for the first time this weekend. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The orange juice was very good. However, my eggs and hash browns tasted like they were soaked in butter, my husband's steak and eggs were cold. We both got very upset stomachs after eating there. I was rather disappointed because I had been wanting to eat there for a long time. I wish I could say it was a better experience, but unfortunately it was not.

Atmosphere is calm setting. However the food is bland. I had a chicken and waffles with scrambled eggs with cheese. Now my eggs had a cheese that was a running milk type. When you look on the website of chicken and waffles you see a nice piece of chicken and a waffle. Well the chicken I got was a thin piece of sliced meat. And a tasteless waffle. Only 1 cup of syrup and no butter. I would say this may be the locals fav place. But I wouldn’t recommend it , if you like flavorful food. Especially when the total was 57 dollars for 2 chicken and waffles and a cup of oj 🙄🙄🙄

Was there a year ago while I was having an oil change up the street. I wasn't all that impressed but thought they may have changed over the period of the year. Spent a good 5 minutes plus looking at the menu and did not find a single thing that appealed to me. Ended up just getting a slice of toast. Just something about the place that does not impress. Maybe it's just me!

Love their grits and orange juice. You never have to wait in line. It doesn't take long to get your food after you order.

Brought my elderly father as soon as they opened. Little bit of syrup on the bench, but I don't think any of them were expecting someone the second the doors unlocked. Server warmed throughout the meal too. Food is fantastic as always. Coffee was quite welcome.

The best chicken fried steak I remember ever having, very delicious grits, expertly toasted sourdough bread, perfectly cooked eggs...overall such a fantastic meal! I know next to nothing about food except what tastes good - the food here tastes good! Great service as well, and a pleasant atmosphere.
