👍👍 I like the shaded areas, and there are 2 separate parks, a spray park, ball fields and Pavillion. The restrooms are locked sometimes, but they don't have a water fountain that I know of. People often mention park,

Nice little park. Everything looks well maintained. There are two playgrounds: one by the basketball courts and one by the baseball fields. They are not large, but done well. The splash pad has good variety. There are trees around to provide some shade. There is a bathroom available.

I can remember when this Park was way different than it is now. Once upon a time there was a Miniature Golf Course here. And a Giant Hill with a Lookout Tower. A Submarine, A Concrete Tunnel you could ride your bike through, or Hide Out in when it started raining.... It would be better if it actually had a Indoor Swimming Pool, but instead we have a Splash Playground that the 10 and under crowd can take a bath in during the summer only and only from 8-5. The surrounding cities with Public Swimming Pools are looking better and better! 🙃

They really need to get new umps. There is this old white man that umps here and he is literally the worst. Every year tons of parents complain but no one does anything. It's so frustrating for the kids!

It’s not awful, it was VERY clean. One of the biggest downfalls was I got my 2 year old all hyped up for the splash pad and it doesn’t work. There was a homeless lady at the playground the entire time we were there, she was talking to herself and walking around. I know it’s super hot and she needs shade too so it didn’t bother me too much but I had to make sure my friendly toddler didn’t run to her. Also, a few other suspicious cars in the parking lot but they were minding their business, and some covered up graffiti on the outside of the bathrooms, so I wouldn’t come in the evening. It’s probably a great park during baseball games, while there is other people and children around.

A decent place to bring the young ones. After the remodel just wish there was more table.

We were told about this park by one of the Haltom City workers! We didn’t even know it was tucked back behind the Rec Center WITH a splash pad. He also said it has just been completed and since not many people know it’s ready it isn’t as crowded as White’s Branch Park. There is a tennis court, baseball field, basketball court, play equipment and splash pad (open Memorial Day to Labor Day, everyday except Wednesday starting at 10am). My kiddo was so excited to play today and no one else was here, so we got to enjoy the whole facility to ourselves. I know by writing this review it’ll attract more kids but that’s okay, there’s plenty of room for everyone to enjoy this space :)

Loved the lights after it got dark. Parking lot is too small.

This park isn't bad. A lot of playground equipment a small ballpark is great if you have kids but for what I need it for walking my dogs and getting some exercise it's just not big enough for me

Don't park by the football fields (on Joy Lee Rd) if you have anyone in a wheelchair because there is no wheelchair access whatsoever on that side. The 2 openings in the fence have a perpendicular fence panel placed barely more than 2 feet from the fence, so the space to walk through would be tight for a very large person. We had to walk all the way around all the fields and back over to the baseball field side to get onto the football fields. The terrain outside the fence is totally uneven and the holes would have caused his powerchair to tip over if not for the anti-tip wheels. Handicapped access should not be limited to one place in a large area such as this park.
