Great place for tacos al pastor. Their tortas are also really good. Really recommend!

I moved here from Washington state but was born an raised in SoCal. Mexican food in Texas has been garbage until I came here!!!! This place reminds me of everything I grew up with in Cali. Love it

The tacos here are delicious. I tried the steak, chicken, and pastor. They all had great flavor. The red and green sauces are really good as well. I would recommend giving this place a try. It has definitely earned a spot on my favorites list.

First visit and did not disappoint. The prices, service, quality of food were pretty good. No complaints . Trompo tacos were nice and cripsy great flavor with generous amount of food. A huge gordita with good chicken. It is located inside a gas station, but if food is good location does not matter. Will visit again

its ok food ,But for $53 I can go to a really nice steakhouse for that price for 2 people . Ill have to say , I probably won't be returning to this place.Its just too high for what it is . There plenty other places way cheaper around here. By they way i had 2 chili relleno plates and some tamales.

Check your plate before leaving! This place is a hit or miss and for a majority of the times you'll get burnt meat. The cilantro and onions are mixed together when they give you your sides but not a big deal. Customer service is good but definitely annoying to always see burnt food when we get home.

The place looks appealing from the parking. Once inside, I headed to the food corner and since I wasn't fluent in Spanish, they called someone who could speak English. As per the recommendation of fellow reviewers, I ordered the Taco de Trompo and I did not regret it. It was amazing and the corn tortillas it comes with marry with it amazingly. I didn't know chicken could go this well with pineapple but it did!! Definitely going again to try other dishes in the menu. Be abit patient as it gets busy sooo fast. Caro was just awesome.

Beans were gross the menu was misleading says free drink but no choice on what you get and won’t even compromise for the misunderstanding. Food is gross stay away. I threw it away. Waste of money. Go to fuel city instead.

Atmosphere is a little off due to it being in a gas station. But the food is cheap and it taste great!

Only getting 3 stars because the food is decent. Used to go here because it's cheap. Now it's very expensive. 30 something dollars for 10 tacos lmao. The people are rude, racist, and don't care if they get your business. They speaky no English so I hope you speak Spanish like I do cause they will not try to understand you and will hang up on you. The place has a dirty feel to it. It's small, can be hot and even more rude in person. They definitely don't deserve business and I avoid going over there because of their rude service. Plus, again, if you look at the kitchen it looks sooo disgusting. I know that place isn't clean.

Best pastor/trompo and Barbacoa I’ve had. People giving this place two stars obviously don’t know their tacos. I almost didn’t come here because the good reviews rating wasn’t very high. I’m so glad I did!

Gas station tacos? I’m in!!! I didn’t do my regular photos shoot, just didn’t think about it. If you’re in or near Haltom City stop in for some trompo tacos! This is their signature taco meat. Each taco is $2.79 or you can get 10 for $15…. I tried different tacos rather than just getting 10 of the same. Barbacoa is on point Trompo is on point Tripa is on point (ask for extra crispy) Caldo de res is on point Green and red sauce are both on point

Had some of the trompo … 10 tacos for $13.95 and omg I swear these are the best trompo tacos on this side of town. Hands down. The people that work here are very nice. They take cash or credit. Pay for all your drinks and food up front at the register.
