I love black owned businesses especially if the people actually know what they are doing. They are so good at what they do. I booked my appointment for me and my kids and we were all happy campers after the piece of art was done. I would recommend her anyday. A bit of a drive from my house but it was worth every galon.

I've had braids before but never with hair added to it so this was a first. They explained what type of braid and size would be best for my hair type and I greatly appreciate their honesty and time. Very friendly and welcoming environment. Definitely recommend.

This was my first time getting my hair braided in a salon and they did FANTASTIC, I love the way my hair came out, they gave the best service all the way around hands down!!

The environment is Very beautiful spacious and Clean , But The service I received I was BEYOND disappointed, I have Never Hated My Hair Until Now !!! When I went to the salon I walked in with the intention of getting jumbo knotless braids , the owner talked me into getting Medium Knotless braids I had 3 different woman working on my head before I even sat in the chair I stressed that I want my hair tucked well in the braid due to me having short hair. Half of my hair was knotless and half was box braids :( most of my hair was popping out of the braids so the owner was VERY KIND about coming back and fixing it , so when I went back I asked for jumbo KNOTLESS again … mind you I paid 252 for what was suppose to be knotless waist length ( the first time ) the second hair style honestly made me want to cry it’s even worse then the first style ! My hair is only 24 hr in and already all my hair is popping out and it’s not JUMBO braids it’s JUMBO parts with medium braid this isn’t what I asked for at all . I wouldn’t recommend someone with short silky hair to come here. I’m very disappointed I waisted my time TWICE and my money !

I've had this salon on my radar for a while. They have great reviews and a great location. I was a little apprehensive as I don't get my hair done often, and I've never had box braids, but I'm very glad I went to them. I had a last minute appointment on a weekday afternoon. I asked about my length, as I'm currently growing out a fade/undercut, and they assured me that it was no problem. We went over what I wanted, and they helped me decide on a style and color. They checked in periodically about the length or tightness, and if I needed a break or water. They quickly rectified anything I wasn't completely happy with. All in all, I spent about 4 hours there and left very happy. My braids are tight and secure, but not painful. I've gotten a ton of compliments. I'll definitely head back when it's time for my next style.

This was the first and last time I go to this braid shop. I was charged $40 more than I was quoted when I went in to inquire about their braid services. Korah remembered me because she said it's good to see you again. I will say that if the hair was a different texture than what she had expected, this should have been relayed to me before starting the service so that I could make the decision. I paid $180 for crochet braids. I get my hair braided every 2 months so it hopefully stands as a lesson that if you give good, expected service, you retain a customer. This was a last minute decision to get the braids that day and they were wide open and able to get me in because they didn't have any other customers. I now see why they didn't have customers.
