The food was good and the portions were as large as I remember. It may not be the 5 Star food it once was but it was still a good meal with a very good value for the cost. The service was very good as well. They were very on top of your needs without constantly hovering. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the bathrooms - not nasty, but did need more cleaning.

I have loved this place since i was a kid. Came back to town and was so happy they are still here! Everything was just as delicious as i remembered! Definitely support this business, you wont be disappointed!

OK so I am so impressed with my dinner I have stopped eating to right this review. I can't remember when was the last time I've had Chinese food this good. The flavors are so loud it's amazing. Everyone in the area and others need to come eat here. I swear you will not be disappointed

I want to know who this place paid to give such positive reviews because the food we received wasn't even worthy of the 1 star this review is giving. 1) Nothing had flavor. Well not nothing... Just the main ingredients. The chicken in the cashew chicken had zero flavor...not even chicken flavor. The canned mushrooms added were gross, next to the obnoxious amount of bitter celery in there. The sauce tasted like straight hoisin. The General's Tso's sauce was cooked too long and burnt both in taste and in visuals. The egg roll was mealy and oily yet shockingly no flavor. Smothered in the sauces was the only way to eat it but after 2 bites I was like "why bother? The fried rice tasted "musty." The lo mein had NO flavor but hoisin. And again with the gross canned button mushrooms. Yikes. 2) The soups. I was hoping the wonton soup was going to be decent. But as soon as I saw the brown water, I knew. Why was it dark brown?!?!?! Then the actual wontons were almost all wrapper. Rename that to wonton wrapper soup to be accurate. So disgusting. Thank goodness they barely gave me any in the large we ordered. The small egg drop soup was the worst. Zero salt and rancid tasting. Did they use the cleaning water as the soup base? This place is the worst Chinese food I've had. The people praising this place are why there are trust issues in the world.

Main lesson from this food purchase: - Don’t write reviews when you’re upset Unfortunately I feel I have a duty to save people money and warn them from extremely unsatisfactory food. I trashed 3/4 of the food I purchased. $45 3 entrées 2 egg drop soup (Ate the egg rolls) Rice was terrible I’m simply disappointed with the inability to find any quality Asian take out cuisine. Forget this place.

So bad. Cold chicken I ordered orange chicken tasted like it was sitting in coffee very disgusting would not try. save your money and get Panda Express, or any other Chinese place 🤢😞 2 stars because they have good egg rolls but my orange chicken order was like nothing I had before not good.

Very friendly attentive staff, met us with kindness coming in and shook our hands thanking us when we left. Food was very good and service was great.

A 1 star is not truly sufficient for my experience. I ordered and my order was not only not delivered with everything I paid for. It was extremely late. The guy who answered the phone was rude and told me he didn’t have time to deal with me and hung up when I requested a refund for the missing items and/or a redelivery. We requested silverware multiple times before the order and it came with none. Very inconvenient when ordering food for lunch at the office. Customer service goes a long way and there is none at this establishment.

This is an old fashion restaurant experience..a throw back to earlier years when the food was excellent along with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I have never been disappointed with the service nor the cuisine. No buffet available here which helps make the dining much more personal and enticing.

Wowww yes! Very delicious and fresh yummy chicken sticks! I was starving and there’s no other place I would go then to this amazing hidden spot that serves amazing food !!!! Friendly, clean and very scrumptious!!!! Love it , mouth watering experience!

I'm sorry but this place was awful. None of the food was hot. All lukewarm. No paper towels in the bathroom. Server was a little rude. The host was nice. I hate to leave a bad review, but this was a total strikeout. Sorry. I'll never go back.

I was in the mood for Chinese food. Haltom Chinese offers convenient service, speedy delivery, reasonable prices and quality food. I ordered the egg drop soup and beef fried rice. The beef fried rice is good in general but the taste explodes and you can taste the veggies in the rice and the flavor of the meat when you add “spicy” to it. The egg drop soup had good consistency and texture to it, however, it lacked flavor. I even tried to add salt at home to enhance the flavor. It didn’t work. I’ll have to try something different next time. All around good experience, though.

They brought me a bill and I said that I would pay with a card. I was told that I should pay a tip and immediately brought a laptop in which I had to choose one of 3 positions. The first position was 18%, and then ascending. Everything happened in a polite manner, but the process itself was so arrogant that it became very unpleasant. I ordered 2 dishes: Mongolian beef and Kung pao chicken. It could have tasted better too.

Incredible honestly the best tasting Chinese food I've had in Texas hands down. All original Chinese food that I used to grow up on from cashew chicken to Sesame Chicken all the originals. The egg drop soup to the crackers to the rice I'll be down to the original plates that you see at Chinese restaurants just amazing loved it loved it loved it priced right as well! Hands down no if hands what abouts I will drive another 42 minutes again to go back there and eat. I actually found the place just driving through town and we ate there! I extremely highly recommend you going there

I had the MooShu beef. It was outstanding and a big portion for the price. Veggies were crisp, and beef was tender. It's an old location but, don't let that stop you from going there. Drive on out, pull up a chair, and enjoy some friendly people and good food!

Its not surprise that this place has lasted for 40 years. ItFriendly, fast service. Fresh , well prepared food. The vegetables were crisp. The shrimp were impeccably fresh and not over cooked. Prices were very reasonable. A rare example of a very good Chinese restaurant in North Texas. Definitely coming back.

First time coming here. I got so happy when an actual Chinese person handed me my food. But it was ok .... I really didn't like the fact that the Kung Pao Chicken had 2,000 peanuts in the one order. I do not like peas and carrots in my fried rice as the original does not call for those two little ingredients. I would not chose this as my go to Chinese food. Coming from a place where we had awesome Chinese restaurants (California) it has been very hard finding good Chinese here in Texas. Dissapointed. Kinda expensive too.

First time at the restaurant and it was excellent. Great lunch specials. Hong Kong shrimp was fantastic! I have to have that again! Would definitely come back!

Ordered a shrimp fried rice and was a little bit concerned when they handed me a regular brown lunch bag. I thought there was no way this would be enough for. Trust me Regen I say they pack the food in there. I didn't give it 5 stars because the shrimp were only slightly larger than what I consider "bait shrimp." But that seems to be part for the course no matter where I order shrimp fried rice from since Covid

Very satisfied 1st chinese food I have found that's good since I have moved here. About 4 years ago Speedy delivery and there pork fried rice was awesome closest to New York style !! Will 100% recomend I ended up ordering from them a second time within a week the order ended up being wrong but they were very quick and correcting it very friendly very polite and apologized this place is AWESOME !

The portion sizes are very small for the cost. My order was wrong. I ordered combination fried rice but got chicken fried rice with very little chicken. Parts of the rice and chicken were scorched. I asked for extra duck sauce and no soy; got 2 duck sauces and 2 soy. I also ordered the wontons, which were over priced also, they were a little chewy in the center. Overall I was extremely displeased!!! It's hard to find a really good Chinese place in the Haltom, Richland Hills area.

The food was delicious and our delivery was on time with a very courteous driver. We bought food for a large family, it arrived timely and still hot from the kitchen! We'll definitely be returning customers!! Thank you!

Great little gem of Haltom City restaurants. The building definitely shows its age, but the food and service is still top-notch. Some of the best orange chicken I've tasted in a good long while, not too fried, and no nasty, sticky orange glaze. The hot and sour soup was fantastic, with just the right amount of heat. If you're in the area and craving Chinese, you'd be foolish to go elsewhere.

Ordered delivery. Food arrived hot and very quick. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. To say it was delicious doesn't do it justice. Will definitely order again and recommend to our family and friends. Keep up the good work!!!
