This place was awesome!! Just a peaceful walk while enjoying nature! Got an opportunity to meet Marcus, he's the guy that helps keep up the park! Very knowledgeable and nice guy! He explained the park layout and was able to direct me to where I could find more nature! I will be back to visit! Thank you Marcus!

Nice walking trails, little play area for kids but overall good size for the secluded location. Not anywhere I would expect to see a park. But very neat.

love this place I used to take my son here when he was 3 in 2009 and he would ride his bike down the hills/trails fearless little guy! he got to hand feed the squirrels it was very good memories so pleasant. Now he is 15 and this is the first time we have been back and they have since then taken out the playground and now have a really nice basketball court and they still have the swings. We tried to feed the squirrels but the one squirrel we saw was too scared but it was still a very nice quality time to spend with my son. we walked the entire trail... it was really hot so I definitely recommend going early in the morning around 7 a.m.

Its a beautiful park but some people feel its nesscary to throw trash within the park and not in the trash. Other than that its a great little park with picnic tables and BBQ grills along the trail.

Peaceful, clean trails for walking/biking. There's are multiple picnic tables with grills located throughout as well. Great way to spend an hour or two!

This place is beautiful and has something for everyone, including a playground for kids, a basketball court, the river, and a walking/biking path.

Without doing the whole trail we did the start up an restroom. There's a beautiful new building that is in front parking lot an it was locked up. There was the 2 restroom I pictured. They were open an work. This is supposed to be 95 acres on park so this is a few snaps. Gotta go again.

Surprising amount of biodiversity for a park that's tucked away in a city. There's some recreation areas for basketball, picnic, and a play area for children. I saw a couple of small off the pavement trails and while they're less than 100 feet, it was enough to "almost" make you forget that you're in the middle of civilization. I saw teenagers and parents with their kids here. Good beginner level park but great if you're into local insects and birds.

Great trails with little access points to water. There construction going on right now, I’m not sure what they are doing

beautiful paths, gorgeous streams with little bridges over them where you can see it clearly, big enough for bikes and people to walk and ride on multiple ways. all i can say is this is where i feel the most at peace, in the middle of the trees at night; with my bike headlight on and the trail in front with music playing. it’s just heaven for me!

... One of the things I have always admired about the various parks departments in the Metroplex is the creative use of what was once considered junk land, creeks, rivers and floodplains, turning them into some of the best parks 🏞️ to be had... ... Weaving together hiking and biking trails from one end of Tarrant county to the other, transporting ourselves, with the simple act of walking through our urban wilderness, uncluttering my mindset and breathing in a fresh perspective on life, ready again to take on the world... ... Anywho that's how it works for me...

This is a really nice park. They are doing construction on the baseball field, but the rest of the park is great. Nice paved trails, mostly shaded, outdoor basketball court, nice playground, many picnic tables scattered along the trail with paving up to and under the tables so a wheel chair could go there. There was a nice group of picnic tables under a nice room for bad weather and nice restrooms at the parking lot. The trails connect the park to many other areas along the Big Fossil Creek river.

Pavillion is dirty Cobb webs over a year old on the ceiling looks like I'll have to clean it myself before my wedding. Bathrooms are pretty clean but hot. Beautiful Bridge

Very nice clean park. There were a few here on a Saturday afternoon. But the place is huge, so lots of room to spread out. But someone alone would feel pretty safe. Lots of nice picnic tables. There was Bball court and some other sport's areas. Then a nice long trail that feels like your outside of the city.

Very nice trails, but the trails are a bit redundant, with turns bringing you close the route you just walked. There are some nice picnic areas however, and a pretty creek running through the Eastern edge of the area.

Enjoyed lunch under the shaded eating area to the left of the playground. Crossed the wooden bridge and took a nice walk half way through the trail getting off trail to see the lake running near the path.

I’m a runner and Enjoyed the nature. Had a way of making you feel truly in nature without having to go 30 minutes outside of town. Nice park area for kids that is well maintained. Only gripe is there was a lot of dog doo piles In the grass next to the trial. Not really the parks fault but it’d be cool if folks picked up after their pups.

Pretty run down. The kids did get a kick out of pulling a shopping cart out of the creek with a magnet. Lots of trash around the trails and could definitely use a nice cleanup.
