I've ordered from here many times but haven't gotten the chance to sit down and have a meal. I finally was able to and though I wanted to enjoy outdoor dining it wasn't set up yet. The food is delicious I have yet to order something that wasn't great. I've gotten many cheesesteaks and they were always tasteful. The honey mustard that comes with their chicken fingers is a shining star and should definitely be ordered. I enjoyed many plates of wings and they were crispy, flavorful, and the double hot actually had heat. My sever was Sue and she was an absolute pleasure to have. Thank you Sue for your kindness and upbeat attitude.

Besides getting married and having kids, the best experience in life is stumbling onto a restaurant by chance and feeling like you struck gold. You want to tell everyone, but you also want to tell no one. Pete’s Steak House, in Hamilton is the real deal and a gem. The dining room and bar is vintage old time New Jersey decorated with generational family photos. It reminds me of Rossi’s from the ole Chambersburg, Trenton days. The menu favors mostly classic Italian with a mix of ruebens, pizza, and fish and chips. The portions are robust and presented in an authentic manner. The food is delicious, hot to the touch, and the fried food is cooked in same day oil. You soon realize this restaurant feeds the neighborhood as the patrons are local and the prices are extremely affordable. Everyone is nice and it’s easy to engage each other in conversation. I can’t say enough great things about Pete’s Steak House. This is a great place to eat, love, pray and reconnect with what was so good about simpler times.

Good place for Italian food with the ambience of an average bar for prices and services. You can get some quality food while not overpaying for drinks and a whole bunch of chain restaurant atmosphere. The staff were nice. The place has parking in front of the building and an auxiliary shared lot behind it. I included pictures of both private rooms in case you have a larger group like we did when going there.

I had the Delmonico Steak Sandwich with Cheese and Onion..Very good Sandwich..Excellent Service

My wife and I went here a few months ago. We got seated and waited 28 minutes before a waitress came to see us after i reminded the manager we were there. My wife ordered a cheese steak and I ordered a Delmonico steak, it was a cheap strip steak, not a rib eye. We waited about 50 minutes from when we ordered to when it arrived to our table. My wife's cheese steak was between room temperature and cold. my steak was not only cold, but sat on the plate so long before being served all the juice ran out of it i am surprised it didn't drip off the plate on the way to the table, it was tough, dry and cold. The steak litterly looked like it was sitting in soup broth. I returned the steak, my wife ate her sandwich, she was really hungry and said it would have been really good if it was at least warm. The waitress had an attitude, when we ordered she asked if we wanted bread we said no thanks and she asked again and we replied no thank u and that we are trying to keep the extra carbs down, she rolled her eyes and waddled away, but then again she must have been well over 300lbs. I didn't shame u for eating junk, so don't shame us for not eating junk. I ended up going down the road and getting sushi, rather than wait 50 minutes again for a steak they can't cook right and get to the table in a timely manner. This place should be embarrassed to call themselves a steak house. Any waitress with an ounce of experience should have known better and not have served a steak like that, the place must be full of drunks that will eat anything u put in front of them. Maybe this place is OK and I just got a lazy fat slob waitress that made the place look horrible, but unfortunately this was our experience.

I ordered a jack Daniels honey neat in a rocks glass, and he brought in with ice which was wrong. Then we ordered the antipasto with Italian bread, and we never got the Italian bread. We ordered a Brooklyn margarita pie with sausage and it never came with basil and turns out it was a tomato pie. I talked to the maître d’ and I asked if he was the manager and he said I could be the manager depends on what your complaint is as he didn’t want to bother the owners. Was completely disrespectful when I said I want to pay the bill waited 20 minutes later and the original waiter came over and I asked him to wait till we left to clear the table and he said he has more class in his pinky than I do in my whole body completely disrespectful! I will never go to this place again they take care of their own people and it doesn’t matter if they disrespect you.

Even though everything I saw photos of on the menu looked phenomenal, I went to Pete's to give the Tomato Pie a shot. I couldn't resist starting off the visit with the buffalo wings! Fried and crispy, the delicious (mild) sauce had just enough heat to keep me coming back for more! When the tomato pies came out, they looked awesome! Although the sauce had a superb tomato flavor and the amount of cheese on the pie was just right, there was something "off" with the dough. While it was definitely crisp, it seemed stale and not very fresh, which gave the dough an odd texture... a bit disappointing. Maybe it was just my particular pizza that night, I'm not sure. Regardless, Pete's Steakhouse Tavern had a great atmosphere and friendly staff!! I would definitely go back to Pete's to give some of the other menu items a try!

The place was packed, good thing my friends saved a table earlier in the day. As we were waiting for our friends to arrive we stood at the bar for a few drinks. We talked to regulars and they said everything on the menu was good, and the sandwich he was eating did look delicious. Once we were settled in at our table, we placed an order for mussels and a few more drinks. The mussels arrived and we continued to place our orders. Everyone ordered steak potatoes and green beans. The steak was tough and fatty over cooked. I ordered medium and it arrived well my friend ordered medium well and it was rare. The sides were delicious. A few of my friends ordered chocolate cake, and they said it was ok and only ate half of it. The service was slow getting drinks again the place was packed. Live music started at 9:30 and it got loud. If you go to see the band I would suggest getting there early to get a seat. It's a steak house. My friend told us that the steak usually tastes better. The prices were good $17 for a steak and $10 for mussels beer $4.50. We would have to give this place another shot and see how it is when it's not so busy. They could have been under staffed in the kitchen.

My husband likes it there, I went with him a few days ago and we ordered a meat lovers pizza and it was so good! So yummy! I also ordered a Pomegranate martini and that was amazing! Best martini I ever had, looking forward to visiting this place more and trying more items off their menu.

Pete's catered dinner for my wife's 50th birthday party yesterday. Party of 40 and Rich knocked it out of the park! The food was delicious and all the guests were impressed and full. Our menu included antipasto, vodka rigatoni, chicken francese, sausage and peppers, and roasted potatoes. Home run!!

The food is always amazing & the portions are huge. One of my favorite places to go, have never been disappointed. This was the Breaded Chicken Cutlet Chicken Murphy on the specials menu & it was so delicious. I will definitely order it again, if available. It came with a side of pasta or potato & veg. I had the pasta. Their sauce is so delicious , I wanted to lick the plate, lol!! Also came with soup or salad. I always have their house sausage soup which I absolutely love 🤩!!

We had a grilled Ruben with fries, also wing & rib sample plate. Ruben was really good stacked with meat with a good amount of dressing. The wings were meaty with good flavor. The ribs had a nice smoke taste, nor quite falling off the bone but tender enough to enjoy. Service was good very pleasant. The Atmosphere was almost a sports bat feel.

Everyone here is so friendly. I had a burger and it was delicious. The food here is so tasty. I’ve been here a few times and I will definitely keep coming.

I just can't nail it wings taste really different could be me but we loved the. For yrsssa and last night they just didn't taste the same maybe the meat? Bar pie stil good and salad, seenm tons of sandwiches coming out the kitchen too really affordable

First time back in a few years as I moved away. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The food was exactly what I was looking for - hearty and indulgent and the prices were great. I will definitely be coming back more often when back in town.

This was my first visit to Pete's. I had the Roman chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich was excellent. Pete's uses a sharp provolone on this sandwich that is reminiscent of the sharp provolone used in Philadelphia for the roast pork sandwiches. Also, the fries were properly done. They were firm and crisp without being overcooked or greasy. I highly recommend Pete's if you're in the area.

I have be a customer for over 10yrs, the food is always great and their prices are very fair even in this crazy economy. The waitstaff are always very pleasant and treat their new customers like their "regulars". Try the Rice balls trust me they are like fried heaven 😋

Antipasta was so big couldn't finish but delicious. Fish n chips also a lg portion but dynamite. Took home a sausage, omg, I was not sharing that . Next time lg pie. Definitely going back. Great prices

Can say enough about Pete's. Great local place in Hamilton. The prices are great and staff is friendly. Great sandwiches, beer and pizza. The Italian plates are hearty and on point. Would recommend anytime!

I go for first time and I love .The staff was very friendly. The place is very clean . The food came out delicious. I had the tomatoes pie with pepperoni which I would recommend. This is a good place to catch up with friends over good food and drinks just leave extra time.

Place stinks like old water mop. I ordered a simple a cheesesteaks it was awful. Tomatoes and lettuces were soggy bread was hard as a rock and service was terrible. I will never order anything from there if the stinks I can imagine the kitchen....

Let me first say - putting the following unfortunate experience aside – I love Pete’s Steak House for dinner – the specials are delicious, the prices are great and the atmosphere is festive. However - yesterday August 5, 2022 me and my partner stopped in to Pete’s Steak House for lunch. We both ordered Eggplant Parmesan Sandwiches and we were going to share a side of fries. Let me describe in detail the Eggplant Parmesan Sandwiches that we were presented with. On each plate was a 12 inch loaf of Italian bread – which was cut in half and cut open. It actually appeared to be nothing more then a loaf of Italian bread – but if you opened the bread – what you saw was an oblong – breaded piece of eggplant – one on each half of the loaf of bread. Yes there was a drop of red sauce on each piece of eggplant – but not enough to cover all of the bread crumbs on each piece. Yes I could actually see in part a breaded piece of eggplant. Honestly I can not remember if there was any mozzarella cheese – but there had to be some. The sandwich just looked dry and – well a loaf of bread with bread crumbs. As a side note Pete Steak House occasionally employee’s waitresses that eat nails and drink drano and unfortunately we had one on this day. When we said the sandwiches were not acceptable – she said –I didn’t make the sandwich, that is the way it comes, you guys do this every time you come in here. She took the sandwiches and stormed into the kitchen – as you heard her yelling to the cook – they don’t want the F**king sandwiches. Mind you this played out in front of 10 or 12 other customers – who heard her cursing from behind the kitchen door. We paid for our drinks and left – When is Pete's Steak House going to get rid of these dinosaurs? UPDATE I recently went to another local resturant and once again ordered an Eggplant Hero - Let me show you what a good hero looks like - now to be honest I would have settled for half of what this sandwich looks like - "Half"

After waiting close to an hour everyone's meal came out cold or overcooked. We were told too many people came at once and the kitchen was understaffed which could he understandable, however being served a salad on special with rotted blueberries is unacceptable. The owner didn't seem to care, simply stated the food got cold I'm re cooking it. After an hour and 30 minutes we left

Great food and drinks always. But what makes this place exceptional is their service. Noah our server took good care of us, very friendly and attentive which made our night tonight!😌

Great bar/grill for a few drinks and a casual meal. The food is tasty and pretty fast, the Philly cheese steak was awesome. Service was great and on the Friday we went thru had a live band playing. Not the fanciest looking place but don't let that keep you from trying it out.
