This restaurant is outstanding. The food is exceptionally good, the staff couldn't be friendlier, and the Ambience outside and in is exceptional. My wife and l were taken there for my birthday by our great friends Dominick and Debbie. We will absolutely be returning to this restaurant...The cake was decorated by a very young girl who wanted to have a try at decorating. This only added to the charm of the evening 🙂

The last time we ate at John Henry's was close to twenty years ago, before it became The Stone Terrace, when the restaurant was still located in its original Chambersburg/"Burg" location in Trenton. Now the restaurant is a part of a much bigger complex, a venue offering banquet facilities and is popular for weddings and other celebrations. John Henry's still retains its initial seafood specialization but also offers pasta dishes, chops and steaks. The dining area is divided into the main bar counter room, marked by its energetic environment, with the adjacent spacious dining hall.

I wish I could give 6 stars!!!!! The Stone Terrace has been amazing and gone above and beyond, especially during a pandemic. We had our engagement party, micro wedding reception, bridal shower, and just had our full wedding reception (and after party) on Saturday. They made me feel so comfortable and Joelynn was always available to answer any questions I had. I gave them all of our decorations and they displayed it even better than I could have done myself. And the food - our guests are still raving about the food! Everything was so delicious. Service was amazing as well! I highly recommend having your event(s) here. I definitely plan on having my future events here.

We ate on the terrace it was a beautiful evening. The atmosphere and the back ground music was nice. Drinks, wine, oyster casino & calamari were enjoyed. There were four of us, the crab cakes & fish were good. Beware when ordering the pasta & crabmeat, it is soft shell crab so you have to work for it. I had the Alaskan crab legs and was very disappointed, already cracked and loaded with old bay, was very dry. I should have given back ($65) but didn’t want a fuss, expensive green bean & potato dinner. Desserts and coffee were nice. Service was okay left 18% $373 for 4

I can’t say enough good things about the stone terrace. We had our wedding here Saturday October 2, 2021 and every single person left raving about the food all the way from cocktail hour to dinner. Joelynn was absolutely on top of everything at all times through the whole process. Joelynn was also instrumental in the success of our event all night. We booked our date originally back in February 2020 and the whole staff at stone terrace kept in communication the entire time and always answered any questions we had. The wait staff was friendly, quick, efficient, and took care of any off the cuff requests our guests had immediately. I would highly recommend booking any event here as the team will always make it a success.

My husband and I eloped back in March, and over the weekend, we had our "reception" at this gorgeous place! We come to eat here quite often, and food is always incredible! However, we never experienced the party/venue side of The Stone Terrace before, until now. After the amazing experience we had with Trish, there was no need to look any further. We are beyond happy with how everything turned out! From the very beginning, my husband and I were very pleased with every aspect of this experience. Trish was absolutely incredible! She continued to take time out of her busy schedule to meet up with us if we needed anything. She made us feel very special in every way and we couldn't be more grateful! As the planning continued, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and talk with Joelynn. Joelynn dealt with every email I sent to her (which was a lot LOL), and always accommodated with our ideas and wishes! She was fantastic! If Joelynn was out of the office, Karen would always be there to respond to my emails. The team here is just amazing!! Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the food is delicious and the staff is INCREDIBLE! Planning any type of event can be super stressful- however, Trish, Joelynn and Karen made it the complete opposite for us! We can't thank them enough for making our special day a dream come true!

Our favorite! Always a treat and never disappoints. Quality and quantity of food coupled with extraordinary service. Bread is served warm and on a warm plate. Very fresh. Our favorite is the macadamia nut encrusted grouper.

We ate here tonight and LOVED IT! The property is decorated so nicely for fall. Service was excellent, and the food was great. The Halibut was the best I've had. It's hard to find a restaurant with this caliber service and quality.

I had my daughter’s Bridal shower in the Russo Room. It was so beautiful. The room was gorgeous and the food was delicious and plentiful! Joelynn was wonderful to work with, and the servers and staff were great! Would definitely recommend this venue to all!!

We got married here on Friday, 10/27/23. Every step of the process with this venue was easy, simple, personalized, and perfect. They were accommodating, well organized, and careful with our belongings. They do EVERYTHING- set up, take down. The food is incredible. The staff is incredible. The options for rain don’t feel like an afterthought. We were taken care of from start to finish and felt super special. Huge shout out to Tricia and Joelynn- our coordinators. They are absolutely amazing and took the best care of us throughout the entire planning process and the day of. Couldn’t have done it without them. And another shout out to our wait staff! You guys matched my vibe the whole time and made our guests feel cared for! Special thanks to our personal server, Dom. Dom kept our drinks full and packed up all the food I didn’t eat because I was too busy dancing. The cost of hosting your event here is so worth the price it’s not funny. If you want a seamless magical wedding, this is your best bet. We can’t thank John Henry’s enough!

This place is usually pretty good in terms of atmosphere and food. The last couple times I was there for dinner it was maybe a little less lively than I like, but of course that's just due to how many people are there. The staff is good, and food yummy. Definitely a place to try out if you've never been.

I’ve been coming to John Henry’s for decades, back when they were originally located in the Burg. My family and I recently celebrated Christmas Eve dinner here, as we usually do, and the food was incredible. I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal here.

I'm not even sure where to begin with how thankful my husband and I are for Stone Terrace making our wedding day the most incredible, perfect day. Stone Terrace holds an extremely special place in our hearts, especially my husband who has known the Henry family for most of his life. When we got engaged, we didn't look at any other wedding venues and booked on the spot the day we toured Stone Terrace and all they have to offer when it comes to weddings. Trish and Joelynn worked extremely close with us to plan every last detail and make our vision come to life. They answered every email I sent enthusiastically and made sure to double check all of the details with us multiple times before our big day. When our wedding day came around, the weather was iffy. We had our rehearsal dinner at Stone Terrace and it poured the entire time. When we arrived on wedding day, it had rained that morning and our ceremony was scheduled for the beautiful Stone Terrace garden. With the clouds in the sky and all of our phones showing us different weather, our ceremony was originally set up for inside, and 1 hour before our 4:30pm ceremony, we were able to move everything outside and have the outdoor ceremony that dreamed of and planned for. Stone Terrace's staff adapted and changed to seamlessly, you'd never even know that the back up plan was set up inside. If you've never eaten in the restaurant of Stone Terrace, you need to immediately. Our cocktail hour food and dinner tasted the exact same they would if you were sitting at a dinner table of 4, and they were cooking for 190+ people on our day. We enjoyed every bit of food we ate and countless guests have told us that it was, hands down, the best wedding food they've ever had in their lives. The ballroom was absolutely stunning. The table settings were absolutely perfect, the sweetheart table in front of their brand new fireplace was incredible, and the bartenders/serves were flawless. My husband and I are so thankful for Stone Terrace, John, Trish and Joelynn for giving us the best day ever. Please look no further for your wedding venue because Stone Terrace truly does it best. THANK YOU! <3

Very nice place. Food and service was great! Prices were exactly what you'd expect from a high-end restaurant. The overwhelming smell of carnations when you walk in threw me off a little bit and didn't help my appetite but other than that I liked the overall experience

Had dinner reservations for 3 on a Friday and was seated immediately. Service staff was friendly and attentive. Always made sure we had what we needed and food came out at a good pace. The calamari was really spectacular. So tender and fresh. Seasoned perfectly. The spaghetti western cocktail was awesome. They even use the fancy ice that's perfectly clear for their cocktails! Very boozy, so worth it. Absolutely loved the crab over linguini entree. You get to pick between bianca, marinara, and fra diavolo sauce. While they don't make their own pasta it's still fantastic. Loaded up with crab and their bianca sauce was so flavorful. Would definitely order again and try their other sauces. Their crème brûlée had a perfect crust and was delicious. No vanilla beans though but I'll give it a pass since it was good. The parking situation is pretty great too because of the abundance of spaces.

My family just had the best time attending a wedding at The Stone Terrace! It is such a beautiful venue, and the food, drinks, and staff were all superb. Best of all, I was told by the bride and groom that the planners at The Stone Terrace were very accommodating and easy to work with. It’s clear that they take great pride in making your event perfect. I don’t think you can go wrong by holding YOUR event here. It was wonderful!

My cousin attended the Mother’s day brunch today with my family as her first mother’s day. They had a 1pm seating. Everything was picked over. There were only a few crepes left. Lunch was gone. Just some fish, which they don’t eat. There was a spoonful of cream cheese in the bowl. There were 2 eggs benedict, some sausage and eggs. Their plates consisted of a few tiny breakfast items and a long hot pepper. She called ahead of time to tell them that they need more space by their table for her baby’s stroller. The lady checking in reservations was SO RUDE to my aunt. My aunt reminded her about the stroller and she RUDELY said “I don’t know what you want me to do.” That is how she spoke to my aunt while they were reminding her of a request that they made ahead of time. This is how your workers speak to guests? I’m mortified that this is how they celebrated. They each had 1 tiny plate and left. Even the coffee was cold. This was not worth $50.

We are Friday regulars and we always sit at the bar. AL always has our seats ready for us when we arrive. The food is out of this world. The portions are so big I usually have a second meal from my leftovers. Their filet mignon is mouthwatering, they cook it exactly as ordered. The chicken parm is marvelous with vodka sauce substituted for the sauce. The soft shell crabs are a favorite for my boyfriend. Always a great time.
