April 2022 - UPDATE Oh brother! *face palm* Zero consistency... McDonalds NZ seems to flip flop with service. Really.... photos attached of the mess they expect people to pay for... Same as Chartwell now... no lettuce, no tamota on one of the burgers and a small slither on the other. Cheese was stuck to the box. Not on the burger and there was a mess of some brown fatty substance all over the boxes.... gross 🤮🤢 PREVIOUS REVIEW - Now THIS is what McDonalds should be! (Apart from the down time of the frozen coke) Thank you SOOO MUCH to the team at McDonalds 5 Cross Rds. I appreciate the effort and care that you put into making your burgers. ❤️ I was so badly disappointed by the McDonalds in Chartwell mall so many times. But these past 2 times I went to the 5 cross roads branch, I have been pleased. Again, thank you :) super service and amazing meals :)

Worst Maccas I’ve ever been. Floor is very greasy I almost fall while walking. Rubbish everywhere. Very slow service and poor customer service. This place needs new management.

I went to pick up an uber order from here today. The manager tried to make me do things on my phone that would've disadvantaged me so I told her "No, I'm not going to do that until I'm in my car, thanks". I feel like she hasn't been told that word many times before because she was NOT happy about it. Oh well, the customer got their order before their expected time. Place needs a good clean. Disappointing customer service - better off going to Frankton for your Maccas cravings

The staff do not listen to the customers' requests. As a drive-through customer, you must check your order before you leave as there is something missing, and you have to go inside with the order to collect the missing items. It's seems better to walk inside to order.

Previously I have had many issues with my orders at 5 cross. But in this instance the team were mature and professional. I came in pretty agitated after finding an empty burger box. They explained and verified that those were the order instructions received by Uber. I’m concluding something weird went on with the app. But I would like to commend the two young male workers I delt with, one Caucasian with ginger hair and a hat, the other i think was Maori/pasifika with dark curly hair. They fixed the issue that inadvertently wasn’t their fault, offered fresh fries and apologised that I had to come in. I want to apologise for being a bit hot headed when I came in. But well done to those two especially.

I just ordered a Large Mc Float. You know how they have ice cream at the top, well mine had the minimum amount of ice cream.If I just wanted a frozen coke I couldve just ordered one for cheaper. This place dispointed me.

Happy to hand out very old cold chips and burgers to Uber eats probably knowing we have no recourse. $51 for food that should have been thrown out before it was even picked up. Rapidly catching up with KFC in a competition for ‘worst fast food trading off of brand values they long ago left behind’, like say for example giving a damn about a good customer experience …. Like, say, edible food … maybe hamburer took the quality manual when he was fired a few decades ago. If I was starving I still wouldn’t risk buying the cold cardboard these guys purport to be food.

Thought I would treat my niece to maccas before she went home. Ordered her a triple cheese burger meal no pickles ketchup mustard and add Mac sauce get home to have lunch with my niece just to find they had put mayo in her burger the customer service was shocking and I was the only car in drive thru. Only great thing about this trip was the cashier guy was polite from speaker box to the pay window hope you get recognized for your work dude I think his name was Dale or Daniel I couldn't see his badge properly

Only popped in for Drive thru coffee. Both times seem okay. Nothing exciting to be honest. Service is so-so. Angle of drive thru though is probably worth mentioning as it goes around in a small tight circle. Especially where the waiting 2 car parks is in an awkward position where cars trying to get by is a tight squeeze.

I am 50/50 with this maccas. Somedays you get good service and food and some days not so much. Many times I have ordered to takeaway and 8 out of 10 something is missing so please people check before you leave.

Will never go back to this McDonalds again. Took my family out for dinner around 7pm on Friday night. Rubbish everywhere on the floors, tables not cleaned, it was so hard just to find a clean table to sit at , I witnessed receipt rolls not being replaced in kiosks even thou it was causing multiple issues with peoples orders, very poor customer service. I also witnessed a man come in asking for some help, he seemed in distress stating that an ambulance was not coming and that it was urgent (I did not hear the whole conversation on what he was requeasting) but what I witnessed from the response of the employees was absolutely disgusting, the young lady which I assume was the manager was very short off, rude, blunt and very unprofessional and refused to help the guy (you know a little kindness goes a long way). After he left since they refused to help him, the workers still all have a fat discussion between themselves of that guy so loudly that customers can hear. Honestly feels like a bunch of high school kids working there. Only save and grace would be better management.

I ordered kiwi burgers chips cheese burgers and milk shake .this took 25 mins and i was the second order only 2 people after me .My kiwi burgers had to go back as no beetroot miilkshake sitting ready for 20 mins after 30 mins order was ready on eatung it it was cold and meat chewy not ar all nice .very disappointed as well as it costing so much to be put in rubbish .i wS not tge only one first people befire me had to send all there burgers back
