The entrance as written in the review is the Taco Bell's entrance so it is really easy to miss it but thanks to this review written, I got to the entrance with ease. Truly, this is the only gem I found after reading reviews of all the available accommodations here in Hammond. This place will not fail in anyway. Though it never bothered us, the interstate noise is present but what are ear plugs for? I would take this at any given time compared to living a nightmare due to failed booking in the wrong place. Either the owner themselves clean it or the cleaning crew are very responsible citizens. The pool is up to 5 feet deep. Breakfast is more than sufficient. Love everything and this place makes our stay so worth it. It's a plus to have blessed a friend with her family with a good night sleep as they are tourists from Asia. Without this place, I would have to face the guilt of gifting them unpleasant beds.

I am traveling from Virginia and was looking for a place to sleep. It's 6 am, I've been driving all night and this is the only place where I'm sure I'm not being ripped off. The customer service staff was very friendly and helped me to where I could park a truck with a trailer. The room is very clean.. I really recommend it

Clean rooms, could use one more full size towel. Four pillows with a king bed. Shampoo, soap, tissues and hairdryer supplied. Nice breakfast and the pool looked very nice and not on the side of a highway. We was recommended after different hotel in the area canceled.

We spent an overnight at SureStay Plus by Best Western Hammond. Wow that's a mouth full. Anyway, we spent an overnight in June, 2023. Our room has been renovated to decent standards. It looks like it was probably an older motel that has been nicely refurbished. Honestly, it doesn't even look that old. The entrance road (Duo Rd) looks like the entrance to TacoBell. But it is really a road that Taco Bell is located on. So it’s really easy to miss. The flooring looks like hard wood, but is a type of laminate or such. The furniture and other furnishings look up to date. The Bathroom looks very nice. The sink is outside the bathroom in it's own area. This is a normal design of the older style motels. They have their good and bad. The bathroom has modern fixtures. The shower/tub doesn't have shelves. But it does have space on the tub itself for shampoos and such. That would also be where the ladies could shave their legs and such. There was anti slip and a mat to keep folks from slipping in the shower. The shower had good water pressure with nice soft water. Just a nice shower. The room has a good amount of 110volt outlets for your plug in needs. The desk has two 110 outlets and two USB in the lamp. The bed lamps were the same. There are multiple outlets on the wall as well. There is the refrigerator, micro wave, iron and ironing board, and of course the hair dryer. The TV was smaller, but did the job. Lighting was pretty good because there was a lot of lights. The bed felt fairly firm. Which is the way we prefer. So we got a decent nights sleep. The heat/AC unit was fairly quiet. And we didn't really hear much else during the night. The highway is close by, but I didn't really hear it. There is an included breakfast in the lobby. It wasn't a huge breakfast by any means. But it did have a second small room that I didn't see when I took a picture. The breakfast had the usual. Waffle, toast or bagel, cereal, yogurt, eggs and sausage. They did have bananas which I like. So it wasn't great, but it could be a lot worse. It fills your belly before you hit the road. There is a nice pool, but we didn't have time to use it. So I won't comment other than saying it looks nice. And of course it had a vending area with ice machine, soft drinks and snack machines. All in all, Sure stay Plus was a fairly quiet and secluded little place, that was actually near the highway and the strip with stores and restaurants. There is even a large mall across the street. So it's amazing how quiet it seemed there. We found it a very decent place for our overnight stay.

Tight truck parking but worth the little extra effort to get in and parked. Always excellent service from front desktop no matter which shift, excellent breakfast, clean comfortable rooms, and very well kept property

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend and plan on returning. They are also pet friendly (with small fee) which is a huge plus.

Breakfast served from 7 till 9. At 7:30 there were no eggs, no fruit, only 3 yogurts and no teabags for hot tea. I usually love the waffles but they just didn't taste right. πŸ˜• Definitely disappointed this time around and we start at Best Western a lot.

We stayed in room 109 last night and what a pleasant surprise this place was! Room large and spacious, clean, quiet and the bed was pretty comfy as well. I recommend!

Thin walls, normally hotels, try to keep short-term guests away from the long-term guests. Stagger the room placements to avoid noise complaints. About midnight, baby crying loud talking, and restarted at 7am. It's not a decent sleep. Front desk unsympathetic.
