Update: Angela always seems to amaze me. Been getting Apres Gel X with her since December and this past weekend we went all natural. Angela did a miracle. My natural nails were so long and healthy we said goodbye Apres Gel X and hello Gel Builder. I am even more obsessed with my nails now. Angela has really taken her time to help strengthen my nails and make them fabulous. Already have referred my sister and best friend. Can’t get enough of her service. And of course Angela does it again. We laugh, we talk and she even had me try something different. I love them. The pictures do no justice. I can’t wait to go back. Angela is very knowledgeable in nail care health. I have been getting Apres GelX with Angela and I highly recommended them.

I wanted to give a local small business a visit so I talked my two friends into coming with me for a wax and gel manicure. Listen, Kim was fabulous. She was so welcoming and made the entire experience so pleasant!!! She even gave me a little tour of the rooms since I had never been in before. The facility is clean and cute and welcoming. I had a manicure with Sky and she was very friendly and chatty and made the experience a positive one. Overall I will recommend this facility and these services to my friends. I came a week and a half before my marriage and Angela, the owner, offered for me to come in before the day if anything happened to my nails. I forgot to take a picture the day they were done, but the photo here is one week after the service and they still look fine! Thank you all, we will be back again sometime.

Gloss is amazing! Sky has completely transformed my nails. My first visit I had short nails that constantly broke on me, and now I have beautiful long nails thanks to builder gel and Sky's amazing talent! Gabby is also amazing for my brow waxing, my eyebrows have never looked better. The owner Angela convinced me to try brow lamination and Raquel did a stellar job. I loved it so much I went back the next day to get my mom to laminate her brows and Maddy completely transformed them! Everyone at this salon is super friendly and talented. The beverages are a plus! 10/10 would highly recommend!

I was so excited to try Gloss when they opened because they were close by. And I am never disappointed! The girls there are so nice and welcoming. I go to Sky for my nails and she always does an awesome job! My nails always look perfect and just how I like them!

I LOVE this salon! I have been hoping for a nail place to open closer to me since I’ve been driving sometimes 45min for a nail appointment and am so happy this business provides! I’ve been seeing Sky for a few months now and am still in awe of her talent! She is HILARIOUS and the best nail tech I have ever met. I have been getting nail builder with designs and there is nothing this girl cannot do. I feel very lucky to have her down the street!

I am so glad I was introduced to Gloss and was thrilled to find a location so close to home. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive the second you walk in the door, offering you beverages, snacks, etc. Gloss staff truly care about their customer’s experience. Pricing is also extremely reasonable. I personally see Sky for my nail services and she is beyond accommodating and always willing to try something new. I constantly receive compliments on how well my nails hold up and how great they look. Safe to say I highly recommend Gloss!

Gloss is the nicest salon around. The atmosphere is truly beautiful and you can tell how much they care about cleanliness and their environment. They take pride in their work and always do a great job. They take their time and every time I go in, I sit down when my appointment is, they don’t make me wait an extra half hour like most salons. They truly care about what you want your nails to look like and take time to look at the pictures you show them and take their time with the service itself. Angela, the owner is great and Sky does my Gel X nails and they always come out beautiful. Truly the best place to go for a salon experience.

I always leave Gloss happy!! Angela works magic with my nails and nail art. Kim did an amazing job with my lashes. From the moment you walk through the door until you leave, everyone is very friendly and welcoming!

Raquel did a great job on the hydrofacial and dermaplane facials; she was very attentive and friendly. The room was clean and she was ready for me when I got there. Highly recommended!

I was very unsatisfied. Scheduled a brow appointment and after waiting 45 minutes was told i needed to reschedule. I still was open minded and came back later that day. I left with my brows looking worse. I will not be returning, they tried to make it right after the appointment mishap but the results of the service sealed the deal for me. I am very unhappy with my brows, i ended up coming home and trying to pluck them and fix them which is not what I wanted to have to do after spending money on getting them to where I want them. The lamination looked nothing like any lamination I have had in the past. They didnt look neat or straight at all the hairs were still going a million differwnt ways so I am not sure what she even did because it looks to me like nothing. Overall bad experience.

Today I had my first appointment, I was immediately greeted. Even though the receptionist was on the phone with another client. As soon as she got off the phone is she offered me a beverage. Angela was finishing up with a client when I got there which was fine. I myself was running a couple of minutes behind. She was extremely friendly, as was the other girl who was sitting with us. I never caught her name. Absolutely love my nails. I could tell that she was fully listening to what I wanted. For me, the true sign of a great business, is when you actually look at their two poor reviews. Angela's responses to those are completely heartfelt and sincere. She has a client for a life

I went to this salon to have a spray tan and I have to be honest I was very nervous because I’ve had bad experiences for spray tans from other salons which made me feel me sticky and look spotty. Kahlia was the one who did my spray tan and was very informative and answered any questions I had in detail which made me feel so comfortable about having my spray tan done. She did such an amazing job and I honestly walked out not looking spotty at ALL and my skin feels so smooth. She was very professional during the spray tan and even showed me how to stand and was SO friendly. I have my engagement pictures coming up this weekend and I am super excited because I look tanner and it doesn’t even look like I’ve had a spray tan! I definitely recommend going and asking for kahlia since she was very professional and informative about this whole process. I will be back!

Amazing staff and service. I’ve been going to Angela for a few years now and she does the most amazing job on my nails and I am always in love with the beautiful and creative designs she comes up with. I’ve also recently gotten my lashes and brows done there with Raquel and I fell completely in love. The staff there are all so kind and welcoming and really provide the best experience for whatever service you are getting done!

I love the Gloss girls! Seriously, they are worth every penny! I've had years of horrible nail techs damaging my nails, and just stopped completely trying. Cue my wedding... I planned to buy Walmart press-on and call it a day, but my now-husband convinced me to give nails a go once more and if I hated them, we'd soak them off at home and go to Walmart. After pouring over Google reviews for salons that could do baby boomer nails, I stumbled on one not too far from home. I gave Gloss a call and nearly fell out of my chair when I spoke to the owner, Angela, and she kindly asked my nail goals and then made recommendations to help me grow my nails for my wedding. And may I add, she was upfront on costs for each recommended visit from Shower to Wedding day, and she recommended optiond that made SENSE for my nail goals, not what costs more. Not to mention, I received an email listing out the time I'd need to pen in my calendar and the quoted cost, but I also received text reminders for the appointment. From the moment I walked into Gloss, it was different. Everyone was so nice, and the vibe was exactly the relaxing I needed during stressful wedding planning. I was nervous to get a gel overlay, I'd never heard of it before, but I knew if I hated it I could take it off at home. Jokes on me, I loved it. The Gloss girls were all so invested in helping me find the wedding nails of my dreams, and we really tried everything. And, the custom painted nail art Angela did for me has no words to describe how perfect it was for my big day. Oh and I should mention I get 4 week retention each set, so the old "every two weeks fill" is not necessary when I'm tight on cash (but when I have extra who doesn't love switching it up?). I also want to shout out Kim for making my wedding lash extensions perfect! Not only did she take the time to make sure the shape fit my eyes perfectly, she custom made the fans so it was more of a natural volume that I had really hoped for! They honestly deserve more stars!! I cannot wait to see what fun new artwork the girls will cook up!!

Angela is amazing a welcoming! I have never had a bad experience here, and she can alway make my nails look exactly how I want them. I’ve seen both Kahlia and Angela for facials, and they both gave me the best treatment! 🫶🏻

I used to see Angela, the owner (she's amazing!) at her place in Plaistow so I knew this location would be great, but I was blown away! It is stunning, clean, and all the girls are so nice. They have a bar cart and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Kass did my gel mani and dazzle dry pedi. She did a great job and made sure I liked the color/shape of my nails. The pedi chair was super comfortable. I love how they're super clean and use products like nail files once per client. I will absolutely be back, I am so impressed!
