My parents like this place and come all the time. Good list of burgers, sandwhiches and pub style food. Decent amount of specials too. Seems like a small local scene too by the bar area, where there are tables, TVs and im pretty sure lotto. Old style that adds to the character and casual and comfortable. Service was friendly and fast enough. I got the special burger which was very good and upcharged for a salad instead of fries. My mom got a fish sandwhich which was also pretty good. Will definitely go back

It's a cool place for a beer or a simple American meal. Old fashioned but great with a very good atmosphere. The plates are really (really!) large!

Great! Pub food and then some! You can get healthy alternatives, soups, salads, grill chicken. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. Nice portions fair prices, I'll be back!

Food here was really good. I had the sheppards's pie which had more meat than I was expecting. Could have done with more veggies to balance it. Same with the chicken pot pie, much more meat than we expected and needed some extra veggies to balance it. Both were very good though. Decent priced kids menu as well. Spent roughly $65 on 2 adults and 1 kid (no alcohol) before tax and tip.

Great local Irish bar with solid good food, spot on Irish dishes and awesome service. Whether you eat in or take out, the portions fit the prices and everything is beautifully presented. Faves for us here are the burgers: always gave a special burger on the menu and all have been amazing; corned beef & cabbage: a true Irish staple done right with the perfect side of house made Irish soda bread griddled to a golden perfection, the curry fries: some of the best addictive curry sauce ever, fried mushrooms app: I like that the breading isn't crazy thick; corn fritters: sweet golden brown deliciousness and their French dip is amazing! Good selections of beers on tap as well. I like that it's family friendly and die hard sports friendly all in one. Support local! Eat local!

I always prefer local restaurants to fancy chains. Even though it is not a fancy restaurant, and the food style is different, you always feel like you are in someone's grandmother's house. The lunch portions were big enough for us to last for dinner as leftovers. The French onion soup was excellent.

Excellent food and service! My husband and son had NE clam chowder to start, and I had a huge tossed salad. I ordered the turkey reuben lunch special and oh MY, it was EXCELLENT. My husband had the Rachael (reuben with pastrami), and my son ordered the kid's penne. We also ordered sweet potato fries for the table, and the basket was GIGANTIC. We all had leftovers. Service was prompt and friendly, and the place had a real "neighborhood" vibe.

We decided to go to Buckley's last minute for dinner. We were a party of 7 and they got us in right away. The service was amazing and the food was delicious! The Shepards pie was the best I've ever had! The nachos supreme was great as well. If Irish/pub food is what you are looking for, this is your place!

This used to be one restaurant I liked and I felt good about supporting a local restaurant. The service and food has gone down considerably. Such a shame.

Had dinner last night food was ok. Ordered a glass of wine with dinner which was not that good so I sent it back. The waitress said sorry and asked if I wanted something else. I ordered a different wine. The check comes and I am charged for both glasses of wine, $12 for the one I returned $9 for the other. I commented to the waitress who said they said you have to pay for both. I guess things must be tight over there any properly run establishment would have credited the customer for a returned drink that was not up to par. So instead of our regular ( we are year round) visit there we will go somewhere more hospitable. And fair to the customers. Was hardly worth $102 for the mediocre food which was meatloaf and burger with fries. Probably worth $50-$75. Its the nickel and dime game they play with you.
