We came to Hampton to visit the Space Museum and parked next to the tavern and decided to partake. We were met at the door by Nicholas (I hope I spelled it correctly) who was cordial and friendly. We sat at the bar and sampled a beer and chose a couple local brews from the taps and ordered She Crab Soup and a Grilled Chicken Salad from the menu and shared. Service was prompt and the food was awesome! The soup had just the right amount of heat and was full of flavor and I think I tasted a hint of nutmeg that just sent it into another level of goodness. The salad was just as awesome. The chicken was perfectly grilled, sliced and still moist and tender. The salad was well chopped and had an assortment of veggies added on the top. The balsamic vinegar was tasty as well. I would recommend this place to any that are nearby and want a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal of great food and tasty local beers!

I enjoyed my outing at Stillwater Tavern. There was ample amount of parking outside and the vibe was very chill. The bartender/server was patient and had an outgoing personality. The portion size was great and I enjoyed my visit!

No music. Dreadfully quiet. Smells like bathroom… presumably their sewage system has a leak somewhere. No one was in, but it was a Wednesday night so I’ll give them that. Bathrooms were dirty and also smelled like sewage. Overall depressing.

Nice bar, in walking distance from the Landings at Hampton hotel.

My crab cake sandwich was good. Ellen was my waiter and she acted some type of way towards us. I have never dined in and I had to pay for plastic ware or styrofoam cups! Food wise is a plus, service wise it’s a no!!!!!

This hole-in-wall location has an amazing atmosphere to it. The perfect blend of a fishhouse and a tavern. Prices for seafood are surprisingly affordable, and being directly under the parking garage for the surrounding shops makes it easily accesible.

Tuesdays are tacos and trivia. Of all the trivia locations I've been at, it's the most relaxed by far. Crystal and Raven are amazing at what they do and very friendly. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Bob is there on Thursdays and Saturdays for karaoke starting at 7 pm. He is one of my favorite people to see there. The regulars are friendly, and happy to sit and have a conversation.

Omg the chicken wings had no seasoning whatsoever. When I opened and looked at them I knew I was getting myself in to a bland time. I asked for some bbq sauce and ketchup to hopefully help. It did not. The lady was nice but I should have walked out soon as I walked in.

Out of what I drink, actually bartender didn't know what Dewars Scotch was. No big deal.Bartender made me his special drink and was tasty, I ordered a ribeye, no one bothered to tell bartender or anyone else they were out for several days. With 15 yrs in biz as owner mgr in biz in Texas this is amateur hour. Don't expect much from other establishments in this area either. Equally lame

The NC barbecue was soooo good! I will definitely be back!

Raven, Lawrence, Lindsey, and Courtney are phenomenal!! Food was phenomenal, everything was phenomenal!! Will definitely be returning. If you aren’t enjoying your Saturday evenings at the Stillwater Tavern with the Dream Team you’re living your lives wrong and you need to get it together with the quickness!!

Raven, Lawrence, Lindsey, and Courtney were absolutely fantastic during my first ever visit to the Tavern. I got suggestions for food (which were AMAZING), and great conversation the entire time! Loved my visit and will definitely be back. Thanks Stillwater!!

Out of town reviewed. Staying at nearby hotel. Looked up local spots bars. Made a stop. Lawrence the bartender was on point. Made the experience awesome. Drinks flowing, suggested the sea crab soup. Omg the best!!!! People are so friendly and welcoming. I for sure would recommend this place on a first impression.

Fun little place to hang out. Good beer selection. Karaoke Saturday nights are a riot. The 5-O burger is fantastic, and their fries are fresh-cut. Plenty of TVs at the bar for watching sports.

I went to paint.. didn't eat so I cannot speak to the food. I did have a good time & will return for another painting event soon.

A Candle making event was held here. My first time at this establishment. I will definitely return. Great staff, great customer service. Friendly atmosphere

Food was bland, fries were limp, shrimp had no seasoning, the hush puppies were good. The bartender Lawrence is worth returning. His customer service and drinks were tasty. So when we go back it'll just be for the drinks and kareoke.

We're new to the area. So far the food has been good. We're working our way through the menu. My complaint tonight is based on the menu that promises a pound of shrimp with the dinner at over $20. Only six medium sized shrimp and the cole slaw couldn't be eaten. The place needs cleaned up. Hugh pile of cigarette butts outside the entrance.

Great place to hang out. Everyone makes you feel at home, kinda like being at home but at a bar.

Found this place by accident because we did not want to set in traffic on 64. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Stillwater Tavern. The customer service was FANTASTIC the food was FABULOUS. We would go there regularly if we lived closer. We will make a point to visit again on our next trip to Norfolk.

The place is friendly enough. Kind of dead the night we went but it was a week night. Very quiet in there. There was no background music playing so I listened to others conversation. French fries weren't bad and plenty of them, but I didn't like the crab cake. It was cooked really hard on one side and mushy on the other side. Plus for that sandwich and fries came to $25.32. No drink with that but includes taxes. More than likely I won't try there again. Just too many negatives. Plus way too many other nice places to eat at around there.
